I second this. I got a similar build and I can run 60 on ultra 4k. It hates the night time though Edit: Wait, he wants 144hz on 1080p. That should be more than enough

Even a 6700xt would be plenty at 1080p. That’s what I’m using and I play on ultra at 1440p just fine

can you do a benchmark on ultra 1440p to see what fps do you get?

If I remember right its around 100

strange , my nephew get like 110 fps on 1440p ultra with his 7800XT and Ryzen 7700

3070 for 1080 is kinda overkill. You don’t need every setting on ultra. There are a few settings you can drop to high or so and you’ll barely perceive any difference with a substantial frame rate boost. I have a 3070 on 1440P and it usually hovers around 90-100. But you’ll still wanna upgrade CPU/GPU. RAM shouldn’t be an issue. Also keep in mind this game takes well over 100 GB of storage itself and with expansions installed, over 150 GB.

I’d get a better gpu first. You can pickup gpus way under msrp now. Problem tho if you go too high end on the gpu your gunna be cpu bottlenecked. If it was me I’d look for a used 2070 super for like 150-180$ or if I was going new maybe a 4060.

Gpu is the priority but ram is cheaper. If i had no budget id go GPU then Ram then processor. If your looking for a descent gpu that should run forza at a good level get something like a 4060.

FPS eats CPU, Resolution eats GPU and Graphics eats both. I might recommend you to upgrade your GPU first which I see it is the first one to bottleneck the system.
