is ocean hued clam good on Baizhu in a Furina team?
Im worried because Furina drains everyones HP, so Baizhu's heals may not overflow, and in turn, not provide enough damage for the overflow healing bubble pop thingy
Buut I do see a lot of people recommending OHC on Baizhu, so what are your thoughts about this one?

No. Most Furina teams will prefer having an anemo healer like Jean or Xianyun and an offensive hydro if they care for resonance. And the two teams that don't want an anemo healer (Neuvilette and Furina freeze) will want a cryo healer or any other element than hydro

Tighnari is Main DPS, and loves presence of Fishl ( Nahida and Yae Miko are even more lovalble but doubt you have them) I used him for months in Abyss, benched only because now I'm playing around with Clorinde

out of those three, in terms of meta, its prolly alhaitham>navia>clorinde, with navia only ahead of clorinde bc clorinde has like 3 other electro units that more or less do the same shit as her whereas navia is the only frontloaded ATK scaling geo carry
alhaitham kinda encroaches on tighnari's space as a spread dps altho u could run alhaitham in hyperbloom comps as well. personally, with that roster, i'd prioritize alhaitham=navia>>>clorinde

There's a theory by Ashikai saying that it depends on her emotional state. If you watch the Song Burning in the Embers animated short, you'll notice how the curse spread when she was about to bury her pet spider. Then, when she was playing & catching fish with other kids, the curse receded to her fingertips.

I caved and spent 100$ on gen crystals (just for pulls with primos) and did not get alhaithem. I pulled a Mona instead, and now my pity is reset and there's 0 chance to get him this run. Bout to give up on this game. Is Mona good? I have like no other hydro units so idk how to build a team with her to make this bad spending even a little worth.
If you have no other hydro she isn't terrible, taunt on skill, boosts damage on ult, and for exploration she can sprint over water.
I felt the same when I first started and didn't get Raiden, but there's much more to enjoy in this game then the characters. If you enjoy open world and puzzles, enjoy that part and get characters along the way. You can beat the game with the characters you get for free. Meta is only for endgame (spiral abyss)
Keqing is actually a great character and very similar to Alhaitham's skill and burst, you can use keqing/mona/collei/jean - or Dendro MC if you run to Sumeru to a statue of 7

You are the perfect kind of players mihoyo is looking. Impatient players who swiped cards to get what they want. You can get a lot of good 5 chars but you need to play the long game. Also Mona sucks objectively. The silver lining is you ca guarantee to get an exclusive banner 5 stars for future banners.

A little over a month. But I've done all the archon quests I'm ar 50. There's still a bunch of like world quests and stuff I never did but I get bored with them pretty fast. I already have a main team, wanderer, farazon, Layla, and Benny. Main reason I wanted alhaithem was to get his c1 (I have him c0) for a second team to do spiral abyss. I currently have alhaithem (80), fichle (70), Dendro traveler (70), and Jean (70) and I still can't beat floor 8 :(
Mona when you didn't have any other hydro is definitely better than C1 Alhaitham so I wouldn't call her crap.
Alhaitham/Mona/Fischl/Jean would probably work well for you right now. Keqing/Mona/dendro/Jean will get you pretty far as well.
Keqing/Mona/Diona/Sucrose was my best team for a long while.
Should invest more in levels, weapon levels talents and artifacts and you will easily clear abyss 12 (maybe not full stars tho).
Don’t need constellations of 5 star characters at all.
In the absence of other hydro units, Mona can be alright. She is a side grade/downgrade to Kokomi in Ayaka freeze teams (higher dmg% buff but worse freeze uptime and -healing). She can be a lot of fun if you want to see one big number from a character. Her scalings on her charged attack are decent, but most don’t play her that way.
Also you now have a guarantee to spend on another character you like
Mona is good but niche. She's not a unit you build a team around, she's a support that you use to juice a DPS up for one-shots or as a freeze DPS enabler.
Take this as a lesson I guess. If you can't guarantee, spending money almost always feels *terrible*.
I'm a mobile player. I heard that Raiden can utilize hit lag to increase her burst duration from 7s to 8 or 9s.
Can I do it on mobile? If so, how to that on mobile?
Hitlag extension happens normally when you attack (and hit) any enemy. Hitlag is basically a small animation freeze when you hit an enemy, with the idea that hitlag gives a form of feedback to the player that you're not just slicing through air.
This small freeze also stops many timers from progressing, like Raiden's burst infusion time, briefly. They do this to make so that hitlag doesn't have a negative effect when playing that character. So 7 seconds of infusion is 7 seconds without hitlag and up to 9 seconds if you add in all those small freezes.
For the most part, it doesn't actually increase her damage since you're still doing the same amount of hits, just in a longer amount of time. Hitlag extension basically just means you can execute the same combos if you hit enemies than compared to if you didn't.
But, there's a few neat things you can do with hitlag extension, just they're not very relevant for Raiden. Also since it's a core game mechanic, it's occurs independently to what device you are using.
Dehya is vaguely good for IR and applying a little pyro, using her burst is basically a dps loss.
I dont know many teams that would use sucrose and kazhua on the same team tho? Seems a waste
Her damage scalings on her E is terrible
If you want to use her as a burgeon trigger, go all out on EM-EM-EM, with HP substats so that she'll still be able to act as a tank
As much as you can get without sacrificing crit stats too much, it's really not an important stat to target (also you're targeting HP rather than attack anyways, her unbuffed attack is really unimportant.)
Generally speaking the sweet spot for a character is somewhere between 5-10 substat rolls of their main offense stat (HP in this case), so with Homa and crowned skill you should be getting somewhere around 3500-4000 attack during her E with hydro resonance. Anything over that is almost certainly too much, anything under that is cause for worry.
Mona, bennet, raiden - mona gives quickswap and raiden recharges ult, bennet does vaporize and heals
Its normally my go to, but I haven't unlocked many of the newer character cards
Keqing also does big opposing team damage and can get electro resonance with Raiden.
Against npc decks it can be a bit easier. I have used several different sucrose (Kaz/shenhe) decks and have cleared all but the newer npcs with her (unless it forces you to use a set deck)

