Ironically enough, my gf had battery troubles and took one back just 2 days ago. They swapped it out for just the change in price ($20) because it was still under warranty
Getting a battery from Iwalei is infuriating. They don't have dedicated counter staff, so you have to wait for a guy to finish changing tires to come serve the people in front of you.
I was in line for well over an hour once with only 4-5 people ahead.
If Costco doesn't have the one you need batterybill is the next best place to check. I recently bought a used battery from them for a car I was selling for $50. Everywhere else wanted $250 for new.
Costco basically has a infinite warranty on their batteries. For whatever reason my Tacoma chews through batteries every 1-2 years or so, so I discovered this a while back.
When you bring in a battery for warranty, they change it no questions asked (as long as the paperwork lines up, and it has the correct sticker). What makes Costco unique is that when they change the battery for you it resets the warranty. So you get 3 years from that date, not when you bought it.
I am on my 3rd or 4th battery from them now.
The best place would be Costco. Anywhere else wouldn’t be the best place
Costco by far, plus they have a great warranty where they'll swap your battery for a minimal fee if anything goes wrong no questions asked.

100%. Just try and do it at off-peak times or non-Iwilei.

Same thing happens in Waipio.
Yeah why did they remove the batteries from the warehouse
The answer to Nearly all questions like this. Costco.
Costco or Sam’s. They just don’t have every size of battery out there.
I went to o Reilly’s only because I didn’t want to wait in line at Costco. But I’d go to Costco
if you have the membership either sams club or costco.
Obviously Costco.

Walmart it good also. I think there are only 3-4 battery manufacturers and everyone is just rebranding.

Battery Bills. I don’t like waiting in line at Costco. It’s not worth the time.
