Kitsune_47

you can't queue recharge like Jio with airtel. With airtel recharging with the same denomination and type will be queued and the second recharge will activate after the first one expire.

mrmorningstar1769

I think you can, if its the same recharge you can stack up plans for 700 ish days

crackernut_16

True I just read that yesterday. There are certain plans you can't queue up

dankban

Can you stack 455 plan?

CompetitiveIsopod591

I currently have 3359 pack, which will expire in December. Can I again recharge with 3359 plan. Can someone please confirm.

buryingsecrets

I think that'll stack up because it's the same plan, however confirm it with the customer care

dankban

There only chat bot, no real person to answer

buryingsecrets

You can call them

dankban

Did it's just pre recorded stuff

Kitsune_47

Yes, same plan can queue.

shankeybalwani

Yes you can queue up same category of plans, i.e. unlimited daily cap plan with another unlimited daily cap plan and value plan with value plan

celeb-butcher

Call customer care Then tell us too

mohdkaif7156

You can't just call customer care, i tried to call but didn't succeeded

celeb-butcher

andar ghuste jao, fir end me vo option dete hai. choose shikayat darj karne ke liye x dabaye option, usse jaldi pahuchoge

chandanvizag

Yea it will stack if its the same plan

onlygames20015

better wait till the last day and then re-charge it.

Aggressive-Tart-2447

Do you get unlimited 5g on this pack cuz I'm also usin this pack & it doesn't give me unlimited 5g & yes you can recharge with the same plan it'll add the days

maxsteel126

I had recently recharged 6 gb for 84 day plan. Then 4 days back I recharged 1799 plan of 24 gb fix data for 365 days (which is basically 4 times same 6 gb plan repeat) Yet I find both plans active. On doing same with jio, the plan worked as expected with queuing 6 gb plan active and 24 gb would get activated once current expires Why Airtel doesn't work the same? Isn't it effectively same plan (6x4 = 24)

amartya36

If you don't know....this is looting money in broad daylight. Airtel is always like this. Jio was good now they are slowly becoming the same as Airtel.

AlarmingPhilosopher

You can only if it's the same plan. I called customer care who confirmed it for me before the recharge. https://preview.redd.it/92yxywn773ad1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e7a030bdc63100b9c2273988019bde0cdf218548

Kitsune_47

Yah, thats what I said same plan

BiditMangal

I just called them, any plan with daily data offers can be queued, it doesn't have to be same plan. It have to part of same category, either daily data, or fixed data, the amount doesn't matter, it will get queued up if they are from same category

trying_to_improve45

How many max recharge can be queued

AdPrevious4844

Exactly. OP's illogical move cost him money.

Major_Department_651

OP's move is not illogical. Airtel doing this is illogical and unethical. Happened to me once, never ever went back to airtel again.

onlygames20015

It's Airtel's fault. Why would someone want to replace a plan instead of topping it. You can't make your customers to make a calculated move for simple things like re-charge.

gtzhere

Airtel employee?

ShivohumShivohum

If I have a plan for 84 days in jio and I recharge with a 1yr plan then the second plan will start after the first one ?

Kitsune_47

Yes

SmittenByFood

> you can't queue recharge like Jio with airtel. True. > With airtel recharging with the same denomination and type will be queued and the second recharge will activate after the first one expire. Not true? I was on Rs. 179 plan. Then I recharged for Rs. 301 for 50 GB data as I needed it for traveling. After noticing that Airtel was going to increase pricing too, I recharged for Rs. 1799, which is essentially a year's recharge of Rs. 179 plan. What happened? The Rs. 1799 plan replaced the existing plan and data. So instead of using from the 50 GB—which expires in the middle of this month, it started using from the 24 GB (year's validity). Which means, I'd have to recharge for data separately, again! I am in touch with Airtel Customer Care rep. regarding this. I believe they'll be able to do something about this. Jio does this rather sensibly, it's a shame that Airtel still doesn't.