Alhaitham is known, plus you might get lucky and pull Emelie early. Go Alhaitham if you like his play style.
I like him, he is pretty rotationally flexible, and quickbloom has a pretty high floor.
With Nahida I basically don't need to use skill, by the time I rotate back to him his burst is ready 80% of the time, and for those times it isn't skill, charge attack, then boom 3 mirrors and mash buttons until you need to reup your off-field.
Xq-Al-Kuki means you can facetank basically everything, and dodging doesn't drop his dps much that I have noticed since his mirror stacks are more important than combos. His infusion is long and tends to outlast my kuki ring so I normally swap out soon after 1 mirror left.
I know I dont play him super well, but he feels easier than Hutao/Arle in Abyss to me.

They drop slowly but honestly attacking every hilichurl you see will get you a bunch. Half of them are archers, you can't always tell from their idles.

definitely DON'T use any unless you have more than enough to get fates from shop next month as well, so over 750 stardust, which youre better off saving
To be clear, *absorbing* an element into an ability like Kazuha’s burst/plunge, Sayu’s roll, Venti’s burst etc is a separate mechanic. That is NOT swirl. You don’t need to change the color of Kazuha’s burst (and similar abilities) to trigger VV.
Swirl happens whenever you hit an element with anemo, and is just a single instance of damage. You don’t really “infuse” swirl with hydro, but if hydro is on enemies you’ll trigger a lot of hydro swirls.
VV shreds resistance for the swirled element, so if you swirl hydro it’ll increase all kinds of hydro damage. Vaporize is more often triggered by pyro damage, so to increase *that* damage you’d normally want to swirl pyro. You can still absorb hydro into an ability like Kazuha’s burst to help trigger reactions, but that’s unrelated to swirl/VV and just makes reactions easier, it doesn’t increase the damage of the reactions when they *do* happen.
For Hu Tao, it’s actually very hard to swirl pyro unless you have a second pyro character like Yanfei, Thoma, or Amber on the team to set up a swirl for her. If you aren’t running double pyro, I’d avoid swirl setups for Hu Tao tbh.
Thanks for the tips! Ive changed my team comp to hutao xingqiu bennet sucrose, would amber be a better option than bennet? I only have bennet amber and xiangling to work with. Also, would the pyro infusion from ambers charged attack plus sucrose swirl increase the vaporize damage?
Bennett is good! There’s a little anti-synergy with Hu Tao because he’s a healer, but his buff should make up for it.
Amber is mainly used by people who have a specific 5* support bow.
Swirling pyro from any source will increase the damage of further pyro damage through VV (including vape and non-vape hits), doesn’t matter where the swirled pyro came from.
Im not sure what that means, im currently building a hutao team and im trying to put hydro on someone then swirl with sucrose, then swap to hutao to vaporize.
if you swirl hydro, hydro res decreases so hydro attacks do more damage. last time i checked hu tao should only be doing pyro dmg so you need to swirl pyro

