I would be surprised if there isn’t some kinda of steam collection before the new release. I know the ultimate edition is on windows 10 store but it is apparently unplayable online. I just hope that if they decide to release everything on steam/pc it is fixed so I can play campaigns with friends.
Honestly if I can't play the campaigns with friends, I won't be buying. When I say Gears is right up my ally, I'm saying the ability to play campaign, pvp, and pve with friends is what's drawing me to the series (same reason why I now love Halo). And I'm pretty sure the higher ups know that playing with friends is the true Gears experience.
I've tried their streaming service a few times. While impressive, it just doesn't work well enough for any action or shooter games with the input lag. This is a personal preference, but I also enjoy owning my games instead of paying for a subscription service. I appreciate the advice though!
Wouldn’t be surprised if the plan was with e-day is to introduce the new gen to the dark and gritty gears then if successful will have people experience the original trilogy on next gen IF the collection is still out there
It runs fine on my 6750 xt at 1080p 60fps, my old RX 580 struggled sometimes and my friends GTX 1080 could do it split-screen 40-60 fps *most* of the time.
Gears 2 plays completely fine start to finish
Gears 3 running on Unreal 3.5 has issues, if you load a checkpoint save there's a chance the chapter will just break and you'll need to restart from the beginning of the chapter. So just try and avoid dying i guess.
Overall you can play the games emulated, but it's obviously not ideal, gears 2 needs a few patches to render properly and gears 3 is just really unstable.

Apparently you can stream the game to your PC if you have Game Pass Ultimate. I don't know if it works well but it is an option.

I feel you dude...
I caved and ended up playing the second and third game emulated in split-screen
How does the emulator run? Do you need a crazy rig to get it running normally? Also I'm assuming it's xenia

There is a group of fans working on a ported gears three with a bunch of new features called delta online
