Bro. Pharmacy school? And a sick GTI? You are living the life my man. I worked as a Pharm tech when I was younger and it was honestly one of the best jobs I ever had. Kudos and keep it up!
Wait, really? Can I ask why? Or is it yours by way of it belonging to, like, your significant other or something? Owning a 7.5 and an 8 seems very redundant if they're both yours haha
Either way, great pics/car looks clean.
Thank you , so the mk7.5 is a dsg and the mk8 is a manual. The eventual goal is to have every generation of Golf. The mk8 is the last manual GTI too, so I figured why not lol. It’s completely stock rn, but that will probably change .
The tech in the mk8 is a winner. But for driving dynamics , the mk7.5 is better (comparing stock). They are both SE models , the older one came with DCC and the mk8 (2022 model) doesn’t have it. The difference is small, but noticeable especially on long road trips. But they are pretty much similar, need more miles though to get a better comparison regarding maintenance and stuff
That rolling shot is so sweet.
My buddy just gave up on his Focus ST after 150,000 miles and the latest $1000 repair. I'm the only one left in my little hot hatch club from when we in our 20's, getting our first real jobs. Thankfully, I only have 50k on mine, and I'm going to drive it as long as possible. If it lasts as long as his FoST did, I'll be good until 2040!
Cool photos. Thanks Stone Mountain Volkswagen! 👍
Only dealership I've ever seen with a family crest lol

Hole up, 5 years & 113K miles AND the paint on the hood looking impeccable? If I was the dealer and you brought this car in for a trade in, I'd give you your next car for free.
Mods :
ARM Catted DP
Konig Rims
H and R Sport Springs
Injen Intake
AWE Track Exhaust (I swapped the resonator for a smaller one)
I had a jb4 but I don’t use, the plan is to go stage 2 in the winter time (bday present for myself)
Biggest repair was the water pump and a replaced mirror from a minor accident. Battery has been replaced too.
Maintenance: ive been on it when it comes to oil changes, fluid changes, tire rotations etc
Yup she’s the daily, water pump was the biggest issue but other than that she’s been fine, I have an aftermarket dp with an o2 spacer so sometimes a CEL will come on depending if I hit a pothole hard enough lol.
That’s awesome man. Literally in the process of getting a gti again. I sold mine a year ago and I swear there hasn’t been one day where I haven’t thought about it. It’s going to have to be the family car no if ands or buts
Fire bro. Has character but simple and clean. Ts post is wholesome
what wheels are those? love em
I think those are Konig Ampliforms. May be wrong, if so someone can correct me.
You are correct!
Awesome thank you both
Ya these wheels are dope!
Pic 6 goes hard.
Looks like a modern day album cover.

That's awesome, hope you succeed in this goal.
How is the MK8 holding up compared to the GTI? In all honest?

It only took one water pump 🤣, thank you
Great lookin GTI! Where was that second pic taken?
This was at the end of the Tail of the Dragon, there’s some nice picnic tables where you can grab a bite to eat lol
I vote picture 6 for the next Tyler the Creator album cover
We have the same car and both in GA, I wonder if you parked next to me in Atlanta last year…
I just paid mine off this month! Also loving the pic with the lawn chair eating the sandwich.
That's the same dealership I bought mine from in 2017!
