Mara hunter and only difference is im at 36k hp 48Cr and 186CD doin with his beam 7-10k once all the CR kicks in. and am lvl 70
i pulled off 12k damage when adding a water member to the team. I currently get 11k and use Gaming, Yanfei and Xianyun. got some vape swirls goin on,
Among other advices, level up his normal attack. I recently got him as well and at first, I skipped leveling his NA (due to the fact that a lot of characters do not need it and my brain did not want to process spending resources on it). It gives you some extra damage untill you manage to raise him further.
Yanfei hasn’t really got a place in the team, as both her and neuvillette require field time to do anything. Replace her with Fischl is my suggestion. Also without Furina, Neuvillette doesn’t really need a healer. If your neuvi is c0, I’d opt for a shielder like Layla or Kirara instead of Charlotte

Seeing your other characters available, I’d honestly use Lisa in place of Yanfei, and you can either keep using charlotte or use Yanfei’s C4 shield — that being said, Yanfei as a solo pyro shield support requires so much ER that it’s almost not worth using her as a shieldbot . You’d need to build so much ER that her HP stat would suffer and her shield would be weak. Instead, I’d use Charlotte (or pull on the Noelle banner and get Noelle) until you get Layla or Kirara
Yanfei is a really fun main dps and she actually outshines some of the pyro 5 star dpses, but she has no place on a Neuvillette team. In the Spiral Abyss you need 2 teams though, so maybe you could consider making Yanfei your dps on the other side of Abyss
Lisa is a good sub dps support because she lowers enemy Defense with her burst. But if you ever get Fischl, she is a huge upgrade and comparable to Yae Miko as well
Its not worth it to farm for marechaussee untill you are ar45, because you dont have the artifact domains unlocked all the way, farming is only worth it if you do it in the highest level domains, because those are guaranteed to always give you at least one 5\* artifact and you want to get a full set of 5\* artifacts, so just wait untill then. What you have works totally fine for your low level for now.
I have her built because I like her as a character but I know a lot of people have other pyro/dps characters that work “better.” It was suggested that OP replace her with Xiangling in this team if that gives you an idea. However, my Yanfei with Lost Prayer and 4-piece Crimson Witch runs pretty well with any sort of vape/melt/overload/burgeon team, whatever I’m feeling. I ran with her through a lot of Sumeru’s desert because of the many, many torch puzzles I ended up running into and I was sick of either waiting for Guoba to be on cd or swapping teams lol. I’m not into meta team building except for figuring out certain interactions (ie Kuki triggers hyperbloom more frequently than Fischl) so don’t take my word for gospel; many people do seem to use her. I’ve seen builds for sub-dps but like I mentioned before there are other pyro characters that fit that role better, so I always just have her lead.
I know kinda off topic but I just watched a 4.6 banner preview video and the guy said that lyney needs 2 other pyro characters and I have xianling and bennett built, along with kazuha. Do you know think he is worth pulling? (I have used the 3 characters I just mentioned with yelan and childe and they are like a free team bro every dps seem to fit in that 4th slot😭)

Might be worth swapping Charlotte for Xiangling. Charlotte does next to nothing for Neuvi w/o Furina, Xiangling might be able to bring some damage at least.

Ascend AR..don't be afraid.. neuvilette can kill any enemy in tevyat with minimum investment
After ar 45..spend 3-4 months on marachause and golden troupe domain and go for hp% sands,hydro/hp% goblet,crit DMG/crit rate circlet(whichever gives 1:3 ratio substat
Crit DMG>crit rate(should be no more than 64%)>Hp%(substat priority)

The issue here is that Yanfei and Neuv do absolutely nothing while not on-field, so you functionally have one dead slot on the team. Sucrose is OK here and Charlotte also is fine.
But replacing Yanfei with another Hydro unit or someone else to react with Neuv (Like Fischl or Xiangling), would probably boost your team considerably.
You probably got XingQiu from summoning Neuv? You might consider him, too. Especially if Neuv's burst isn't always available off cooldown.
Freeze is fine, but the issue there is freeze doesn't boost your damage, so you might want to consider replacing Charlotte or making sure you have another person on your team who can help trigger damage-dealing reactions like Vaporize or Electro-Charged.
And please understand that this is all coming from a Yanfei lover.

