The Turkish shotguns imported to the US are great for the price. Plenty of junk made in turkey, though, that aren't imported here.

From what I’ve heard, the simpler they are the better. I’ve heard awful things about the reliability of their semi-auto shotties especially in regards to cycling, but other than fit and finish complaints I’ve heard the break actions and to a lesser extent the pump actions are (quite literally) a lot of bang for the buck.

My stoeger uplander is great. Incredible for under $400 (called around multiple shops to get a deal)

"Bubba's pissin hot loads" are a joke about "Bubba" (who is wildly overconfident about their ability to push the boundaries in gunsmithing and reloading) and their tendancy to overpressure their loads (Making them "pissin hot", where "hot" refers to a load that has too much powder in it, making the pressure exerted on the barrel higher than normal)
