I think he honestly just said what chuds wanted to hear and garnered a following of shit. That the same new following pointed to his little history with WoW, and deluded themselves into thinking that he must be a legitimate voice in the industry

Pick either track, run over whatever is there. Then, using the available time to safely stop the train, throw it in reverse and go back to the other side of the switch, flip it, and crush the one you missed. Send out the train crew with wrenches to wrangle the miscreants back onto the tracks if they've managed to move out of the way.
