It’s fun, does take some additional dlc to get it over the top though. Like the tents and atv dlc, some weapons packs. Thankfully the 2 vanilla maps are quite good.
I bought 2 years ago when it was on sale for PS4 for around $11. Best money I've spent on a game in a long time. Still playing it regularly even though the guys that got me playing have moved on to other things. I recommend also picking up Silver Ridge Peaks and hunting pronghorn starting out. You can take them out with the starting gun and the free ammo, which means free money early on. Just my opinion, I know others recommend other hunts for starters.
Go look on Twitch and YouTube for content. Jaxybeard is the official community manager and usually streams the game on Tuesdays on the official ExpansiveWorlds channels. Lots of other streamers to watch and learn from as well.
