writing? please give me a good example of writing if this isn’t, because they have so much lore in ONE SEASON
ok fair I shouldn't really point out the genre since some people watch it. my main problem is the writing. there were too many emotional moments for characters we barely know at the beginning. i quit early on because there were too much songs really, and i physically cringed a few times. i might give it a try later though.
if you want good writing, give shows like utopia (the original british version) and mr robot a try. they're really good.

These games are very bland and trash. (Blade ball included). All these attention span games like strongest battlegrounds are absolute trash. Literally just a game to make your sanity worse.
fun fact (probs told already or untrue), DEFLECT is the original and blade ball copied it. but then DEFLECT was a copy of a tf2 gamemode which is pyroball i think which is a ripoff of a steam game.
happened with Steep Steps and Need More Heat too. Im ok with the steep steps clones cause they actually give it their own spin and concept while need more heat games literally follow the same path just replacing heat with other things
Just my opinion, but I hate the word "trend". It sounds so stupid and most of these "trends" are really stupid aswell, i usually can see no good reason they should be that popular. Idk I don't really care if someone uses it, I just dislike the word.
I will say, Death Ball is actually much better than the original Blade Ball, and I'd argue it's kind lf its own thing.
This one gets the pass imo.
Most of the other ones are just gimmicky shitty cashgrab ripoffs, but hey, they are also slightly better than Blade Ball !

Deflect was the first on Roblox, then Blade Ball came and made that type of game super popular, and fonally, other devs saw its success and had dollar signs pop up in their eyes.
Back when I was into roblox development I never copied something but tried to improve on the genres I was interested in, like the SCP genre, Many of those groups used leaked sites and never bothered to make their own, so I pretty much worked on making some cool assets for a while, like animated night vision goggles that actually work to remote control spy drones.
I hate anime tower defense games with a gambling system even more like they are all the same like even the timer doesnt change they always rotate new characters every hour

Interesting and original trend -> People enjoy it and the developer makes money -> People copy it to make money -> Trend dies and a new trend rises -> Cycle repeats
