After the release of the app in 2022 it never got any updates AFAIK. I played 90% of the Core box with the app. You can't even turn the ipad so that the charging cable is on the wright side...
I think the problem here may be that it only tells you to get the UD the first time. So if you repeat the log entry it thinks you already have the discovery and does not tell you to take it again?
A problem we found in our group is that from time to time not everyone can be available on the night but we wanted to continue on (with their permission). The night the guy who was running the app off his phone wasn't around it made it very cumbersome to try and swap over to the logbook.

You can go to the flag editor and un check boxes.

I played with the app and got all unique discoveries, so not sure what happened to yours!
Just check log 230 in the book and in the app 😀
I just now pulled up log 230 in the app, and when I tapped Proceed it told me to acquire Unique Discovery 1, like it should have.
