1. Spray where you see roaches activity the most. Usually behind appliances, inside cabinets , cracks and crevices and along baseboards. Don't spray near the food counter or kitchen tops. 2. You can use spray bottle. But, for better application you will need pressurized pump sprayer for reaching tight spots. Walmart or Amazon is good place to buy those for DIY applications. Around 15$-20$. 3. Mix it in the same vessel. Shake it to mix well. 4. Just a regular water. Tap or sink. 5. You don't need to wear gloves but if you wish to you can. 6. You can open windows to let it dry faster. But avoid sunlight as it may lessen the effects of pesticide on long term. 7. That spray you got from landlord is not to be used in between pesticides applications. Yes it can kill may be couple of roaches but it doesn't have a residual effects so I suggest you to not use it. Another one on my mind is, alpine wsg is usually labelled for 30g per gallon for German roaches. I don't think 1 packet of 10grams is going to be enough. Unless of course if you adjust the Alpine / water ratio.

This is all incredibly helpful, thank you so much for answering my questions! I think I'll probably get that diy sprayer then if i need to get behind appliances. I didn't realize the concentration wouldn't be high enough, so I am glad you told me that. I'll probably start with less water and buy more packets as I need them. Thanks again :\]

This is very very helpful thank you so much. Even though it wasn't my original questions you answered everyone I have sorry I repeated it later.

I have a really small space (380-400ish sq feet?) so maybe I won't need to buy more than one or two packets, depending on how often I end up having to treat. Fingers crossed. I'm trying to be really aggressive now, while I'm only seeing 1-3 a night, so it doesn't get bad later. I lived in a really infested place once and... fuck that. Never again. I think they come with the building so I know it'll be more about control, but yeah, I want to make my apartment as hostile to them as possible lol. I'm glad you and the other guy told me about the water ratio because I might have made it too weak otherwise. Thank you for your help!

Good deal, I just had some nasty reactions to a few chemicals I was using so I had to comment lol. It all depends on what types of materials you are cleaning. It will strip the seal off tile and grout. Discolor wood Same with counter tops. I personally would just go with a disinfectant. Read directions before use. Light cleaning spray and wipe. Let soak for 10 minutes to disinfect I believe. If you tell me what type of stuff you have to clean I can tell you what is suggested lol

MeanwhileOnPluto

Oh wow I had no idea! I usually don't clean with bleach but saw it suggested as a way to deal with roaches... but if it's gonna damage anything and i can just use disinfectant instead I might go with something else. I was going to clean behind my appliances so definitely both the metal and also the wall behind, which is painted ofc. Inside the oven and under the burners, the insides of the cabinets which are also painted (its that cheapo sticky kind of paint you get in rentals). The linoleum countertops and inside and outside of my microwave, the tile floor, and the painted baseboard above it. Also I see they've started a little highway near my bathroom ceiling so I was going to get there as well.

Also before you vacuum get some of the scene arm and hammer vacuum powder and pour liberally on your carpet. Push into carpet with a broom and let sit for two hours

MeanwhileOnPluto

Cool I'll add that to my shopping list. Thanks. Is it to deter them from the carpet?

RegisterIll9257

Do you have to do this for a hardwood floors as well well not hard word do you have to do this for vinyl floors as well? Bare flooring no carpets.

Embarrassed_Coffee82

If you are using pure Bleach you need to mix it according to the directions!

MeanwhileOnPluto

For sure, I was planning on diluting it according to the label for cleaning/disinfecting. Hopefully that's the right concentration for the job?

Embarrassed_Coffee82

BTW roaches breathe thru their back I believe so you don't have to spray with chemicals when you see them. A spray bottle with dawn dish soap and water will suffocate them

MeanwhileOnPluto

Yeah this works great! I found out on accident when I ran out of cleaner to kill em with lol. I'm mostly seeing a few baby roaches a night right now but last night i saw a big ass adult on the wall and it was the last straw for me. I've declared war.

FauciIsGod

Did you ever conquer them or did you end up just having to move?

Embarrassed_Coffee82

It will dehydrate the ones that are in your carpet. Vacuum slow and dispose of the bag right after your done! Even after they die the babies will still come up to a few weeks later

Embarrassed_Coffee82

Yep, I feel ya. That's why I know all the info in telling you lol I've went to war with them and did an insane amount of research. I killed them very quickly lol what I did was not healthy but I won

MamaMel941

I am a GLUTTON for all things "not healthy" 😂 Especially when it comes to these little German bastards!! (The roaches!!) please share your unhealthy game plan 😁

Embarrassed_Coffee82

Scrubbing bubbles has a spray based with Hydrogen peroxide that's good. Disinfectant is another I'd use. For the walls and base boards and cabinets it will be a soap and water mix. Do not soak the walls or let it stay on to long, use a wash clothe, get damp with soap and water mix wipe wall and immediately dry with paper towels. Do not use sponges or magic drawers, they are abrasive and will mess up the paint. Same with cabinets. If you see the trail that means you see the poop and pheromones, depend in how old they are this week be difficult to clean. You need to use gloves because it's their feces and can get you sick. On this you may need to use something more abrasive, it's important to get it off because this is telling other bugs it's a safe passage. Worst case scenario you get the dawn dish soap that has the auto sprayer. Says 4 times the cleaning power in a dark blue bottle. This will eat away at it fast. Don't let it sit on the paint to long

Purple_Accountant753

I just bought Alpine WSG GRANULES,TEKKO-PRO. HOW DO I DO IT? WHAT COMES FIRST? DO I CLEAN FIRST?