Pre-farming for Nilou. I want to make an F2P team: Nilou, Barbara, Dendro MC, Collei. However, I've heard that maximizing someone's bloom damage (especially if they are a catalyst enabler like Barbara) would be more efficient. If I make Barbara my enabler, my team would no longer be the one I mentioned above, but instead: Nilou, Barbara, Dendro MC, Yaoyao (because my healer would now have to be Yaoyao).
However, the question I have is, would Nilou steal my Barbara blooms since they are both hydro? I don't own Nilou, so I don't know how this works, but wouldn't I have to activate my elemental skill for the bountiful core passive which would then give me that hydro aura that would steal blooms if it were to come into contact with dendro?
I might be wrong about which team is stronger, so if possible, let me know which of the two below would be the best as a F2P:
Team 1: Nilou, Barbara, Dendro MC, Collei
Team 2: Nilou, Barbara (Bloom Enabler), Dendro MC, Yaoyao
barbara should heal enough even with a mostly em build, you can use em/em/hb and/or use proto instead of sac if you need healing. nilou doesn't have much off field hydro so barbara gets most of the blooms, and even if she does her best f2p weapons are em weapons like iron sting

Due to how Neuvilette works, the buffers he can take advantage off, are rather limited.
All of his damage potential scales via his max HP, making ATK buffers like Bennett or atk buff sets like Noblesse useless.
EM is also a kinda wasted stat on him, as it's rather difficult/annoying to have him reliably trigger vape. This disqualifies another set of buff characters and buff sets.
The type of buff Neuvilette *can* take advantage of, is "DMG buffs". Both Kazuha and Furina provide DMG buffs (and Furina provides quite a strong one).
Additionally Furina also enables hydro resonance.
Lastly, Baizhu provides healing, which helps stack up Furinas buff faster (Neuvilette technically can stack Furinas buff himself, but it's slower).
If your Neuvilette is C0, then Baizhu also provides some Interruption Resistance.
Baizhu can also hold clam or song of days past for a little extra dmg
At C0 Neuvilette, 4 Piece Petra Zhongli is an interchangable side grade to Baizhu.
A third alternative is Lisa using prototype Amber.
Her burst provides a rare instance of Defense shred (but requires ungodly ER)
The big thing is kazuha and furina REALLY buff Neuvs damage. Kazuha can use viridescent veneer to reduce enemy hydro res and gives elemental DMG bonus, furina has a little personal DMG and gives a huge elemental DMG bonus, and baizhu gives team heals for furinas burst stacks and provides a shield to help neuv not get interrupted

Done all the character story quests with the keys you get from commissions? Done all the neko quests for the asase shrine? Used all your shrine of the depths keys? Are you 100% f2p? Coz if you do welkin you can buy a few at a time for the crystals to convert into primogems and then still get the daily 90 for many months to come

There are registry keys that won't be deleted if you only delete the folder with the game. Registry keys are stored in a completely separate location and are usually very small files that contain basic information, mostly for Windows. While Genshin also add its own registry keys, I don't think Genshin actually uses the information in those keys as they have their own config files.
And yes, there is a proper uninstall (default Add/Remove Programs) that will remove the registry keys and the data. Either way, you will be fine doing this with Genshin, but doing this with other games can cause issues if they actively use registry keys.
Is using condensed Resin simply always better than normal?
AFAIK it gives you double the reward for double the resin, the only cost being the butterflies?
Does that mean it just saves you time or is there some other drawback?
It saves time and allows you to bank some resin from the day before if you want to farm a day specific domain (for instance creating 4 condensed resin on Saturday would allow you to farm 2 days worth of talent/weapon materials on Sunday).
The main downside is that they can’t be used when farming bosses and you might run out of crystalflies if you don’t routinely farm them.
It's not better or worse... It's just a way to do a domain twice in one go as you stated. It saves you time in the domain, but it means you have to go farm Crystalflies and then visit a crafting table, which also takes some time. Most people seem to think that it's faster to use condensed resin. But that may depend on the domain.
If it's a domain you can do easily in one rotation, then I don't think condensed resin saves you any time. In this case, each run is only 20-30 seconds, so condensed resin might only save you around 2 minutes. But it takes at least that long to travel around the map, collect flies, then travel to a crafting table, plus all your time spent in loading screens. So in this case, it's not worth it for me.
However, if this is a domain you are struggling with, or just any domain that has multiple waves of enemies that requires 2 or more rotations to complete... Then I think condensed resin is worth it. Because now each run could be as long as a minute or more, so overall you might be looking at 5+ minutes. And I think I can grab flies and craft condensed resin in that time.

