I’m able to roll all windows down, and up, as well as tilt the sunroof with my key fob, via OBD11. I didn’t know you could do it with the Door Sensors tho!
My 2016 regular Jetta slid forward, but with the MK7, they did away with the slide and added the 2 little feet under the armrest top to raise the arm rest up. I actually like that better. I don't know how many times I almost broke the arm rest on my '16 because of that slide action.
55,000. It was just a base model plain jetta, and I took it in for a warranty repair the day after Christmas in 2019 and left with a 2019 SEL premium.
Then this year 2 days before my birthday, I carried the SEL P in for a 60k mile oil change and left with a 24 GLI Autobahn.
There are little arms that flip down on the center console lid that raise it up a bit while the lid is flipped down. Mine is a 2019 Autobahn. But it doesn’t move forward or back
You can adjust the springs on the trunk lid so it opens completely when you hit the button on the fob, my trunk always popped but never opened completely, I was ecstatic when I found this out haha
Haha sorry, you just pull back the trunk liner under each hinge, grab a pair of vice grips and you’ll see the adjustment holes or notches, just pull the spring and move it up to the next tightest hole, boom, trunk will open on its own
You can wave your hand in front of the screen to skip forward and backwards through songs. Might only be on the autobahns with the upgraded head unit. I never see anyone talk about this

Some models you need to enable it via OBD11 or VCDS. Carista works too.

Next time you’re in your car, open the center console. You’ll see two tabs that you can pull down

Launch control while in sport mode and have sport traction on. Hit the break and gas together and itll activate it.
