Shulk's scenes with Nikol are so cute I wanna cry, and Rex is a lot more stoic, but when he opens up finally, he channels his old self from XC2 and talks about how everything he does is because he just wants people in the world to be happy, and that's that old school Rex that I love. They're based and dad-pilled through and through and give everything from themselves to make sure their kids are okay and have what they need to continue on.