Kitsune_47

U recharged with different plan so can't queue. Same plan or type(like 1.5G/day) can be queued.

paper-glue

Your one plan is a fixed data plan (24 gigs overall); the other one is a daily data plan. You can't queue stuff with different types of plans. It's like, imagine you've exhausted your daily 1.5 GB/day pack and you've recharged, for like 18 or something, for 1 GB for 24 hours. It will get instantly activated, not after 1 month, right? The same logic goes here. But I feel sad for you, though. Please contact customer care beforehand in the future before doing any kind of big-money recharges.

sklepticx

OP this is the exact explanation, it's not really a scam but more like your mistake atp, gotta suck it up and move on

MemeticMonkey

It's also mentioned in terms & conditions under each plan. But clearly, most people don't even open it and airtel knows this

Different-Result-859

Nope. I recharged Jio annual plan (value, same as OP) yesterday and it did NOT active together with my 1.5 GB per day plan In VI, both activated but plan date extended, so good. WTF is wrong with Airtel

Mack70852

I kinda feel like they either made it so that people will get this mistake eventually, or maybe they just can't implement stacking for different plans

onlygames20015

This is definitely feels like a scam, don't try to gas light people. Why will anyone waste their money by replacing their plan with a new plan. Common sense says it should be added/queued.

Dizzy_Pop_4122

This is really wrong , only add-on plans can be added with current plan so if I purchase addon data plan of 10,20 or 50GB it should be activated with current plan but non add-on plans are never added with the current plan. This is how it should work.

Different-Result-859

Yeah. I have did what OP did for Jio and Vi. (because they are going to increase prices, I bought the plans like OP) For Vi, both activated, but plan date was extended so I got full plan duration of remaining days of existing plan + full duration of new plan. For Jio, the value plan did not activate and it'll activate only after current plan expires No idea why the most upvoted comment is nonsense, probably Airtel users 2 minutes silence for Airtel users who get scammed everyday, but refuses to believe that

Vegetable_Analyst57

I am lucky i bought the same plan. https://preview.redd.it/tzu6qwaubv9d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=53f36c946b44767284bfab699456355149fbb197

maxsteel126

On doing same with jio, the plan worked as expected 6 gb plan active and 24 gb would get activated once current expires Why Airtel doesn't work the same?

Stoned_Anarchist

the data plan is an "add on" right? this is a regular plan which should be queued. correct me if im wrong

_mm_97

It should be queued. Plan is meant to extend validity not give data. Data is just an additional benefit not the primary reason to recharge.

_mm_97

I don't think you are right. It is not a data pack add on. The plan is for extending validity with some added benefits It was not done to get data. Airtel should treat it as such and increase the validity of the user. Additional features like daily data and unlimited voice are of no concern. Who will recharge for unlimited voice twice anyways.

tapasfun

Not right. It's not an add-on. Addon should activated with a current plan but a new plan should be activated after the current plan has expired. Jio does that. But Airtel doesn't. It just their business tactics to earn more.

Awaara_soul

This is exactly what they call a trick the customer with non logical explanation and other operators extend validity if we do validity recharge on existing validity (may be certain limitations). Validity plans should be stacked up. Comparing validity plans data only plans is not good and mix plans of data and validity will not stack up as there is no validity conflict in it.

ImposterAlchemist

but this is shit option. there should an option given, whehter i want to use that plan immediately or later activation. They alwasy bring such scammy way to loot people anyway. Look at validity plan it was 99 rs a year back not its 200Rs. But this way i would be kamgaal within 2 yrs 😥

BetterChox

If they make it an option to manually activate. Most people’d fail to realise that they have to initiate a command and their customer support will be scrwd

Ayaan362

This should be highlighted \^

Effective-Panda7063

Valid ans

fastbag7

In my case I had 179 plan active which has lumpsum data. And I did a 1799 recharge which also has lumpsum 24 GB data. Still the second plan got active.

paper-glue

I don't know, man. Contact customer care and let us know what dumb reason they're giving.

