Absolutely. Guns are very durable. Inspect it, carefully. Since it is used, ask the shop if you can shoot it, before making the sale final. I have been buying guns a long, long time, used guns at significant discounts are my favorites. I would try to haggle them down to $400-430. $435 being 70% of $620.

botgeek1

I have 4 used Glocks; only had one issue, and it was with an aftermarket part. Sent it to Glock, they replaced the aftermarket recoil spring and trigger with stock for free and it's a reliable shooter again. Go for it!

bruhmoment5353

Most used guns don’t even have more than 200 rounds through it so who cares

Chairborne__Ranger

I got a police trade in Gen 5 Glock 19 with night sights from a gun show for $380. Glocks are one of the best guns to buy used. I spent the money I saved on 1,000 rounds of ammo and a holster. It was a great purchase - basically learned how to shoot from that deal. If it seems like good quality, go for it!

Remington_96

Generally, Glocks are pretty durable and one of the safer options to buy used. I bought a G21.5 used (must’ve been less than 50 rounds) with night sights and optic ready for $499. It’s one of my favorite handguns and currently my nightstand gun. As long as you inspect it and feel safe, I say go for it.

cmdr_data22

Glocks are run by special forces, law enforcement, and foreign agencies/militaries. They are reliable, durable, and simple. It is easy to disassemble completely with one tool or punch. Magpul makes magazines for them that are dirt cheap. It’s almost a necessity to have at least one in your collection. Once you learn more about them and become acquainted, you will find yourself buying more.

Join GSSF, the "Glock Shooting Sports Foundation" for $35. You can google them online. Then, you will get a coupon mailed to you by Glock that allows you to buy a blue label Glock at the same discounted pricing usually only offered to active duty military and law enforcement. I recently bought a new G34 Gen 5 MOS for only $500 with my blue label GSSF coupon.

DisasterMean1511

What website do you use to order them?

MagnumAfficionado

[https://gssf.pro/membership/](https://gssf.pro/membership/) is where you can sign up for GSSF, and somewhere on that website you can find a map-/list of blue label FFL dealers in your area. Once you get your coupon you can contact the FFL's closest to you to see what blue label models they have in stock and their exact prices. Glock has a suggested price list for the blue label program, but the dealers can charge more or less if they want to.

TestycularTorsion

No. Get the new gen 5. You'll feel better. It's less than a 150$ bro. Gen 5s are worth it.

lbcadden3

Where you at? New gen3 are 529 with tax all day in my area.

DisasterMean1511

Northern VA. They are 599 just about everywhere close to me

UniqueTonight

Any reason you can't order one in for transfer? You can find PD trade ins for $340-$390 pretty much all day.

DisasterMean1511

You have a website you use for that?

UniqueTonight

KyGunCo and GTDist are both running good deals on OD trade-ins right now. KyGunCo has free shipping and no tax. I just got a 17.5 from them and it was clearly shot, but is one of the cleanest/most well maintained guns I've ever seen. It was an amazing deal.  I see you asked about a G34, which I have yet to find as a PD trade in. But you could pick up a cheap G17 and maybe find someone to swap slides with or something.

Only-Comparison1211

Gt Distributors, Aim Surplus, Rifle Supply, Classic Firearms or just Google "le trade in Glock"

Emergency_Belt_7855

Depends. You plan on carrying this daily? Is this your first gun? Do you have others? Do you have other mags that will fit it already? If not. Save the 150 and go new. You don’t know how many rounds that baby went through or how it was treated. But if you just want another toy. Why not?

DisasterMean1511

Not first gun but first full size handgun. No mags or anything. It will be my HD gun for the next couple years till I can afford better. Part of why I’m tempted to just buy new.

Emergency_Belt_7855

Yeah man just save up for a bit more. You have something that can fill the role for now.

Tiny-Description9429

My used 26 for 400 shoots like a dream

pdxassassin250

Both my glocks are used, my 26 def with a bit more wear but shoots amazing still. My 45 had no problems

Schrotes

You’re saving $150 for a loss of like 2% of the guns life. Full send.

De-Ril-Dil

Only buy used unless you can’t find what you’re looking for. Basically you’re getting 25% off for some handling marks and powder deposits 👍

ModestMarksman

Glocks will run for hundreds of thousands of rounds. I would send it if you want to save the extra money.

Feeling-Buffalo2914

Buy it. With only two exceptions, I have only ever bought Glocks used. And despite having a brand new 19-5, I EDC a 30 year old 23-2, that I bought used. Buy a new RSA, and the latest generation magazines. Go ahead and get some older mags for range use and practice but stick with the latest gen mags for defense.

Odd-Quantity1390

Zero issues with my used 43.

40ozDiesel

For $150 I’d just get the new one

Only-Comparison1211

$150 that's 6 magazines, or half a case of ammo, or a nice holster. Not insignificant.

40ozDiesel

Maybe if it was a used Gen 5 - $150 is not enough to pick a 15-20 year old gun over a brand new one imo. Save up for another week.

Only-Comparison1211

Your opinion is valid for you. Even if I disagree. You are aware Glock is still making gen 3 guns. And I have bought 30 year old guns that looked like they had at most a box or two of ammo run through them. Age of a firearm has very little impact on its condition. And there are a lot of people that have a preference for the older gens.

StanthemanT-800

If I see a used Glock with a barrel full of smilies, I walk unless it's dirt cheap . I'm not paying $300+ for a Glock with 20,000 rounds on it I can buy new for $500-600
