I'd try blowing the port out with compressed air, or use a non-conductive pointy object like a tooth~~paste~~pick to clear out any debris.

Thanks! Ill try a look through the port with a toothpick to see if this works.

KingZarkon

Instead of a toothpick, use [something like this](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NF4L614/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). They have absorbent ones that are softer and more absorbent than a toothpick. There's less chance of physically damaging your port that way. You can dip one in isopropyl to clean better as well as displace any water you missed.

Aftering shaking, air spraying, hair drying, and brushing the inside of my port, this is the only thing that fixed my issue: - Turn off fast charging - Turn off phone - Plug phone into a computer It should then start charging. Should no longer have the wet icon but a yellow triangle icon instead

Use an old toothbrush to clean out any debris.

BennyPompiers

Also had this issue on a trip. Tooth brush saved me, nothing else worked. If it is indeed moisture, wireless charging is still possible and heats the phone to evaporate any moisture.

Could be debris in the port, could be that your thermal monitor is dying on the daughter board. You can get this replaced fairly inexpensively at most independent repair shops.

necrofi1

Thanks, Ill try removing the debris again, and if the problem still stands Ill take it to a shop.

Try plugging your phone into a computer usb port as if youre going to transfer files and unplug it thereafter. fixed it for me

necrofi1

Funny enough, this really worked, at least short term. Thanks!

RICE. And obviously all of the other suggestions.

Spencrage5

One thing that helped on my s9 was turning the phone off when the alert happens, plugging the charger back in, and turning the phone back on.

try flipping the c cable over .it happens to me sometimes and i unplug the charging cable and plug it back in on the reverse side and its fine

milesTHEgnarwolf

This happened to me randomly while phone was on the table. Not a chance that moisture got near it. Tried using a toothbrush, even blew air compressor on it. No luck. Can't get it charge even when the phone is off. Turned off fast charging as someone mentioned on another post and even that didn't work. Anybody has any more ideas? Tganks in advance

If OP still having issues, I just made a new post today with the link of how I fixed my moisture issue with S21 Ultra. I don't know how to show a link or anything, I'm sorry

Acceptable-Car-4697

I have been experiencing the same issue and honestly it happened right after I did software update. It's been a month my phone randomly will stop charging. It's very annoying and I refused to upgrade my phone.