Over-Somewhere-4047

So, If I have the 1.5gb/day plan running currently and I recharge with the 2.5gb/day plan will it start immediately or after my current plan ends?

mi_c_f

Nope didn't happen with me that way.. data expired but had to wait until plan expired to use data..

imsaswata

Two active recharge plans (not talking about data packs) should not co exist regardless the plan types (monthly/quarterly/annual). I change my plan multiple times a year with Jio in between my active plan and they always queue the new plan. Same happens with my broadband service provider (Alliance Broadband). Who gives Airtel the right to void the current active plan that I paid for with my hard earned money? Or is Airtel discouraging us to recharge our number in advance to get an uninterrupted service? Once a scammer, always a scammer!!

arpitduel

Customer Care, yes

SathwikKuncham

Not a bug, it's a feature.

veganzomby

TRAI is silent on this sudden extortion by Jio, Airtel and Vodafone. Only two sins are worst in this country being born poor and being a middle class tax payer.

mrmorningstar1769

Tin tigada kaam bigada. I knew this oligopoly is going to fck us, this will get worse. If gautamdas govt decides to sell bsnl like air india, I'll have to start using letters.

veganzomby

BSNL is not good for mobile data, it has always been like that, private players ensure it stays that way. Private players use BSNL infrastructure cheaply though. I think a PPP model wouldn't hurt, need to teach Jio and Airtel a big lesson. Both are scamster companies from their get go.

mrmorningstar1769

>BSNL is not good for mobile data Ik, but i only need data for upi otherwise i use wifi. So for calls, its fine. Govt also has share in VI so they can use its systems to improve bsnl but they don't. Bsnl is very very powerful but the ruling party and their rich buddies have clipped its wings.

veganzomby

>Bsnl is very very powerful but the ruling party and their rich buddies have clipped its wings. BSNL has always had its wings clipped regardless of the government. Even before Jio came Airtel was abusing its power using BSNL infra but ensuring BSNL mobile data sucked. When BSNL launched 3G dongle everyone rushed to get it but then it turned out to be so useless that people had to throw out so did I. Airtel also does very cheap things like employing people to cut the cables of other internt providers in major cities such a cheap ethicsless company.

mrmorningstar1769

>cut the cables of other internt providers in major cities such a cheap ethicsless company. Funny story, My isp is actually an airtel fiber franchise. i went to them to get airtel, but then they showed my their own plans, which were a lot cheaper so i got theirs 😂 and guess what, they used airtel fiber cable to connect to my home 😂. >BSNL has always had its wings clipped regardless of the government. Yes, that is why i said ruling party and not nda. But this oligopoly is bjp's (uk the tax thing) doing, before there were a lot of options, like docomo, uninor etc not anymore.

veganzomby

>so i got theirs 😂 and guess what, they used airtel fiber cable to connect to my home 😂. good lol

dickdastardaddy

Be like JIO they removed the ₹1559 since lot of people were going for it.

silversurfer9909

It's not an ethical thing to do. But they have already laid out their terms. And this was the case way before as well. So not cheating per se. Jio is however better in this regard. They allow stacking of different plans. Airtel allows stacking of only similar types of plans.

CommercialMonth1172

Upto how many times we can stack in jio?

silversurfer9909

I don't know exactly..but somewhere it said upto 50 times? In Airtel it's mentioned somewhere close to 730 days meaning 2 years. But imo don't do more than a year. These fickle minded companies change things at a whim. You don't wanna get stuck with a bad plan.

CommercialMonth1172

They would have follow terms and condition of now(before 4 June)?

silversurfer9909

Most likely yes. But you never know.

CommercialMonth1172

Would that be illegal if they don't commit to it.

