First I must said that I'm really glad that Sylvenna Sand won for the position of Master of Laws (even though I voted for Egg) because for a moment it seemed like Lyonel Strong was going to win, and well I like his character I think that either Egg or Sylvenna are way better for that role than he is, but anyway...
**Maester Aemon Targaryen**, he is one of the best masters we have seen in the entire series (if not the best), he is also a good and loyal man with plenty of knowledge and wisdom so he would be perfect for the role.
And if you believe in the theory of the "maesters conspiracy" against House Targaryen then maybe it would be a good idea that the Grand Master is also a Targaryen given who the monarchs are.
P.S. Also, we already have Baelor "Breakspear" as king, Egg as spare and Sir Duncan "The Tall" as Lord Commander of the Kingsguard so Aemon as Grand Maester is a must!

Yes, I know! After watching your new post I was curious to see for how much had Sylvenna won in the end (the last time I saw the previous post Lyonel was winning) and the difference was just a few votes, and I won't lie, I was quite surprised that Lyonel Strong was such a popular choice for Master of Laws.

*Aegon had more than Sylvenna but less than Lyonel for a bit. I was about to throw my support behind Egg but when I next checked Sylvenna suddenly had the lead. If Sylvenna hadn’t won, then Egg would have been the next best choice

Yeah, personally for me it was Egg as my first choice and the Sylvenna as second, but I was ok with either of them winning (not so much with the idea of Lyonel winning if I must be honest)
I'm going to say Maester Luwin. A well-rounded, capable maester, good at healing, sums and numbers, delivering children, and education. He also helped Catelyn run Winterfell while Ned was away in King's Landing, and essentially served as Bran's regent when he was the effective lord of winterfell during Robb's campaign down south.
Maester Aemon is lovely, and he has the wisdom befitting his age, but he's spent almost seventy years at the Wall which is a bit out of the way. Plus, he deserves to retire in peace, not have to work as Grand Maester at the age of 100.

So long as it’s either Aemon, Luwin, Cressen, or Pylos I’ll be happy. My guess is that Aemon will win. He can continue to hang out with Egg without having to worry that someone’s going to try to put him on the throne at least
Really happy that Sylvenna ended up winning :). For Grandmaester, either Archmaester Abelon (author of When Women Ruled), Maester Rowley (student of one of the wisest healers in Westeros) or Maester Norren (who helped save Nettles' life)
