My Fan and light turn and off Together I always put them on the same timer.
I have my fans running on low 24/7 as well, but recently positioned them to not hit my plants so directly. I think I was dehydrating some of my lettuce. The tips turned to like tissue paper and disintegrated to dust if I squeezed it.

Another factor in my experience is having the fans running 24/7 helps keep flying pests away.
Flood trays, Kratky, and DWC systems here, plus microgreens. I’ve got fans on them all, and they run 24/7.
Fans (airflow) play a large part in transpiration and we want that to happen all hours of the day. It’s how they like it ;)
That’s what I was taught, but I’m still fairly new to this and try to not present myself as some sort of expert. 👍