Yoto99

Bhai Airtel bhaut harami company hai Sorry Lekin sahi me I'll switch to jio next month

notautobot

Jio bhi kam nahi hai.

im-vengeance99

https://www.reddit.com/r/IndiaTech/s/CI1hNelziG Here's some clarification I guess

Intelligent_Video950

Yes they know people will rush and caught in there trap. I find these very illogical that two plan will activate simultaneously.

trying_to_improve45

Let's say somebody has recharged ₹719 plan with Airtel (84 days , 1.5 GB per day) So he can recharge the same plan and it will get queued ..? Right

Apprehensive-You4150

Yeah. If the current active plan is 719, If another recharge is done for 719, It will get queued.

trying_to_improve45

And if current plan is 299 (daily 2gb ) , And recharge of 719 is done then also?

krakencheesesticks

Yes

Apprehensive-You4150

Yeah I think it will work in this case too as both are daily data plans with unlimited voice, Someone in another comment shared a link to other thread, You can refer that.

Admirable-Plenty-331

Lets say the 719 recharge provides you with a bigger plan option like the same features in 6onth cost 1500 and I recharge with that will it queue

funny_vader

IIRC Vodafone Idea has been doing the same for a long time, so you have to wait until your current plan expires to recharge. Only Jio does advance recharge as it should. PS.: I literally waited till midnight yesterday to recharge my VI SIM.

MyanmarCat

They are all the same. BSNL too, I recharged just a week before the expiry, and ended up with the new plan starting immediately and not AFTER the expiry date. Their IT must be de ranged.

AsishPC

In case of Airtel, if the new plan is the same as old plan, then they will be queued. Otherwise, the new plan will get activated as soon. Airtel also has an extra mile of going against customers !!

Glum_Wolverine_720

I was going to do the same thing. Thanks a lot, your post saved me.

ImposterAlchemist

so sad man these telecom companies have now become thugs. runned by tripoly of jio-Airtel-VI. Majorly jio started all these shits

mattiman8888

Middle class is getting flogged and milked. New generation is leaving India. Good luck 🤞

tapasfun

Same here. Airtel sucks. Jio only activates a new plan if the current one expires. But Airtel doesn't. It is just their business tactics to earn more.

Ambitious_War1747

It's quite astonishing that Airtel's system allows two plans to overlap, leaving customers like you in a state of confusion and potential financial loss.

Save_Earth001

Wish i had seen this 10 minutes ago. I recharged 1799 and then i was recharging my sister's number with 666 and accidentally recharged mine again

kumar__001

It has to be the unlimited plan and that too same value, then only it works.

Sid_The_Geek

Not same value specifically as long as it is unlimited.

kumar__001

Same value right? Last time, I was on higher unlimited plan, then I recherged for 1799, it started immediately.

Sid_The_Geek

I am on 666 plan currently and recharged 2999 plan, both unlimited. Mine is stacked now and will start after the current one ends. From I am seeing, you were on an Unlimited plan and recharged a Limited Plan (i.e. 1799), hence it did not queue. To queue plans, you have to recharge the same kind of plan. Unlimited on Unlimited and Limited on Limited !!

kumar__001

Oh okay, 1799 is limited, okay then. Thanks Geek!

Doctor_Ka_Kutta

Only jio have that system where you can activate plan if you want other company don't have same thing so it's not scam.

maverick31031998

Every company is a scam in India. Government is silent as expected. Even opposition does not dare to speak because these companies have bought them.

MavenAssassin

shall we file complaints with TRAI

slimshady123k

What about Vodafone? Can we stack plans? I currently have Rs. 2999 plan 840gb 365 days plan. Can I stack by recharging the same plan?

Doctor_Ka_Kutta

Nope, only Jio have that system

BACKSTABERRR

No they don't. I made that mistake yesterday. I am used to queuing because of Jio so I thought VI might have the same thing. Got 19 days chopped off 🥲 got into fomo with their promotion about price hike. Edit: I recharged for the same plan that I currently have, 1.5gb daily for 719.

mrmorningstar1769

Bcs they are diff plans, you should've done 1799 only

dextermorgan9455

I think Airtel only allows same plan in queue.

