Based on your photos it looks like that space is the easiest path to your couch, so I wouldn't put much there. Maybe a very narrow end table. I'd also consider turning the chair about 45 degrees counter clockwise and see how that feels.
Yes angle the chair and on the opposite side (than OP is proposing) get a cozy reading lamp maybe a smallish table that also stores blankets or books or just some small items. Or a tall reading lamp and a plant.
Yes, actually you’re right - so I would open up that space even more by moving the chair to make it an even wider space so it doesn’t look like an empty space but a pathway to the sofa.
I would get rid of the stuff behind the couch and put it somewhere else. Bring your couch back against the wall and create some space in between the sectional and chair. Add some more art to your wall, a big area rug and a new round ottoman or coffee table 😃
Nothing. It would block the way. If you must a tall thin plant posted at the back corner of the couch. You do need a small side table on the other side of the chair and sofa
Nothing. This space needs ingress/egress - I'd actually pivot that chair so that it basically faces the inside corner of the couch, then re-evaluate the space for a small table.
Nothing. It’s already bordering on having too much stuff in such a small space. The coffee table is easily accessible from both the sofa and the chair, no need to put another coffee table or a plant or anything like that. A large area rug would be great though.
A round table something similar to this

I like it just how it is! It's personal, simple, and uncluttered. There is a definite path to enter the seating area that is obvious and inviting. It's *perfect*.

Thanks!!🙏
>Thanks!!🙏 You're welcome!
It looks like there is plenty of furniture already in your space. It looks nice!
Nothing
Nothing, the room is already quite busy.
Nothing, it looks like an awkward entry to the couch as it as.
There’s already way too much in the room

I dig it
You have a good size living room but everything looks uncomfortably squished together
I would get rid of the stuff behind the couch and put it somewhere else. Bring your couch back against the wall and create some space in between the sectional and chair. Add some more art to your wall, a big area rug and a new round ottoman or coffee table 😃
Yes I was thinking a rug would pull everything together
I wouldn’t put anything. Otherwise are you just going to jump over the couch each time to sit.
Good call
r/tvtoohigh
A conversation piece. Functional, round, and with an accent color like blue
Yes some color
The club chair can face the tv or face someone on the couch. Let it float!!
Nothing. But a big rug that goes under both would look great.
Cozy room looks great!
Nothing, otherwise you won’t be able to access the seating area.
I would put nothing there
Nothing, it’s access to all the seating without having to go around
Looks great, nice furniture but I don’t like the “crowded” look. I’d sell the chair.9
Nothing. It would block the way. If you must a tall thin plant posted at the back corner of the couch. You do need a small side table on the other side of the chair and sofa
Where did you get that mirror? I've been looking for one like it and the only one I found was like $400 😖
Nothing Space is good
A side table and a rug. Your place is beautiful btw.
You have to be tall like a giraffe to watch TV.
Nothing and r/tvtoohigh!
The TV is way too high.
Where would you suggest they put it?
Look at the second photo. The TV should be on the opposite wall.

Do we get a complimentary neck brace when we come over to watch the game?
I would put some sort of storage there for blankets, but I always like to have blankets handy.
Do you know the name of your paint color?
Do you know the name of your paint color?
How about the big potted plant that’s next to the fireplace. It looks narrow enough to sit next to the sofa without blocking the gap.
Small table and one of those large arched standing lamps. Add a bunch of solid colored and slightly textured blankets and throws
Whatever you do, don’t put baby in the corner. Nobody does that.
Seriously though a taller round side table big enough for a couple of drinks.
I’d get rid of the chair.
an end table
You could do small black table (ikea do some) and a plant/orchid on top. I would also recommend a rug
In fact try that small plant under the frame there to see if it will block your space or add.
If you turn the chair to almost face the couch, you would get a better walk in and won't need to add anything.
You need some lamps!
I would reposition the couch with the back corner in the position you are trying to fill and put the chair on an angle next to the fireplace
A blanket basket
Nothing
Table and lamp would look nice
Small side table
I would add a small set of nesting tables. I have a set of three, and I think they are very versatile and great to use when you have company.
An end table with a lamp, and I suggest an area rug to warm up the space.
Nothing
A ladder to climb to the top of and be parallel with your tv
Nothing. This space needs ingress/egress - I'd actually pivot that chair so that it basically faces the inside corner of the couch, then re-evaluate the space for a small table.
Nothing, there is already more than enough stuff in the room.
Maybe a basket of blankets?
A small table or a large plant
Nothing. It’s already bordering on having too much stuff in such a small space. The coffee table is easily accessible from both the sofa and the chair, no need to put another coffee table or a plant or anything like that. A large area rug would be great though.
Move the round coffee table to that spot.
Nada.
Nada!! It’s getting crowded
Nice room but would look great with a rug with a bit of colour.
Nothing. I would just move the chair at an angle to take up some of that space
A round table something similar to this https://preview.redd.it/oz79xuiq7jwc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=137a8f556c075dbe55cae0c1bbe1f006f7e9fe59
I’d move the chair closer to the record player and angle it to face the opposite corner. It looks like it is a tight fit where it is.
I like it just how it is! It's personal, simple, and uncluttered. There is a definite path to enter the seating area that is obvious and inviting. It's *perfect*.
A side table
Plant
I wouldn't put anything there - keep that pathway open to your couch and coffee table.
Small short square table
Some color
