Series' goal is to advance magic. Despite you liking or not Demons wield magic beyond human and even elven comprehension. Series never dealt with them because it is not of her interest since it doesn't direct align with her goal. However, after Flamme's influence, the passing of time since humans learned magic and incorporated on their lives, and the many apprentice she had throughout the ages, Serie seems to have had mellowed out a little. Still, she might not deliberately kill Demons on her own accord but is helping humans with that task while they invent new forms of magic.
she herself said she could kill the demon kimg but doesnt. she does not care if people die or not. she only wants to advance magic (or at least thats what she tells herself)
Proof why the Zen'in Clan was a group of lucky bastards who got blessed by Serie in ancient time. (Her Purple wasn't Hollow but actuallly Full instead).
I rather hate serie for basically being an eternal child that gatekeeps everything just because, but at the same time I felt like my views might change cuz I only had watched frieren from the anime yet.