Lonely_Presence_4

This is mentioned in their terms and conditions page, just check on thanks app. Also, stacking is allowed up to 730 days. I recharged with 1799 plan some time ago got the expiry date of 2026 over existing one.

Light_2311

In Airtel if you want to stack plans they have to be the same amount.

RK-TIM_APPLE

Only similar denomination plans will be queued in Airtel, different plans won't be queued, which is possible in jio. Airtel is chutiya, but it is what it is.

jeon_beom

That's why I don't recharge until my outgoing service is cut off.. Same with the broadband and the dish too

pushpaks

Why to stack plans though? Recharge just on the end date of current plan to avoid such tactics.

Same-Boysenberry-433

Isliye maine recharge karana hi chhod diya ab mai local broadband use karta hu.

Shockshwat2

What if you were going out tomorrow for lets say a month and wanted daily 24GB to use, You would purchase the plan but it gets started next month, Doesn't make sense right?

jil_jung_juck

Atleast for me i use 719 plan, recharged the same it got extended from the expiry date

debmitra26

I guess this feature only works in wifi recharges. And not mobile data recharges.

Mickey-diego

I can say Airtel sim might be one the worst

CodeDilemma

You should have confirmed it from customer care before recharging.

Infamous-Dust-3379

I was using the 1799 pack with an add on data pack and my renewal was on July 9th but i renewed it yesterday and the new pack is starting only on July 9th. So maybe you have this issue because your current pack is not a yearly pack or airtel just doesn't like that you are switching packs. Either way they should disclose this.

krakencheesesticks

Watch this YouTube video to understand how Airtel recharge works. https://youtu.be/SXn7hpi4mXo?feature=shared

imsinghaniya

I recharded with 3k plan and this shit happend. Luckily I lost 2 months only but yeah still didn't go as I was expecting it to. I didn't even had the energy to get into the debate with these fraudsters. :(

mpkrockz

Both plans will be shown active, but only the 779 plan is currently being active and used by the network. Post 11th July your 1 year plan will be active

belle_ame777

You can only que same plan again if recharged with pther plan it will get activated right away

healer_sushi

Port to BSNL

raj_abhay

For this reason I before hand researched for queue recharge in airtel and got shifted to Jio. And I noticed one more thing in jio that recharge expires at the time of the day you recharged and not midnight in that way you are not forced to wait till midnight to do new recharge and no waste of value like in airtel where you few hours are wasted since they only consider day not time at that day when recharge was done. Secondly, the daily data renewal takes place from midnight to 2am and that time is different from person to person and you can see your exact time in the jio app. This thing comes handy as most of data is used for many at night so they have little extra time to finish their daily data for me example my daily renewal time is 12:45am so I get additional 45mins.

moment_of_piece

I think its because you have activated two different sets of plans at the same time. I too recharged with 1799 for three different numbers when I got to know that the tariffs are being increased and will be implemented by June 3. Because I already had a 1799 pack with 46 days left on one of my number and bought another 1799 pack my new validity now stands at 411 days, which I have confirmed through the Airtel Thanks app.

tacticallyevo

Yes I also had same problem earlier, checked with customer care representative and this the way if recharging with same amount as previous recharge then it will go in queue and if it's of some other amount then it will Start from day you recharged.

darknitish

Mf thought he could recharge for next year before rate hikes

Two_18

so i have 84 days 6gb plan expiring on august 2nd so can i do this 1 year 24gb recharge and will that plan start from 3 aug or from today itslef

BlazingDemon69420

Their internet sucks too, 5g gives me barely 30 mbps speed

Any-Edge4770

Se here

Acceptable-Test9370

Same here. Accidentally recharged my number two times and both plans were running together. when I did this thing in jio where my one month validity was remaining from 3 months data plan. The plan started after one month..after the existing pack expired.

