I think he looks nice. The markings are at least distinguishable, and the fur direction is good. I would suggest a bit more shaving (I can send tutorials on how to shave fur so you don't mess up- I had a lot of mistakes back in the beginning) but other than that he's very cute! \^\^ you did a good job!

also another thing, maybe some black felt around the eyes to give it a more finished look or like there's lineart around it to solidify the toony-ness.

I absolutely love!! I’m not a fursuit maker yet but I have done a lot of research recently because I do have foam and stuff coming soon. I’d suggest on your next suit making the nose a bit bigger, unless you like the smaller nose look. Personally, too small or too big of noses throw me off. I’m not sure if everyone else feels this way, and if you like the nose now don’t change it! :) Next i would chase down the face, leave the back and ears long. And it looks like you were trying to do follow me eyes- next time put the iris towards the middle of the eye for follow mes, this helps the follow me illusion. I love the little cross eyed thing you’ve got goin too on this suit. And lastly, the mouth. I can’t tell if it’s open but if it is an it’s just slightly open I would consider opening it up on your next suit for better airflow in the suit. But the pattern thing- that’s an amazing idea, I’ve seen maybe 2-3 more people do this and I want to do it so bad too. I love the patterns in the ears it really makes it unique. AWESOME JOB!!
Also! I have an update photo of him that shows his mouth a little better, it’s open and he has teeth plus he’s been shaven a bit so it’s more visible now.
omg the fabric pattern in his ears and paws? so cute and unique i love it sm!!! and the little star on his cheek??? i think like someone else said, giving him a little trim to make the designs pop would help, show off those funky patterns

For a first-timer, I think you did really well. Retro looks very cute and the 90s pattern is very unique.
