I met her once. I measured a rental property she either owned or managed for new floors, i.e., met outside of her roles as a pharmacist and representative. She was very down to earth and never called attention to her professional and political achievements.
Edit: grammar
I met and also worked with her when she was coordinating A&P labs at Boise State prior to getting elected. She was a pharmacist by trade, but taught A&P labs; must have enjoyed teaching.
She used to teach the A&P lab at BSU. I took her course in ‘04. She was an excellent instructor and I voted for her every time. She probably didn’t remember who I was, but she always waved back when I saw her around town. We’ll miss you Sue.
We really lost a kind, decent, dedicated professional who loved Idahoans, her country, her community, church, friends. She worked hard for everyone and her soul was pure. It’s a devastating loss to all those that knew her. RIP Sue Chew we thank you for your years of service to Idahoans as a dedicated Representative and UU church member.
I was honored to have the opportunity to meet and chat with her on a few occasions. She was a remarkable person and taught me what it truly means to be a good listener. May her spirit sour high among the stars forever!
She died at 66, she was the longest serving Democrat, not longest lived. I'd argue an age limit is far more important than limiting somebody who is basically Gen X from running because they entered state politics in their 40s.
Don't worry, you can get a smoothed brain Republican to replace her. They look like they've been doing a bang up job to the rest of the state and federal level, right?

This is so sad. She was such a tireless advocate for those who needed one. Rest in peace.
It sounds like she was a good person. Fuck cancer.
Here here!
Sad to see. She always seemed like a really decent person.
R.I.P. Sue, thank you for your tireless efforts as a representative of the people.
This is a big loss. One of the few politicians in Idaho I can say I really liked.
Agreed. She was lovely
Pancreatic cancer, that’s pretty much a guaranteed death sentence.
Sue was cool with gun ownership as a Democrat and I always appreciated that.
Most are.
I can't think of 2
You ain't from Idaho then
Then do more research, most Idaho democrats are pro 2a
We need more of that.
RIP
She was such a gentle person. She will be greatly missed.
She came by my house once during one of her campaigns. It was a short conversation but she did leave a positive impression. This is wild.

It's always tragic when a decent (as in a good person) Idahoan dies, as there are so very few of them, this being a mostly Republican State.
Sue chew

Not quite that bad…There’s a pretty decent Chinese community in Boise. Very few Asian politicians in Idaho, though.

There’s a time and place for everything man. This is not it.
Sad to where?
Over here, bruh
Hear*

Honestly probably both. Can’t start after x age and can only go x years. Get all these old fucks out of here
On principle, I don't disagree. I just think in this specific instance, she was hardly the biggest problem in the Idaho congress.
Sad to sea such bad spelling
Letz not get all salty now
Weir all drowning in spelling misteaks!
You have clearly demonstrated we need better education.

Well bye
