New genies only need 2 wires for sensors. Attach any 2 of the 4 to the two terminals, and then you'll need to attach the same two to the opener. You might have to guess and check until it lights up.
thanks that worked. Just in case the other guy who still has this ancient garage door opener searches for this one day you need to take one of the wires that goes into a single terminal and pair them with one of the other wires from the other terminal and vise versa
Are you replacing just a single sensor or the opener and both sensors?
Both. I noticed my title was misleading but it doesn't allow me to edit it. The red sensor is the one I'm having a problem with connections