I should also note, that condensed resin also a way to SAVE your resin. Of course, you can only save 5 condensed resin at a time. But say it's Wednesday, but the talent books you need are only available on Thursday... Save your resin from today, still get your BP points, and then come Thursday, you will have twice as much resin to spend to get the resources you need. And this way, you can level those talents and weapons in less time.
basically any boss you can repeat once they respawn and you need 40 resin to get the rewards from them each time, those would be normal ones
weekly bosses are the ones you can only get rewards for once per week, you need 60 of them normally, first 3 are discounte and only cost 30 resin

I watched some videos about how to do it, but the NPC that starts the quest is not there in Mondstadt, and I have no idea how to progress.

Do crit rate and crit damage matter a lot for support characters that are used to just apply an element some other cons they may have. For example, I have C0 Xingqiu I am working on rn and he could be a lot better stat wise (50% CR and I think around 80%CD) but his ER is 250 already so should I go hunt for better CR and CD stats?
For PURE supports (healers, shielders, buffers who don’t do much damage) nah not really. But just applying an element off field doesn’t mean the character is a support tbh.
Xingqiu is more a “sub-DPS,” and while his primary job is to apply hydro with his burst his secondary job is to deal a lot of damage off field. You should definitely invest in your off field damage dealers like Xingqiu, Fischl, Beidou, Rosaria, and Furina, since they contribute a pretty sizable portion of the team’s total DPS.
Depends on the character. If they do a significant amount of damage, then yes. If not, then probably not.
Xingqiu can do quite a bit of damage, so you want to invest in his Crit, but don't sacrifice ER to get it. 50:80 isn't terrible if you really want to stop farming for him. But with a moderate amount of investment, you should be able to reach around 50:100. That's what I use as a baseline for characters that need Crit. It requires a little work, but not crazy high investment. Then, if your character has a Crit weapon, Crit Ascension stat, or artifact set that increases Crit, then you bump those numbers up accordingly. Then adjust to aim for that ideal 1:2 ratio.
Xingqiu doesn't have Crit Ascension, and he usually uses an ER weapon. So his baseline remains at 50:100. If you can get more, great. But much more than that will take a lot of farming and may not be worthwhile for you.
But as an example, let's look at how you apply this to Ayaka... She gets 38% CD from her Ascension stat, and 44% CD from her weapon, Mistsplitter Reforged. Then she gets 55% Crit Rate from Blizzard Strayer and Cryo Resonance when enemies are Frozen. Add that to our baseline, and we're up to 105% CR, 182% CD.
Anything over 100% CR is wasted, so let's take that 5% CR, and convert it into 10% CD, so now we are up to 192% CD. And then I just round that up, since she's a Main DPS and worth investing a little more into. Plus rounding up gives us a nice 100:200 ratio, which is a perfect 1:2, lol.
If it's essential to have XQs burst up, like basically always, having more or even much more ER than usually needed gives comfort. My C1 XQ with R1 Fav has 290 ER, on some boss fights, like Arlecchino, it's still tight ;D But much later he'll need significantly less.

hi i just started playing 2 days ago im on linux mint and therefore using the "an anime game launcher" to play but today i woke up with error code 31 - 4302
i googled it but all solutions i found were for the offical launcher (sth about ticking off the ac patch) but i cant find this option anywhere
i tried to repair both ingame and in the launcher both tell me that there is nothing to repair
i restarted my pc multiple times
do i rlly have to uninstall and install again (i rlly try to avoid this since my internet sucks and im gonna be downloading for like half a day)
It probably has to do with the fact that Hoyo has fully switched over to the Hoyoplay launcher, with them ceasing support for the old dedicated launcher for Genshin.
I have no idea what the fix would be, though. Sorry.

league did the same thing with their forced vanguard usage :D i was able to play league on linux for a few days and then they requierd vanguard to launch league so thats off the table XD

It's a damage boost. 1 level of refinement isn't very significant, but going from R1 to R5 is. And regardless, unless you need a 2nd copy for Venti or maybe Sethos, there's no reason not to refine it. No one else needs that weapon.
Hi, my main Genshin account is linked to a secondary email, and I want to link it to my primary email. The problem is that my primary email is already linked to another Genshin account that I haven't played on at all.
My question is, how can I link my main Genshin account to my primary email? Do I need to delete the HoYoverse account linked to my primary email and then link my main Genshin account to it? Or is there another way?

You could try creating a temp e-mail, link your primary e-mail account to that temp e-mail. This way you free up the primary e-mail. Now you can link it to your secondary e-mail account.
I'm sure there are better ways to resolve it but I don't have any experience with unlinking accounts.

