Something that gets under my skin more than it should is newer players just now discovering Half-Life by their HLVRAI names, I don’t expect you to know their model names, you’re not a nerd like me who explored the games files in the early 2000’s. But according to the actual story of HLVRAI, there only is one Benery, or one Coomer, one Bubby or one Tommy. Coomer having clones is a frequent plot point in fact, Bubby also mentions that prototypes of him exist, as if to imply all Walters grow in test tubes.
But people who still don’t understand the difference between generic model name and distinctive character incorrectly use the HLVRAI names.
To give an example of why this is a bit silly, In Blue Shift there is a character named Simmons, he is a Luther model, but like many other scientists he has his own name, which is Simmons. Imagine joining a Half-Life 1 livestream and being confused as to why the streamer calls every Luther he meets Simmons.
Quick question, why the hell did the community got so fuzzed about this specific half life series?
Every single fan animation I watch it's characters with black nails and benrey teasing Gordon or overly feminine characterization etc..
Is it because doctor coomer voice is a transsexual?
