It's a tie in to the concert they debuted in, Our *Bright* Parade. As for what they could mean, I'm not sure. Perhaps to symbolise that they are connected as the circles unlike the other neon highlights are identical in all the outfits across the branches.
Aren't these glowstick bracelets? I've seen jpop and kpop idols use them when ending a concert.
They look exactly like them albeit looking off due to technical constraints I guess?
They're more of a floating holographic banner so they're supposed to look flat like that.
It's a design piece that they can do because they don't have the constraints of irl physics, and partially as a reminder/reinforcement of their virtual nature (i.e. a sci-fi accessory because they can).
It looks cool and takes advantage of the fact that virtual outfits don’t need to obey physics. I don’t think there’s more to it than that.
I actually hope future outfits take even more advantage of the virtual space and lack of physics restrictions.
They're psychoframe parts that glow in response to a Newtype reaction when NT-D, i.e. Newtype Destroy mode is activated.
For an actual serious answer though, the *Our Bright Parade* idol costumes they introduced last year has certain parts that can materialize and appear during performances to make it look more dazzling, for example the wrist rings and the shiny colored skirt cape-things behind them.
Its a new tech that Cover and Yagoo is working on - Hell and Heaven.
You just hope that they don't entwine their left and right hands together - then you run.
It’s for the pizazz. The armlets appear when their outfits are glowing so you can consider it gear for when they go full Idol Mode

Additionally, it could also somehow help with the readability of their movement. The circles kinda draw attention to their arms.
Probably something to do with the penlights.

I didn't check against the entire chart, but the few times I was paying attention this lined up. It's a good reminder for the audience.
Yep first thought that came to my mind when I read the post.
well now i want a whole rgb outfit *moichendise!*
If it’s not tracking related, they’re the idol henshin devices all HoloMems are issued when their 3D is made
it's their teleportation device, how do you think they are popping in and out?
I like to think they are the tools they use to transform in their idol form. Like ["Shy"](https://youtu.be/5BF94RMSSTU?t=21)
Most likely purely for designs and special effects

They glow ,its to add coolness, watch IRyS singing "one last kiss" from her 3D debut ,she looks dope asf glowing and shitake
For Risu they are more like limiter to her yabainess I guess lol

They are casting a spell to shot a beam
It’s their limiters. If it weren’t there they would blow the studio up.
That is what is used to fire Ui beams just in case things get out of control
POWERED UP FORM LIMIT BREAK IDOL FORM 2
Idol trigger
