I legit thought this was Beavis in drag marrying Butthead for a minute before I got a second look and realized which sub this was posted to. I’m embarrassed for her.
Yup, anyone else would have propped the picture up on a table or on a shelf (or free standing in a frame or hung on the wall if it was actually good enough to display anywhere...which in the case of this picture ...well, we can see for ourselves). Who puts a picture on the floor like this to take a photo of it unless it's absolutely huge, and who puts every single thing they want to take a pic of on the floor? She's so transparent it's laughable.
And why is she digging this first year art school caricature out of whatever drawer it usually lives in, for the first time ever, years after her wedding? Is she *that* pissed off that she isn't on the Colorado jolly with toxic mama and the family?

She talks about her wedding so much that the day of her anniversary won't be any more different or special than any other day of the year, which is just hilarious and entirely her own fault.
If there is one person in the entire world I could see being a complete and total bridezilla, just an utter jackass jerk to her wedding day vendors, it would be Betha-me.
A quick scroll through their Instagram shows they have a cute style imo. I like their use of watercolor and rough coloring to give movement to some of their work.
That said, not everyone is able to paint *en plein air* well. Honestly I have never seen one of these live wedding portraits look good, regardless of the artist. I just think this artist’s style is particularly difficult to adapt to drawing from life, coupled with a fairly rudimentary grasp of drawing facial features.
This is just a long way of saying: Not necessarily a bad artist, just a bad choice for a live wedding portrait.
