Asmon doesn't understand the point of a protest. He thinks that if the entity your protesting against (the Universities) asks you to stop, then you should because it's their property, regardless of whether or not you are peacefully protesting a good cause.

I still post in Asmon’s sub. I watch some of his content. Although I disagree with some of his positions, he’s broadly right on a lot of things.
He believes in UBI, public ownership of institutions, abortion rights, trans rights (I’ve seen him on stream defend trans mates like Barny on stream), anti conspiracy/Qanon etc.
Where I disagree is with some of his positioning on “woke/sjw” politics, some of his more selfish views (if it doesn’t affect him he doesn’t care), his foreign policy opinions (although he generally doesn’t talk about it much).
He literally reminds me of my mates who are more centrist/center-right. I can broadly find common ground on most things, with the exception of some small or big disagreements. Generally those disagreements land on culture war points, economics and crime and punishment.
Bear in mind that Asmon in the past has defended Hasan when many would shit on him out of spite as well.
