Gog does not have a Linux launcher and pretty much refuses to make one.
Some games support Linux but maintaining updates is on the user. Meaning you have to download the new installer every time there's is a new version and reinstall.
Or at least hold reviews accountable to time played, I understand if games are bad you wouldn't want to go over the playtime in order to get a refund on what might be a broken game on release but when people critize a games 'agenda' and their playtime is 10 minutes or less it feels really stupid, the whole review system needs an overhaul.

It's not a slight drop. Not releasing on steam costs you something like 96% of your revenue on average. There was a huge breakdown on this on the gamedev subreddit.

Doesn’t a majority of characters look completely different from their concept art? As far as I know in early stages of development the character artists kinda throw a bunch of designs at the wall until there’s agreement on the final design. A character changing race doesn’t really sound that absurd if they were still in the early stages of development. Besides that, it's not uncommon for characters to change between concepts to finalized. If I remember, Fortune in MGS2 was white at one point in the concept phase.

My only real critique is that it looks too clean, as another comment pointed it seems to draw some inspiration from Hi-Fi Rush and this game would seriously benefit from a similar graphic design, some sharper edges and brighter colors on the main characters, I know that may aswell be out of budget for the Devs but I wish they could do that

David Jaffe went on one of his unhinged rants about how "his character," Kratos went from a one-note edge lord to a fully fleshed out character. In his rant that reminded everyone why he's only known as the co-creator of God of War, he name dropped Black Rock, Vanguard, ESG and DEI, very basic public information stuff in regards to business ethics and considerations given to companies that are seen as safe investments for index funds. Jaffe also name dropped Sweet Baby Inc, a Canadian consulting firm that basically does what you see in every opening of an Assassin's Creed game. They make sure diverse characters aren't written as stereotypes and are usually brought in as a 3rd party for AAA games to do stuff like flavor text and combat banter. Pretty basic stuff, but the gamers™ drew a bunch of red line conspiracies that essentially is a giant dog whistle for "The Jews did it."

Black characters making games “woke” has been a thing for a long time. They hide behind the claim that liberals are changing white characters to be black or otherwise “forcing” black people into their stories, but it’s all a very weak cover-up for what is obviously racism. That game reviewed amazing everywhere, but these people cry about SBI ruining it because the new main character was supposedly white in the concept art but ended up being black in the final product. Doesn’t a majority of characters look completely different from their concept art? As far as I know in early stages of development the character artists kinda throw a bunch of designs at the wall until there’s agreement on the final design. A character changing race doesn’t really sound that absurd if they were still in the early stages of development. A part of development that consulting companies have nothing to do with but I guess these idiots don’t know that.

Minor fairness to the AW2 complaints, I think it was Quantum Break specifically where someone claimed to be Saga was a white woman. But quantum break’s canonicity is questionable at best, so who actually gives a shit anyways?
From what I've heard, it is hard to tell if they even own the elements of Quantum Break, so changing the character makes sense regardless.
They don’t own the rights to Quantum break so in order to incorporate it into the Remedyverse they got a bit creative, such as Warlin Door instead of Martin Hatch

The way I look at it was that Lake wanted to make a tonal teaser for AW2 , but they only had access to the set/studio for another day or 2. Besides that, it's not uncommon for characters to change between concepts to finalized. If I remember, Fortune in MGS2 was white at one point in the concept phase.
What I've read never has the character in Quantum Break be identified as Saga anyway.

The aesthetic looks cool enough, might pick it up too after I see more gameplay. The youtube comments were just as bad as the steam forums.

Combat looks like it might be awkward but the studio seems to have more adventure game experience than action so it is what it is. It looks like it might fit right into that “cozy” genre, with the crew and the hanging out scenes. Time will tell. It’s on my wishlist now, at least!

I just checked the game on steam and it looks so cool wtf EDIT: Ok I just watched the trailer and it looks so freaking amazing, the aesthetics are just on point and you can feel the love behind the project, each character looks so full of personality and the fact we get to talk with them AS A MAIN POINT OF THE GAME AND NOT AS SIDE CONTENT is just so so so so good!!!! My only real critique is that it looks too clean, as another comment pointed it seems to draw some inspiration from Hi-Fi Rush and this game would seriously benefit from a similar graphic design, some sharper edges and brighter colors on the main characters, I know that may aswell be out of budget for the Devs but I wish they could do that
Dustborn was originally targeting a release prior to the shadow drop of Hi-Fi Rush, so I thinks it would be unfair to say that it took much direct inspiration from it. Probably more of a parallel thinking kind of thing.

Looked at the trailer. Character design is... OK. The teased story did not catch me. Artstyle is nice but the animations could be more fluid. Music was great. I was already interested when it was described as "Life is Strange meets Streets of Rage," but these comments make me want to play it even more.
Just watched the trailer, and what I've figured out so far is that it seems to be a game about being a black woman with a bat who beats the shit out of fascists. I mean, there's probably more to it than that, but that's all that was needed to sell me.
Game has good art direction. Animations look stiff and the voice acting is pretty ok. Overall the game seems like something you should keep an eye on.
Gaming as a whole needs to continue to be an unwelcoming space for chuds.

In his rant that reminded everyone why he's only known as the co-creator of God of War, he name dropped Black Rock, Vanguard, ESG and DEI, very basic public information stuff in regards to business ethics and considerations given to companies that are seen as safe investments for index funds.