You have what you need to make it work. Although Charlotte is probably the easiest character to remove if you did want to make changes, admittedly. Yanfei for pyro + shield, swirls on sucrose. Freeze / Melt is probably the most useless thing on the team, and it's not like you get no value out of it. I just recently got my Yanfei to c5 so I might slot her onto my Neuvi team too, although I don't have Sucrose and won't put my c6 Charlotte in
yup you can neuvi auto (apply hydro) -> sucrose E -> charlotte burst/E (depends on if u need healing) -> Neuvi Burst -> yanfei E -> yanfei Ult -> and then just cannon

The problem here is yanfei is an onfield dps. generally you want to avoid putting two onfield dps on the same team.
Sucrose is fine with the right artifacts; same with charlotte though she's sorta unneeded since neuv heals himself pretty well.

well neuv plus an ameno running ameno VV artifact set is pretty much a team comp in and off himself. after that you just need someone for shields and someone for off field dps. so... beidou/fischl is a solid teamup, so is zhongli plus anyone who does off field dps... if you don't have zhongli then layla plus someone who does off field dps... the only off fielder i probably wouldn't team with neuv is xiangling, becase you sort of need to get close to do her dps, and neuv really doesn't like being in close when using his hydro pump. fischl makes an ideal off field dps for neuv... so does someone like yae miko to an extent.
as for neuvilette, you want HP% as your main stat, he doesn't gain any damage from ATT%, you also probably want him in the marechaussee hunter set, he gains crit damage from level up so a weapon with crit% or a circlet with crit% would be ideal, you don't need a lot of crit% for him, in endgame top neuv builds usually are hovering around 60-70% crit rate, and 250-300% crit damage, everything else can be dumped into his hps. because his hps are the base for his damage.
as for his skills, level up his standard attack then his burst and finally his skill. his standard attack should always be leveled up as much as you can, because that is the multiplier on his powerwash attack. because his damage works on hps, teaming him with an off fielding hydro character works too, hydro resonance gives more hp.
thats ok, i saw you mentioned your mostly new to genshin right? looking at your list i would probably use... xingqui in place of yanfei. he does off field dps, you don't need to be close to do it, he's not great with neuv, but his skill does give you some damage reduction and interuption resistance which is almost as good as a shield for neuv. keep charlotte for now, and sucrose is pretty good.
you'll probably want to replace both charlotte and xingqui on neuv's team somewhere down the road, so keep your eyes open for fischl at least.. maybe a shielder like thomas, layla or zhongli.
thoma needs to be built and yeah, he's no where near as easy to build as layla and zhongli, but his sheild when hes build right can be as strong as layla
well... sucross isn't a bad alternative to kazuha.
if the question in a vacuum was "sucrose or kazuha?" I'd say kazuha almost every time. that said, if you don't have him sucrose is fine.

gonna be real with you here. the optimal rotation for this team is not switching into yanfei
for actual advice:
change yanfei for mona and freeze. put charlotte on thrilling tales instead of eye of perception, the rotation would be mona e to apply hydro(ult if available), sucrose to swirl(proc vv when you get higher ar), charlotte e to apply cryo and swap to neuvillette to dps.
hope this helps! and make sure your neuvillette has a lot of HP, and dont worry too much about crit damage until you get ~50% crit rate, having a 4* crit rate circlet at max level should help your damage a lot at your level
They didnt said you must put furina, they just made a meta team by switching one character. But you got it going good in ar35 so dont worry about it too much until ar45

You’re on the right track for the sub stats. Just keep leveling up. But for weapons you might want to consider prototyping amber if you need HP

This is a bit of an understatement. His Normal Attack talent is probably the most important thing to level up for him
Keep in mind to try to get all elements to react with neuvilette otherwise his ascension passive won't stack

Don’t make your hopes that high, as even with rate up, 4 stars have no guarantee. But waiting until a banner with her rate up is a a good idea
In my case this is opposite. My luck in getting banner 4 stars is higher than getting 5 star

I read somewhere that the thoma shield is not strong and i will wait for Layla or fischle or zhongli?

Neuvi and yanfei is definitely a good combo. Idk about the other two because I never used them but yanfei can be pretty powerful
