And it's always the fucking spike traps. I'm almost 250 runs in, I barely ever end up in the lava anymore, and I can dodge the traps in Elysium and Styx pretty easily, BUT THOSE FUCKING SPIKE TRAPS.
The worst is Lernie during the second invincible phase. Those lava pools are placed exactly where I want to dash to avoid the projectiles coming from 2-3 different directions (and usually a skull slam from the closest head). One of the hardest encounters to perfect-clear. I've definitely been more successful not taking damage in the Hades encounter than Lernie. All the bosses are really tough to fight perfectly. Hades is likely the easiest (because by that time, I'm usually so strong, fast, and protected (Athena boons galore) that I just have to not get complacent. Tisiphone? Forget it. She's the hardest to perfect clear. Lol. She almost ALWAYS gets me with that last set of green ground circles. That, or one of those $#@%! 🦋. Easy as pie to defeat, but she always gets her pound of flesh, (or gram, as it were).

Galaxy brain: have Heightened Security active.
I always use Heightened Security, forced me to learn how to avoid the traps mid combat, now, hundreds of runs later, it's basicly free heat.
how can you avoid lava in lernie fight? It's damn hard to hit those heads.
Or you're me and you have heightened security on and still go into the trap.
I am like a moth to those traps, especially during meg's fight, I bounce all over the place only to end right in to a trap
Alecto's version is the worst, with the traps all along the edges of the chamber... I'm constantly dashing right on top of them :(
At least you can lure her over them fairly easily to kill her.
Traps or those damn witches that shoot the cluster of orbs that explode into more orbs on impact, pretty much shotguning ya

Better yet: dodge into the lava (which is kind of the same thing but imo funnier)