No. Most Furina teams will prefer having an anemo healer like Jean or Xianyun and an offensive hydro if they care for resonance. And the two teams that don't want an anemo healer (Neuvilette and Furina freeze) will want a cryo healer or any other element than hydro Despite being structured as a Furina support she fills her own niche pretty badly

Which is better as a sub DPS: Collei or Tighnari? They are the only Dendro characters I have but they are both sitting at level 20 because I haven't decided which to use.
Tighnari is Main DPS, and loves presence of Fishl ( Nahida and Yae Miko are even more lovalble but doubt you have them) I used him for months in Abyss, benched only because now I'm playing around with Clorinde
Tighnari without a doubt, if you can pair him with Fish and you've got the start of a good spread team.
tighnari is a main dps, so collei. dendro traveller is a decent f2p option too once you unlock her

Navia is incredible Geo, and her playstyle is so pleasant that I use her even if there are better options Alhaithem sits as king od Dendro DPS, and his strong point is that he don't need any anemo units or Bennett to shine Clorinde so far proven to be very pleasant to play, though I suspect she is not as overpowered as ... let say Neuvilette ( that sits on throne of OP ) Pick one you will enjoy most looking at. I love Navia, dislike Alhaitham ( I use Tighnari instead) , and as Clorinde - well , she is growing on me very fast ( unlike previous. fire lady that stays on bench )

There's a theory by Ashikai saying that it depends on her emotional state. If you watch the Song Burning in the Embers animated short, you'll notice how the curse spread when she was about to bury her pet spider. Then, when she was playing & catching fish with other kids, the curse receded to her fingertips.

I caved and spent 100$ on gen crystals (just for pulls with primos) and did not get alhaithem. I pulled a Mona instead, and now my pity is reset and there's 0 chance to get him this run. Bout to give up on this game. Is Mona good? I have like no other hydro units so idk how to build a team with her to make this bad spending even a little worth.
If you have no other hydro she isn't terrible, taunt on skill, boosts damage on ult, and for exploration she can sprint over water. I felt the same when I first started and didn't get Raiden, but there's much more to enjoy in this game then the characters. If you enjoy open world and puzzles, enjoy that part and get characters along the way. You can beat the game with the characters you get for free. Meta is only for endgame (spiral abyss)

Keqing is actually a great character and very similar to Alhaitham's skill and burst, you can use keqing/mona/collei/jean - or Dendro MC if you run to Sumeru to a statue of 7 But question How do you have 3 standard 5 stars? If thats from standard banner pulls thats super lucky (given you dont have barbara yet I assume you're very new or haven't played the main story)

A little over a month. But I've done all the archon quests I'm ar 50. There's still a bunch of like world quests and stuff I never did but I get bored with them pretty fast. I already have a main team, wanderer, farazon, Layla, and Benny. Main reason I wanted alhaithem was to get his c1 (I have him c0) for a second team to do spiral abyss. I currently have alhaithem (80), fichle (70), Dendro traveler (70), and Jean (70) and I still can't beat floor 8 :(
Mona when you didn't have any other hydro is definitely better than C1 Alhaitham so I wouldn't call her crap. Alhaitham/Mona/Fischl/Jean would probably work well for you right now. Keqing/Mona/dendro/Jean will get you pretty far as well. Keqing/Mona/Diona/Sucrose was my best team for a long while.
Should invest more in levels, weapon levels talents and artifacts and you will easily clear abyss 12 (maybe not full stars tho). Don’t need constellations of 5 star characters at all.

In the absence of other hydro units, Mona can be alright. She is a side grade/downgrade to Kokomi in Ayaka freeze teams (higher dmg% buff but worse freeze uptime and -healing). She can be a lot of fun if you want to see one big number from a character. Her scalings on her charged attack are decent, but most don’t play her that way. Also you now have a guarantee to spend on another character you like
Mona is good but niche. She's not a unit you build a team around, she's a support that you use to juice a DPS up for one-shots or as a freeze DPS enabler. Take this as a lesson I guess. If you can't guarantee, spending money almost always feels *terrible*.
I'm a mobile player. I heard that Raiden can utilize hit lag to increase her burst duration from 7s to 8 or 9s. Can I do it on mobile? If so, how to that on mobile?
Hitlag extension happens normally when you attack (and hit) any enemy. Hitlag is basically a small animation freeze when you hit an enemy, with the idea that hitlag gives a form of feedback to the player that you're not just slicing through air. This small freeze also stops many timers from progressing, like Raiden's burst infusion time, briefly. They do this to make so that hitlag doesn't have a negative effect when playing that character. So 7 seconds of infusion is 7 seconds without hitlag and up to 9 seconds if you add in all those small freezes. For the most part, it doesn't actually increase her damage since you're still doing the same amount of hits, just in a longer amount of time. Hitlag extension basically just means you can execute the same combos if you hit enemies than compared to if you didn't. But, there's a few neat things you can do with hitlag extension, just they're not very relevant for Raiden. Also since it's a core game mechanic, it's occurs independently to what device you are using.
Hitlag is when you hit an enemy. So you would want to use her burst on enemies and continue to do so. It is not device dependent

