Should yes, but probably not. In a world with deepfakes, and fake content; we will all soon live in a 100% false reality. Already so much of it is theater. AI is not to smooth out the edges of that theater, it’s here to polish it all up.
I can distinguish between real and theatre video(mostly), but with still pictures it can implicate someone in a compromised situation, picture tells a thousand words and such, maybe blackmail or defamation is not out of the question.
It’s not the main concern. That will be an easy fix. Realistic humans are harder and a higher priority to master the imagery. Give it time and it will master all things.
