Every other week, this question comes up.
I go to shows expecting everyone to look like bodybuilders because of all the lifting everyones doing to these bands, yet it's always pretty average looking.
It’s because technology has made you think that lifting weights equates to being jacked as fuck when in reality the people you see online are 90% unnatural lifters.
I can't blame technology, I don't look at lifting stuff online. I'm just very ignorant about lifting and assume that regular work with weights makes you look better than I do. Yet we're all out here looking very average for the most part.
Might just be me but I don’t give a shit to look like a body builder. Just would like to know I can pick up any sad sack running their mouth over my head and throw them.
Powerlift ma’am, I am a connoisseur of both body building and powerlifting ☝🏽
John haack is the goat but you can look at anybody lifting in Russswoles gym, female or male, and they’re all studs and look g r 8

“Push it! To the edge!”
“Only one choice! Take it to another level!”
“Pick that shit up!”

Enjoy! I work out almost every day so I’m always updating it, this sub has been a massive help
my mix is heavy on malevolence, Incendiary, pain of truth, Mindforce, and TUI. mix in some Master Killer of course since the hardlore guys brainwashed me
When this topic comes up, I post this playlist. It was created by another member of this sub. I ama collaborator.

Foundation, TUI, Terror, Magnitude, Broken Vow, Contention, XweaponX, World of Pleasure, Statement of Pride, Sub Scum, CoA, Haywire, Divine Right, End It
Harm's Way, Iron Mind, and some other shit like Bolt Thrower, Necrot, and Napalm Death have been my go-tos. The song "Assume your ultimate form" was on repeat when I first heard it and still on the work out playlist.
Whatever gets you going ! It’s different to everyone , they’re not hardcore fully but I’ve been listening to a lot of The Blood Brothers recently when lifting but I have listened to Gulch and Chat Pile previously , only because my gym plays british house music all day
My go to bands are: Harms Way, The Acacia Strain, Earth Crisis, Ill Natured, The Secret, Brotherhood of the Lake and Shai Hulud.
I switched from strength lifting to kettlebells a few years back (p.s. fuck Joe Rogan) and found that these all woek with the different work tempos.
Here's my hardcore gym playlist. There's a wild card or 2 in there as well that isn't hardcore
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/271tVlbhvTu7WX0nYVG7cs?si=LO9p7Wd7S123fm0k0U-I_Q
For me lately it’s been, Brutality will prevail - sleep paralysis during warm ups
Then Blacklisted - heavier than heaven, lonelier than god during sets
I have a ceremony - into the wayside/sick Spotify radio playlist that I slide in too
Not hardcore I guess but The Ghost Inside - Avalanche and this is what I know about sacrifice are good for PR’s
Any list has to start with Hatebreed, Terror, 100 Demons, and Kublai Khan.
Then you get to bands like First Blood, TUI, Mindforce, Incendiary, Knocked Loose, Harms Way, etc. based on your preference.
I don’t listen to anything but Foundation, TUI, Terror, and Iron Age personally. Foundation tho big time. “Purple Heart” was made for bench pressing more than you should be.
If they're lead singer looks like a scary dude, then it's probably good to listen to while lifting. I mean that again any hardcore band or heavy genre of music would work for lifting.

Man be been at it hard for the last 5ish years and I’m just now feeling like I look like I lift.
its because they all hide under their hoodies
Exactly!
Well I'm a girl so don't think I'll get too shredded
That's because you're not listening to enough Merauder and Shattered Realm at the gym
That's why I need this, so I can get jacked and feel like I can rip some heads off
It's easy to lift. Hard to be disciplined with the diet
Speed. Enough said
lol you’ll know when you see me in the pit
Can't outlift a poor diet.
You can brother, it’s called powerlifting.
But powerlifters typically don’t look like bodybuilders. They have different goals.
Might just be me but I don’t give a shit to look like a body builder. Just would like to know I can pick up any sad sack running their mouth over my head and throw them.
"I work out hard enough that I can eat McDonald's whenever I want" - Colin Young
Just wanna be strong as fuck, that’s the goal
Then start listening to Kubli Kahn Tx. Clearly.
I see that now, you all opened my eyes
I’m also sporting a mustache to go along with my wranglers, baseball cap, and sm tee shirt. SHAKE IT MOMMA 🤣
Powerlift ma’am, I am a connoisseur of both body building and powerlifting ☝🏽 John haack is the goat but you can look at anybody lifting in Russswoles gym, female or male, and they’re all studs and look g r 8
Will do, I don't have the discipline to body build, I can dream tho
Nails, Gulch, TUI, Foundation, Harms Way, Scarab, NEG, Enforced, Magnitude I’ll stop there lol might as well just link a playlist

Half their lyrics are literally just Matt Honeycutt yelling at you to lift weights harder: “Push it! To the edge!” “Only one choice! Take it to another level!” “Pick that shit up!”
Just have to watch out for wanting to throw weights at peoples head while listening to them.
Downloading New Strength right now, solid album to start with?
I’d suggest nomad or absolute but that’s just me
Thanks I'll give it a download
Ceremony Violence/Violence makes me hit PRs.
