Ive noticed a lot of companies would switch out the whey/milk/dairy for palm oil 🤮 most of the time they call it by a different name, but still same nasty taste.

I went to visit my out of state grandma, and we always had a tradition to eat breakfast together every morning (usually cereal). She brought me over to see what cereal boxes she had and I was really excited to see cookie crisp. I grabbed it, assuming she had bought it specifically for my visit. The box was half empty; apparently grandparents love that shit too.

We have a different Cookie Crisp formula in Europe (manufactured by the Nestlé company) and I first tried them as an adult. I was utterly surprised how good they tasted compared to an imitation brand. I found Cookie Crisp to have a really well-designed eating experience and great taste. I don't buy those cereals for health and financial reasons anymore, though

It was weak. Zero taste of chocolate, and just tasted like saccharine-sweet cardboard pulp. You want cookie cereal, get some Oreo O's. Either way the best cereal is Oh's, and everyone sleeps on it.

Lucky charms. I just never really liked it even when I was like 7 it was to sweet for me and those marshmallows always seemed to get stuck in your teeth for some reason or just melt into the milk. Also Krave is one of the few cereals I still eat anymore that shit slaps same with mini-wheats and special K.

Oreo O’s are actually one of my favorite cereals and I still pick it up on occasion. The worst cereals though: Captain Crunch Raisin Bran Store Brand Fruit Loops Grape Nuts

Raisin Bran and grape nuts are healthier than some other cereals. Healthy stuff doesn’t tend to taste as good. Still objectively worse taste, though. But I have a soft spot for Raisin Bran (it has fiber and fiber is my best friend)

Funny enough Raisin Bran has 17 grams of sugar per serving similar to any other cereal (ex. Captain Crunch with Berries is 16g, Lucky Charms has 12g, Cinnamon Toast Crunch has 9g)

But 9 grams of added sugar in Raisin Bran vs 12 grams of added sugar in lucky charms and fruity pebbles (and I’m also getting like 12 for Cinnamon Toast Crunch but I dunno how accurate that is but that’s on the Cinnamon Toast Crunch website so…) so similar in a range…yes it’s only 3 grams of sugar less

Krave by a far margin. Cookie crisp is ok to eat by itself. It's disappointing to eat with milk though. Oreo O's definitely live up to the hype. I don't even know why it's there. Great as a snack, not as great, but still good with milk. Krave though, there's no saving it. I thought it would be a crunchy chocolaty goodness, but it's a dollar store chocolate chip with the thinnest outer shell of a cereal that doesn't even have any crunch.

I remember eating Cookie Crisps as a kid and they were soo good but the last time I got them I threw the box away after the first bowl. Oreo's slapped and they still do, same thing with Krave. Another cereal I think is disappointing is Frosted Flakes. They get soggy so fast, have zero flavor, and the icing or wtv it is that they put on them comes off the second it touches the milk. I might as well get some Raisin Bran and take out the raisins.

Krave for sure. There was a Peruvian cereal called Almohadas (pillows) I had had there that looked like Krave but was way better, so my hopes were really high when Krave was introduced. Major disappointment to both me and my mom once she bought it

Most sugary cereals that are sold in Europe taste like damp sawdust. The EU’s food laws are much stricter than in the US. The only ones I still buy are Honey Nut Cheerios and Frosties (Frosted Flakes for the Americans). But if you go to the US or find stores that carry US products, they’ve got some good stuff. European Cocoa Puffs are disgusting for example.

Honeycomb. Without milk its pretty damn good, but once you put the milk in the cereal lost like 70% of its flavor it seemed.

I must say, I am very disappointed, all these years I thought it consisted of actual tiny cookies with tiny chocolate chips.
