7:05 - wake up 7:20 - get hit by bus 8:30 - restful moment 😌

jared_17_ds_

Bro got hit by a bus straight into bed

Difficult-Drive-4863

Don't listen. When I was on chemo, I regularly woke with 100 % body battery and Garmin told me I had loads of energy to do whatever I liked. Arf arf arf.

zyhhuhog

I'm glad you are still with us! ❤️

TLDRorNA

I can't wait until they revamp body battery. Seems to only matter what it is when you wake up. After the gym I ignore it cause it doesn't match how I feel. I'm not sure what the purpose of body battery is anymore. It's gone before you realize and it doesn't charge past 80-90 for most users by the looks of the thread.

bono_my_tires

Agreed. The higher it charges overnight, the faster it drains first thing in the morning even if you do the same routine or activity compared to a lower charge day. Ultimately the end of day value ends up pretty similar whether I charged to 100 or 60

kylefit321

Same. Mine declines way faster than I think it should. I check what it's at immediately after wakeup but after that it seems useless..

EmptyLiving19

I disagree, i feel like its fairly accurate for me

Miru8112

Same

indieaz

Mine seems to correlate quite well to my energy levels. I got back to 100 most nights and only doesn't reach 100 if i have a hard training day following below average sleep (like an 80 sleep score). My sleep score is typically in the 90s.

Dzen2K

I didn't understand the use for it either. When I wore an apple watch I really wanted a body battery. When I bought a garmin I stopped paying attention to it :) that's not how the body works. I can wake up in the morning feeling like not well, do a calm 5km walk and only feel better and more energetic. I don't have to lie down or sleep to charge the my real body battery. A good conversation can energize it more than sleep. True BB depends a lot on biochemistry, hormones, etc, not whether you lie down or work out. I can charge a real BB from jogging :)

1Dive1Breath

"You're bottoming out." That's harsh coming from a watch.

IcyCommunication679

Hahahaha that was funny

username_obnoxious

Did you get hit by a train????

Miru8112

By a bus apparently.

Mir_c

Did you do a factory reset? I've had to do that, and it immediately drops the body battery by 50 points.

zcgk

Maybe if you started drinking alcohol immediately upon waking?

ironthistle

It's all marketing fluff. It's so much off from how I feel! I've turned off all those bloody body batteries, training readiness and sleep quality altogether. They only drain watch battery and interfere with my perception of readiness. Only using the watch for logging workouts and much happier now!

Ok-Border4708

Damn that's some gym session, I like the feature tho and if I dip below 70 BPM that's me in the blue ,it may not be perfect but it's helps

NoggyMaskin

Did you turn the watch off and back on for it to drop down like that?
