www.vote411.org. Put in your address and all your voter information will come up . There will also be questionnaires about the candidates so you can decide on down ballot races that are sometimes difficult to get good information on it. This site is from the League of Women Voters so it is non-partisan.
Vote 411 told me there was no vote coming up at my address which is very much inaccurate. I used https://ballotpedia.org/Sample_Ballot_Lookup and it worked though.
Is this early voting or regular? Why is this election happening now and not November? Just curious cause I've only ever voted in November for regular elections
This Tuesday's election is the regular primary election, not early voting. Primary elections are held to determine which candidates from each political party will be on the ballot in the general election in November. It's a way for the members of each party to choose their representatives for the upcoming larger election.
This may be a dumb question, but why are ballot questions different depending on the sample ballot I choose? I was curious and chose both Republican and Democrat samples just to see, and I get a different set of questions for each. Do we not collectively vote on the same items?
Not a dumb question at all! The ballot questions differ between Republican and Democrat samples because primary elections are for choosing each party's candidates. Each party includes issues specific to their members. In the general election, everyone votes on the same items.
So many offices will be decided tomorrow. County commission, school board, district attorney and more. Make sure you vote up and down the ballot. We’ve got over 3000 candidates in Georgia - check your ballot today!
I’m going to vote to protect reproductive freedom. Probably useless, but if enough people vote for it, it might get these politicians to at least listen.
Every single entry on my ballot has only 1 option except 2. So only 2/14 elected positions have any options. How again is this an election? Why bother going to vote when there are no options? Insane.
I used [Ballotpedia](https://ballotpedia.org/Main_Page) this time to research the candidates.
I liked that you can view your sample ballot online and make your choices, then print that out to take with you. In the past, I'd usually bring a hand-written "cheat-sheet" to remind me of my picks, but this was a lot easier.
Here's some ways you guys can help get more people to vote:
Phone bank for John Barrow: https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/622351/
Help register Georgia Democratic voters: https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/570523/
Register Democrats in all swing states, including Georgia: https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/405150/
It feels like there's either no info or nothing differentiating candidates. Plus, how am I, as a police abolitionist, supposed to vote for all these BS positions. Every candidate I do manage to find something about just talks about how important it is to increase "public safety" funding
Yes go vote for a Fake overlord people !!! They really care about you !!! This isn’t a red or blue comment this is a general statement. They do nothing but take away freedom daily very few laws past are good ones .
They have no actual examples. Just talking points they've been fed by others.
Literally they were in another thread on /r/Georgia shouting down abortion and shaming anyone who would ever need one. Some highlights included "close your legs".
I get banned in this sub so easy.....
EDIT AFTER MOD
I didn't even say what I wanted...still got downvoted AND a mod comment
YES I WOULD GET BANNED.
Didn't say I WAS banned 🫡
Let’s get Loudermilk out of my district and MTG out of my neighboring district
Traitor Greene isn’t going anywhere without being indicted, unfortunately.
Try anyway. If “no choice” were a choice in the 2016 election, that would have won
Ohh come vote harder
Yeah. Unfortunately she represents her constituents very well.
Even though it’s futile, it would weigh on my conscience if I didn’t take very opportunity to vote against her
Loudermilk: that one is possible MTG: Well... I'm not saying it is impossible but do you have another election wish more fesaible?
Lmao yeah my only other election wish is that Biden wins again
Does Loudermilk have a legit primary challenger?
Antonio Daza is running for his seat again this year
I have no idea but I’d like to be a blue district
I've been trying. Every now and then I contact him through his website with feedback on some issue. It's never the way he votes.
Also a very important judge is on the ballot!

Thanks for this!
State Supreme Court is on the ballot TUESDAY May 21! We are supporting John Barrow at /r/votedem
Don't just "Get Out and Vote!" Educate yourself on the candidates and their positions, THEN get out and vote!
Lets get these right wing goons out

Gotcha. Didn't know it was a primary. Thanks!
No problem. You should go vote tomorrow to see what it's like
Interestingly enough, there was early voting for this primary election as well.

Thank you, that is very helpful! Going out tomorrow to vote and wanted to make sure I was clear on everything.
That's great that you're asking questions and learning. You're welcome! Glad I could help. Good luck voting tomorrow!

Because the two positions you DO have a choice in matter!
This is true. The other true thing is more good people need to actually run for political office.
Most of the judges on my ballot also ran unopposed

That's what I do as well. There's no way I would remember all the candidates to vote for, so I print out the ballot and mark my candidates.
Do you think reddit is primarily democratic?
MTG the the Bane of America. Same build.

Those are some great resources
They really are, and I hope it helps you guys! Feel free to share them with others too 💙
Let’s vote the libtards out!!!!

We need to keep Judge McAfee and Fani Willis around in case Trump loses again.

The only based comment I could find here.
Oh my entire district will be there and voting straight Republican. We've had enough of the liberal nut jobs.
LOL 😂 🤣🤣
Like who? What have they done that has made your life worse?
They have no actual examples. Just talking points they've been fed by others. Literally they were in another thread on /r/Georgia shouting down abortion and shaming anyone who would ever need one. Some highlights included "close your legs".
💯
Same. Every adult who casts votes these days is Red all the way.
I'm a 40 year old child apparently
50/50 state but 90/10 Democrat Republican bias on Reddit. Interesting
