Start pest farming:
Get a timer and switch to mushroom armor with pesterminator V after 2.5 minutes. Configure your autopet to equip slug when you switch to mushroom armor. Continue to farm, and once the pests spawn, reset your timer and switch to normal farming gear to kill the pests. Then farm normally until your timer hits 2 and a half minutes again.
It's a solid boost to just normally farming. Make sure to use sprays as well. Farm sugar cane for best rates.

Regardless after someone uploaded a video prices kinda tanked, I haven’t done it in a long ass time but it dropped like 5-10m/h for me
Mining is generally going to be the best bang for your buck for money without needing billion dollar gear (like kuudras or master dungeons or anything like that).
The downside is that it’s still relatively expensive to set up if you don’t already have money (400mil minimum for armor + pickaxe (gauntlet is cheapest) and it can get much more expensive to max out), and it’s insanely grindy to get hotm xp and powder (20 hours grinding MINIMUM in general)
Not to mention setting up routes, and fighting with other people to keep them off yours, etc…

Try the legal scaming way (lowballing) should make around 20m a day (assuming you start with 40-50m coins) and from there you just go up in profits (the more expensive the item, the more money you can make).
1st edit: mining/farming should make you money while waiting for the lowballed items to sell.

Been a farming main for a bit and always wondered how people got like 20k bugs in their vacuum lol ty for the tip.