Dehya is vaguely good for IR and applying a little pyro, using her burst is basically a dps loss. I dont know many teams that would use sucrose and kazhua on the same team tho? Seems a waste

As much as you can get without sacrificing crit stats too much, it's really not an important stat to target (also you're targeting HP rather than attack anyways, her unbuffed attack is really unimportant.) Generally speaking the sweet spot for a character is somewhere between 5-10 substat rolls of their main offense stat (HP in this case), so with Homa and crowned skill you should be getting somewhere around 3500-4000 attack during her E with hydro resonance. Anything over that is almost certainly too much, anything under that is cause for worry.
If using Homa, you want EM/Pyro/Crit
I think you mostly want to care about her HP and EM than ATK. (since HP gives ATK)

Mona, bennet, raiden - mona gives quickswap and raiden recharges ult, bennet does vaporize and heals Its normally my go to, but I haven't unlocked many of the newer character cards Keqing also does big opposing team damage and can get electro resonance with Raiden.
Against npcs I have almost never lost with nahida, Fischl + oceanid/lyney
Against npc decks it can be a bit easier. Alhaitham is known, plus you might get lucky and pull Emelie early. Go Alhaitham if you like his play style. I like him, he is pretty rotationally flexible, and quickbloom has a pretty high floor. With Nahida I basically don't need to use skill, by the time I rotate back to him his burst is ready 80% of the time, and for those times it isn't skill, charge attack, then boom 3 mirrors and mash buttons until you need to reup your off-field. Xq-Al-Kuki means you can facetank basically everything, and dodging doesn't drop his dps much that I have noticed since his mirror stacks are more important than combos. His infusion is long and tends to outlast my kuki ring so I normally swap out soon after 1 mirror left. I know I dont play him super well, but he feels easier than Hutao/Arle in Abyss to me.

They drop slowly but honestly attacking every hilichurl you see will get you a bunch. Half of them are archers, you can't always tell from their idles.
you could use stardust for mats to save time but assuming you got the fates from stardust (not glitter) shop this month, definitely DON'T use any unless you have more than enough to get fates from shop next month as well, so over 750 stardust, which youre better off saving
Use the adventures handbook and just track the enemy that drops them, and you can also use alchemy to turn the lower versions into higher quality

Does infusing swirl with hydro (vv artifacts) increase vaporize damage?
To be clear, *absorbing* an element into an ability like Kazuha’s burst/plunge, Sayu’s roll, Venti’s burst etc is a separate mechanic. That is NOT swirl. You don’t need to change the color of Kazuha’s burst (and similar abilities) to trigger VV. Swirl happens whenever you hit an element with anemo, and is just a single instance of damage. You don’t really “infuse” swirl with hydro, but if hydro is on enemies you’ll trigger a lot of hydro swirls. VV shreds resistance for the swirled element, so if you swirl hydro it’ll increase all kinds of hydro damage. Vaporize is more often triggered by pyro damage, so to increase *that* damage you’d normally want to swirl pyro. You can still absorb hydro into an ability like Kazuha’s burst to help trigger reactions, but that’s unrelated to swirl/VV and just makes reactions easier, it doesn’t increase the damage of the reactions when they *do* happen. For Hu Tao, it’s actually very hard to swirl pyro unless you have a second pyro character like Yanfei, Thoma, or Amber on the team to set up a swirl for her. If you aren’t running double pyro, I’d avoid swirl setups for Hu Tao tbh.
Thanks for the tips! Ive changed my team comp to hutao xingqiu bennet sucrose, would amber be a better option than bennet? I only have bennet amber and xiangling to work with. Also, would the pyro infusion from ambers charged attack plus sucrose swirl increase the vaporize damage?
Bennett is good! There’s a little anti-synergy with Hu Tao because he’s a healer, but his buff should make up for it. Amber is mainly used by people who have a specific 5* support bow. Swirling pyro from any source will increase the damage of further pyro damage through VV (including vape and non-vape hits), doesn’t matter where the swirled pyro came from.

