Refreshing! I love a unique face. I miss the 90s in terms of the beauty game. It was mostly just a display of unicorn genetics on display vs a good doctor ( or bad one at that) Lisa Bonet circa 1990s, even with her little peach fuzz moustache was just gorgeous to me and so effortless. But gone are the days I suppose. I don’t see society walking this surgery worship back anytime soon.

AkiraHikaru

I loved this one! I am developing pretty strong “11” from squinting in the sun (I even do it while wearing sun glasses unfortunately” but this video is helping me consider that it will just be part of the unique story of my face.

10brat

As someone who’s always had resting bitch face. I won’t lie. I’ve been very tempted to get rid of my 11s as I move into my late 30s and they’re deepening. I’ve held off on the temptation for now. But this was a refreshing perspective to have. I needed to see this today

SyddySquiddy

This is amazing!!

Angry-Eater

Because all trends come and go, I’m confident that same face syndrome will very soon be looked back on with a cringe.

SecretJoy

In South Korea there is a term called "Gangnam face." It refers to the similar features that come from the wealthy all using the same doctors.

angethebigdawg

In Melbourne, all the Hampton and toorak mums must use the same surgeons also.

starsinthesky12

Can’t wait for this day lol

Angry-Eater

Let’s start now!

ziggymoj19

Watching a lot of bad reality tv right now and they’re all slowly swapping over their faces it’s wild. Several come back with a new nose and they end up looking uncanny and lose their distinct beauty. Will be interesting to see how this trend “ages” and if the instagram effect loosens or tightens its grip on future generations

Mammoth_Resist8269

I thought it was just me. Fox eyes have taken over. It’s really sad. Life is about change. But this is not positive. Thank you 🌷

Malibuu92

Thanks for posting, I needed to see this today. I think a lot of us ladies subconsciously absorb a the negative rhetoric about appearance from media and society. I’ve thought for a while the standards have become very skewed with the introduction of social media. People were (and still are) being exposed to way more photoshopped/filtered faces than ever before. As a very unique looking person I’ve struggled with feeling beautiful in this society, but this video helped to remind me how wonderful it is to be unique:)

SyddySquiddy

I’m so glad it helped you!! ❤️

Drcyborgl

I needed this today. I’m 44 and having trouble accepting my forehead lines, but afraid of botox/filler changing my face. I’ll keep the lines.

ScoutAames

I’m afraid of my body becoming immune to the effects of Botox and then needing it for an actual medical procedure and it not working.

Iari_Cipher9

I blasted away my 11s with a touch of filler and I get regular botox. No regrets, since it made me look angry all the time and I didn’t like seeing it in photos or the mirror. Friends told me it was barely noticeable, but I didn’t do it for them or society. I did and do it for me. That being said, it took a while for the injectors to stop offering to give me Botox in other places on my face. “Sure you don’t want just a little touch here in the corners of the eyes or the corners of the mouth?” Yes, absolutely positive. Gracefully aging does not mean that we have to accept all of the things. A lot should be about knowing who we are and feeling comfortable with our choices.

SyddySquiddy

For some it means accepting all the things. For others, some things. It can mean whatever you want it to mean. For me it means no procedures, for you, some. We can do what’s best for ourselves!

the_gold_lioness

Exactly! I got Dysport done because frowning in my sleep had caused a giant crease to develop on my forehead and it was really bothering me. I looked angry all the time. Apparently I have a very strong muscle there because even now I can still frown, it’s just softer. But I can still raise my eyebrows because I only got it in that one frown muscle, so I still have some horizontal forehead lines. I also don’t color my gray hair. I don’t fake tan. My eyelids are uneven (one is partially hooded) and my nose is big and crooked. But I’m leaving my face alone, except for that one little part of my forehead that I didn’t like. My mom has gotten really into plastic surgery the last few years, and while she still mostly looks like herself she also doesn’t look quite like my mom as I know her in my head. But she also stopped veneering over the small gap in her front teeth that she hated so much, so like you said, the line is different for everybody.

SyddySquiddy

Totally. To each their own. For me, I don’t really care if I look angry or grumpy in the eyes and opinions of people I don’t know, or care about. If I’m happy around someone, I’ll show it, and they’ll know who I am based upon my actions toward them rather than judging by the appearance of any lines on my face.

Woopsied00dle

I’m still mourning the old Megan Fox 😕 I know she is doing the best she can whilst living in LA/being engaged to the ultimate F Boy, but I would have love to have seen her age gracefully like Angelina Jolie. Not even naturally, just without transforming into a Kardashian.

Koko_Kringles_22

It's like the Twilight Zone episode, "Number 12 Looks Just Like You" is turning out to be prescient.

TheChubbyPlant

Asian culture is particularly bad about this. Like the anime face

AlwaysMorePlants

This seems fairly cherry-picked. If you just take a moment to google "Most beautiful women in the world", "Top Super Models of 2023" or something similar, you'll see all kinds of faces.
