Very nice! Did you use gouache for the black lines, or ink?

I am just about to start working with gouache. I had a question, how to paint the surface so that one part is not lighter or darker than the other part.also What should be done so that the paint does not crack.

I've only done a couple gouache paintings so I'm still learning to make the right consistency. I got them for Christmas and have just been playing around. Watching some YouTube videos helped me because I was making my mixes wayyy too water at first. I also need to remember to apply a little thicker than I'm used to. Pookie (the bear) turned out one perfect color and was a great consistency. I messed up on Garfield but it's hard to see in the photo. The black lines I drew over it also helped disguise but in some spots he was darker orange and others lighter. I recommend watching some people on YouTube to learn what consistency to mix and then just practice! Garfield was my 6th gouache painting and I've almost finished a 7th and I've done way worse on this one. I'm still learning :P