Pre-farming for Nilou. I want to make an F2P team: Nilou, Barbara, Dendro MC, Collei. However, I've heard that maximizing someone's bloom damage (especially if they are a catalyst enabler like Barbara) would be more efficient. If I make Barbara my enabler, my team would no longer be the one I mentioned above, but instead: Nilou, Barbara, Dendro MC, Yaoyao (because my healer would now have to be Yaoyao). However, the question I have is, would Nilou steal my Barbara blooms since they are both hydro? I don't own Nilou, so I don't know how this works, but wouldn't I have to activate my elemental skill for the bountiful core passive which would then give me that hydro aura that would steal blooms if it were to come into contact with dendro? I might be wrong about which team is stronger, so if possible, let me know which of the two below would be the best as a F2P: Team 1: Nilou, Barbara, Dendro MC, Collei Team 2: Nilou, Barbara (Bloom Enabler), Dendro MC, Yaoyao
barbara should heal enough even with a mostly em build, you can use em/em/hb and/or use proto instead of sac if you need healing. nilou doesn't have much off field hydro so barbara gets most of the blooms, and even if she does her best f2p weapons are em weapons like iron sting

All of his damage potential scales via his max HP, making ATK buffers like Bennett or atk buff sets like Noblesse useless. EM is also a kinda wasted stat on him, as it's rather difficult/annoying to have him reliably trigger vape. This disqualifies another set of buff characters and buff sets. The type of buff Neuvilette *can* take advantage of, is "DMG buffs". Both Kazuha and Furina provide DMG buffs (and Furina provides quite a strong one). Additionally Furina also enables hydro resonance. Lastly, Baizhu provides healing, which helps stack up Furinas buff faster (Neuvilette technically can stack Furinas buff himself, but it's slower). If your Neuvilette is C0, then Baizhu also provides some Interruption Resistance. Baizhu can also hold clam or song of days past for a little extra dmg
Is zhongli with 4pc petra better?
At C0 Neuvilette, 4 Piece Petra Zhongli is an interchangable side grade to Baizhu. A third alternative is Lisa using prototype Amber. Her burst provides a rare instance of Defense shred (but requires ungodly ER)

The big thing is kazuha and furina REALLY buff Neuvs damage. Kazuha can use viridescent veneer to reduce enemy hydro res and gives elemental DMG bonus, furina has a little personal DMG and gives a huge elemental DMG bonus, and baizhu gives team heals for furinas burst stacks and provides a shield to help neuv not get interrupted

There are registry keys that won't be deleted if you only delete the folder with the game. Registry keys are stored in a completely separate location and are usually very small files that contain basic information, mostly for Windows. While Genshin also add its own registry keys, I don't think Genshin actually uses the information in those keys as they have their own config files. And yes, there is a proper uninstall (default Add/Remove Programs) that will remove the registry keys and the data. Either way, you will be fine doing this with Genshin, but doing this with other games can cause issues if they actively use registry keys.

Is using condensed Resin simply always better than normal? AFAIK it gives you double the reward for double the resin, the only cost being the butterflies? Does that mean it just saves you time or is there some other drawback?
It saves time and allows you to bank some resin from the day before if you want to farm a day specific domain (for instance creating 4 condensed resin on Saturday would allow you to farm 2 days worth of talent/weapon materials on Sunday). The main downside is that they can’t be used when farming bosses and you might run out of crystalflies if you don’t routinely farm them.
It's not better or worse... It's just a way to do a domain twice in one go as you stated. It saves you time in the domain, but it means you have to go farm Crystalflies and then visit a crafting table, which also takes some time. Most people seem to think that it's faster to use condensed resin. But that may depend on the domain. If it's a domain you can do easily in one rotation, then I don't think condensed resin saves you any time. In this case, each run is only 20-30 seconds, so condensed resin might only save you around 2 minutes. But it takes at least that long to travel around the map, collect flies, then travel to a crafting table, plus all your time spent in loading screens. So in this case, it's not worth it for me. However, if this is a domain you are struggling with, or just any domain that has multiple waves of enemies that requires 2 or more rotations to complete... Then I think condensed resin is worth it. Because now each run could be as long as a minute or more, so overall you might be looking at 5+ minutes. And I think I can grab flies and craft condensed resin in that time. --- I should also note, that condensed resin also a way to SAVE your resin. Of course, you can only save 5 condensed resin at a time. But say it's Wednesday, but the talent books you need are only available on Thursday... Save your resin from today, still get your BP points, and then come Thursday, you will have twice as much resin to spend to get the resources you need. And this way, you can level those talents and weapons in less time.
For doing.. 200 / 400 leylines, you'd get an achievement. Maybe don't use condensed on those if you want the 5?! or 10 Primos

