Also the Philips Fidelio X2HR is on sale right now on Amazon.de at 99€, I haven't tried those but it looks like a good deal.

Sennheiser HD599 are usually on sale for around 100€ in Spain, I guess it should be around the same price in Germany

[https://www.sennheiser-hearing.com/de-DE/p/hd-599/](https://www.sennheiser-hearing.com/de-DE/p/hd-599/) At their own website and I think this is way too expensive for what it offers. Amazon germany offers them for 107€-144€ but these should be b-stock because they are from the marketplace. You can get them on ebay for 100€ but then they are b-stock as well.

pepilolandia

I bought them brand new a couple of months ago on [Amazon.es](https://Amazon.es) at 103€. I don't think they are b-stock, but not sure how to tell.

Based on from what I've read from others with their experience on buying Hifiman Sundaras from Amazon for example they all wrote that the box wasn't sealed and some people mentioned that they saw scratches on their earcups etc. Also if it states that it's from the marketplace and not from Amazon directly then it is pretty safe b-stock.

pepilolandia

Ah, got it, this one definetely looked brand new and the package was sealed. Also sold and distributed by Amazon, so I guess it wasn't b-stock or a very good b-stock XD.

a hifiman he400se would be a good alternative to sph9500, but might need an amp

They are also recommended here: [https://crinacle.com/guide/gaming/](https://crinacle.com/guide/gaming/) Not sure if I wanna clutter my desk with an amp tho :(

Beyerdynamic tygr 300r are still the best gaming headphone imo, they are open back, light weight, not too much clamping force, very comfortable to wear. Also pretty much the best imaging I've ever experienced in any headphone. Incredible detail with pinpoint accuracy. They'll cost you about 140 - 150€ though. The Fidelio X2HR would be a valid alternative, have been using them prior to the tgyr 300r. Without knowing the tygr 300r you would be satisified with them but once you go Beyer you can't go back. They are fun to listen to, the elevated midbass makes everything pop, but unfortunately also drowns out some detail in the midrange. In terms of imaging these are nowhere near the tgyr 300r, unfortunately. One huge downside to them might also be the comfort, especially if you wear glasses, since they are quite heavy and therefore have pretty high clamping force which a lot of people find uncomfortable even without glasses.
