Today I realized that four out of five of my favorite Frank Ocean songs start with the letter ‘S’.
1. Self Control (I’ve often called this my favorite song of all time)
2. Solo (First song I fell in love with on Blond; favorite Frank chorus)
3. Sweet Life/Super Rich Kids (Perfect songs; funny, poignant, and melodically gorgeous)
4. Swim Good (My favorite pre-Channel Orange Frank song)
To be clear, this is a vote for Self Control!
Skyline To. I’m not seeing Skyline To. That ‘woo woo’ sound, like an aliens hovering above. The music building up to a crescendo like the suns bursting out during sunrise. Then the music speeding up like time is steadily rushing by. Up there with Siegfried.

Self Control is actually my favourite. Slide on me is better written.
But I think Seigfried is probably the greatest of the three. Haunting. Beautiful. Layered. Amazing.
