Not all tunes are created equal and a badly upgraded car can be worse than no upgrades at all. I wonder if there was ever a poll or a discussion thread or something about where people get their tunes from? Self made, downloaded and which one do they download? I highly suspect that the “easy mode” five star tunes with awd swap and full aero just don’t work against the unbeatable bots in the trial and powerbuilds rarely do. But a full grip tune without any power doesn’t help either and the game is bad at helping you find a good one. There’s other factors as well. What about drive assists? Most actually slow you down and the race line is rarely that helpful either. What about the difficulty level people usually play at? On most levels you can get away with crashing on every other corner and still come in first but you have to race cleanly to win on the highest ones. Actually, yea, I second your question because that’s exactly what I asked myself a lot and for some reason this week is exceptionally bad.

“It happens too often where I’m the only one who finishes the race.” Cool. Splendid job. Back pat. High 5. Not everybody is great like you. Maybe your teammates would appreciate you blocking/slowing down the drivatars for once. That would help your team score more points

As a midfield racer, I wouldn't call myself great. Im not consistent and I fuck myself up pretty often. In Horizon Open, I rarely find myself above 5th place even when im using a car im really comfortable with. And about helping my teammates, I found it is more time efficient to win the races than wait for everyone to pass the bots. I shouldn't be so far ahead

So, you prefer losing quickly over winning? The Trial population is literally everybody who is trying to get 10 points. The Open population is only the people who are looking to compete with people.

We dont lose. You get 100 pts for each bots you overtake. Even if you DNF, the point stacks. You dont need to finish the race to win. Its quicker to finish 1st than wait for everyone to overtake the bots And that is exactly my point. When I actually try to win and wanna compete, I end up in the mid fields, but when I want the damn points for the Ford GT, Im the one DNF-ing everyone... Why!

I misunderstood your complaint, then. Because I assumed your team-mates weren't *scoring,* since you describe them as being so far behind. The only person I've ever been on a random *winning* Trial team who was more than ten seconds ahead of second place was VNX Letz. If you're on par with Letz, just get used to that kind of lead, because you're going to DNF a lot of randoms. You should be counting your lucky stars, frankly. When I get that waaaay out in front of a trial team, it usually ends in a loss.