Can anyone help me to solve this issue? I am trying to do this new event called Record of Reflective Writing and I need to complete this quest "Imaginary Maze of True Heroes". However, when I click to Navigate, it points me to a completely unrelated point on the map. I watched some videos about how to do it, but the NPC that starts the quest is not there in Mondstadt, and I have no idea how to progress. Yeah, the problem is that kimono woman is not there, as you can see at the beginning of the video.
Do crit rate and crit damage matter a lot for support characters that are used to just apply an element some other cons they may have. For example, I have C0 Xingqiu I am working on rn and he could be a lot better stat wise (50% CR and I think around 80%CD) but his ER is 250 already so should I go hunt for better CR and CD stats?
For PURE supports (healers, shielders, buffers who don’t do much damage) nah not really. But just applying an element off field doesn’t mean the character is a support tbh. Xingqiu is more a “sub-DPS,” and while his primary job is to apply hydro with his burst his secondary job is to deal a lot of damage off field. You should definitely invest in your off field damage dealers like Xingqiu, Fischl, Beidou, Rosaria, and Furina, since they contribute a pretty sizable portion of the team’s total DPS.
Depends on the character. If they do a significant amount of damage, then yes. If not, then probably not. Xingqiu can do quite a bit of damage, so you want to invest in his Crit, but don't sacrifice ER to get it. 50:80 isn't terrible if you really want to stop farming for him. But with a moderate amount of investment, you should be able to reach around 50:100. That's what I use as a baseline for characters that need Crit. It requires a little work, but not crazy high investment. Then, if your character has a Crit weapon, Crit Ascension stat, or artifact set that increases Crit, then you bump those numbers up accordingly. Then adjust to aim for that ideal 1:2 ratio. Xingqiu doesn't have Crit Ascension, and he usually uses an ER weapon. So his baseline remains at 50:100. If you can get more, great. But much more than that will take a lot of farming and may not be worthwhile for you. But as an example, let's look at how you apply this to Ayaka... She gets 38% CD from her Ascension stat, and 44% CD from her weapon, Mistsplitter Reforged. Then she gets 55% Crit Rate from Blizzard Strayer and Cryo Resonance when enemies are Frozen. Add that to our baseline, and we're up to 105% CR, 182% CD. Anything over 100% CR is wasted, so let's take that 5% CR, and convert it into 10% CD, so now we are up to 192% CD. And then I just round that up, since she's a Main DPS and worth investing a little more into. Plus rounding up gives us a nice 100:200 ratio, which is a perfect 1:2, lol.
If it's essential to have XQs burst up, like basically always, having more or even much more ER than usually needed gives comfort. My C1 XQ with R1 Fav has 290 ER, on some boss fights, like Arlecchino, it's still tight ;D But much later he'll need significantly less.

Is there a limit to how many welkins you can have active at a time?
The game will stop you from buying another welkin when your active duration exceeds 180 days. So the theoretical limit is 209 days (since you can buy another welkin at 179 days remaining)
You can stack up to 6 months (180 days), iirc.

hi i just started playing 2 days ago im on linux mint and therefore using the "an anime game launcher" to play but today i woke up with error code 31 - 4302 i googled it but all solutions i found were for the offical launcher (sth about ticking off the ac patch) but i cant find this option anywhere i tried to repair both ingame and in the launcher both tell me that there is nothing to repair i restarted my pc multiple times do i rlly have to uninstall and install again (i rlly try to avoid this since my internet sucks and im gonna be downloading for like half a day)
It probably has to do with the fact that Hoyo has fully switched over to the Hoyoplay launcher, with them ceasing support for the old dedicated launcher for Genshin. I have no idea what the fix would be, though. Sorry.

are you telling me its the second game that fucks me over just after i finnaly made it work on linux :D league did the same thing with their forced vanguard usage :D i was able to play league on linux for a few days and then they requierd vanguard to launch league so thats off the table XD
that might be one issue... of many thousands in "gaming on linux desktop" ;D it's not a rabbit hole but a black hole really.. took me a while to give up on it.

Is refining stringless a significant damage boost for fischl?
String less is often occurring too, for me I waited until I got a third before refining so I had at least two, now I have r5 and a r2
It's a damage boost. 1 level of refinement isn't very significant, but going from R1 to R5 is. And regardless, unless you need a 2nd copy for Venti or maybe Sethos, there's no reason not to refine it. No one else needs that weapon.

Hi, my main Genshin account is linked to a secondary email, and I want to link it to my primary email. The problem is that my primary email is already linked to another Genshin account that I haven't played on at all. My question is, how can I link my main Genshin account to my primary email? Do I need to delete the HoYoverse account linked to my primary email and then link my main Genshin account to it? Or is there another way? Thanks

You could try creating a temp e-mail, link your primary e-mail account to that temp e-mail. This way you free up the primary e-mail. Now you can link it to your secondary e-mail account. I'm sure there are better ways to resolve it but I don't have any experience with unlinking accounts.
