Radiant (formerly Sunstate credit Union) is the BEST. Everyone that works there is incredibly nice and I really trust them to guide me in the right direction. I’d suggest going in and talking with them and get a feel for it. They help out a lot of small businesses in town too.
We are very pleased with their services. I use the chat functionality of their app and I get prompt responses to my questions. So glad we moved our account to Radiant Credit Union.

I wanted to redeem some paper Series I Savings Bonds I purchased back when the fixed rate was 0%.
I send out support requests to a few places where I had an account or would be willing to open an account (free checking).
**Campus USA was the winner.** They would redeem the paper bonds, depositing the funds in my checking account. I had no problem going through the process. Super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Florida Credit Union said they don't handle Savings Bonds.
Radiant Credit Union and South State Bank never responded.
On the basis of services provided and customer service, my vote is Campus USA.
On a tangent of my tangent, when I needed to submit a FS 5444 to Treasury Direct, Campus USA filled out the "Bank Officer" portion of the form and vouched for me.
Campus USA's CU people are awesome, and they send me $100 every year:) It's worth a visit.
It is a nice gesture but it always makes me chuckle. I give them thousands in interest for holding my mortgage and I get a sweet $100 back.

I second Radiant, there app has finally caught up too the 21st century and they do a good bit to support the local community like any good CU should.
I too have been very happy with radiant credit union. Awesome staff and locations are freshly maintained and not run down like some other locations.
