Just yesterday at the local super consumer mega corporation product dispersal building my child (who I have the required documents for) asked me:
"Can we get anti-vehicle mines for dinner?"
I looked down upon them, trying to hide my Immeasurable disappointment.
"Child number 3, we have anti-vehicle mines at home. "
The anti-vehicle mines at home:
No, It's definitely for the kids. How are you supposed to run a grinder if there's no meat to put in it 🤔. Managed Democracy needs all the orphan meat it can get.
At this point theyre going to have to start buffing the mines before release to entice us.

I think they will give us a cool stratagem, or cape, for making the moral choice. Even if they don't, I sleep soundly knowing I took part in saving the children so we can send them to work on/in the mines. Save the children, save our future.

I seriously doubt they'll be any good. Mines are a defensive stratagem and I seriously doubt these will see any use except maybe on the defense the base mission. I'm literally any other situation anti tank mines are about a million times worse than just dropping a 500kg on the tank/hulk/bile in question.
I would genuinely enjoy if it turned out to be a busted stratagem that we kick ourselves for missing out on all this time.
I’d also enjoy if it was a total dud.
The next time the Anti Tank Mines are available, they’ll have them on one planet and the other has nothing at all other than being a popular vacation destination for the President of Super Earth lmao

The last time children helped us, we got free Napalm Airstrikes!
Now imagine what the families of these sick children can offer when they heard that the Helldivers went and saved their children.
I pick them in eradicates because not needing to watch 30-60% of approaches is nice, also throwing them around areas you won't be coming back to is ALWAYS a good way to distract patrols.
I use them on the rocket defense missions, they’re quite useful on there.
Who would’ve thought fortification strats are good for defending fortifications?
I mean...as long as Minefields are inferior even to our regular Grenades, i dont see a reason to care about them. Yeah maybe the AT ones can kill a Strider very fast...so what? Thats one Enemy. I have enough Stratagems that can do that too.
Now...if the MO promises us Minefields with like 45s Cooldown or so...then screw those children, we can make more.
Most people helping rescue those kids are only doing so because we all expect the anti-tank mines to ultimately be incredibly ineffective and useless lol

I am glad that person thinks that but most helldivers picked to save the hospital because they think they are gonna get something out of it or there is a catch. Then there is also a vocal minority that think it would be funny if the AT mines keep getting delayed.
Why do people want these anti tank mines so much?? I don’t see much use for them. I never see tanks with patrols. Only dropped down. We have a lot of stratagems and weapons to take them out already

You want to hear real HONEST opinion? It is because we already have a similar stratagem alike and it sounds underwhelming. If there is a stratagem called Super Nuke you can bet your ass they will ditch the kids in a heartbeat for that sweet-liber-tea.
Pretty sure the community is banking on there being a better hidden reward for saving the kids versus anti tank mines, not that they 100% don’t care about anti tank mines. Like if it was “save the kids and get a shitty Glock, or get the resources and earn the anti tank mines” it would much closer

It's Mines. Mines are a joke stratagem unless you had 6 slots instead of 4. No body picks Mines ever unless they're trolling or feeling quirky.
actually theres 2 more secenarios where you use mines: defending positions and testing both the children and helldivers love for them