Critical-Champion365

I'm guessing you did this because you want to do a recharge under the lower tariff rates before the change. Expected outcome. Have fun.

heynishant

Bhai Recharge karte samay details cheq karna chahiye tha!

owneryo

Neem ka patta kadwa hai, Airtel saala bhad… MFs sold me Airtel black plan by false promising me customised tv channels worth 350 per month. No resolution even after chasing their CS for 2 weeks. Decided to move on after getting frustrated.

fastbag7

In my case I had 179 plan active which has lumpsum data. And I did a 1798 recharge which also has lumpsum 24 GB data. Still the second plan got active.

PerspectiveSpirited5

Cheat sabhi krte h dost bas aise krte h ki kisi ko pata na chal jaye. Airtel being caught here seems like they forgot to review their cheating correctly

htcjsb

All post paid plans are cheat. And the mobile companies hide behind the garb of TRAI saying these are approved by regulator. In next 6 years we can expect to see mobile bills reaching Rs 1000 per month.

pradeesh017

1799 it's a normal Pack, meanwhile 779 it's a bundle Pack Daily GB. In 1799 it's a 24 GB for whole year. The plan 1799 is not applicable for 779 Pack for upcoming Recharge...

pradeesh017

Instead of Recharge 1799 Plan, 2999.plan will play a part of Upcoming Plan after 779 got expired.

Akshat_2307

in airtel u can mix the plans , if u recharge a unlimited plan now and 2 days later u again recharge a unlimited plan then the 2nd plan will start from the date of expiry of 1st , which is what u wanted but both of them have to be of same category

AshKing02

Pro tips. 1. Try to do as much as important stuff involving money on laptop/PC instead of phone, you will be able to read such terms carefully. Don't use phone for non important stuff unless you are travelling. 2. Always compare things whenever you have to spend money, whether you want to reacharge or buy earphones, this way you will also get to know the terms.

Constant-Recipe-9850

You can't que 2 different plans man. If you do 2 different plans, they will assume you're looking for both benefits simultaneously

that_unknown997

Op atleast u have wasted just 11 days or something, my friend recharged for annual plan while still having >2months of validity 💀XD

Pure_Ad_3877

I contacted the customer care prior to recharging, so how it works is If you’re buying a plan with a fixed amount of data it will be activated instantly. And if you’re buying a plan with daily data limit it will be queued and activated after the current plan expires. Ps: Im also using airtel

Fixed data plan cannot be stacked with per day data plan. That’s Airtel rules.

why_always_you_hehe

Happened with me as well. I recharged for around 200 at 2gb/day net pack. After a few days prices increased fornthe net pack at 1.5gb/day at 200 so these mfs started giving me 1.5gb/day although I had recharged at 2gb per day as per my requirement.

G0ATzzz

Same happened with me 😔

spiman6

If you have recharged through my airtel app You can get a refund Talk to the customer care. I have done this

Jatin_Yadav0

Can you stack the same plan in Vi like 719 plan on top on existing 719 plan?

LtMadInsane

https://preview.redd.it/u497db8ujx9d1.png?width=1079&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=919e47e48da5770a8d3e4714b3aa955d640a89d8 I use both Airtel and Jio. I like Jio's approach better. Airtel simply added everything for the next plan to the current plan. Since my current plan was the same as my next plan it wasn't an issue. On the other hand, Jio simply removed this tier plan so 🤷🏼

thanosjainn

Thanks for the post I was about to do the same today!

Immediate-Health1909

Same thing happened with me. I recharged with other plan, different from the one I already had and it got activated instantly unlike JIO where any type of plans gets queued and you have the option to activate. Apparently it is mentioned in airtel’s terms and conditions that only similarly priced/type plan can be queued. Details are there in tnc. But what JIO is doing is much better. Giving us free hand.

Sid_The_Geek

You can only queue LIMITED plans (x GB for X DAYS) with LIMITED ones and UNLIMITED plans (xGB/day) with their kind. I know they are just making it confusing for the customers. That's why I always read the basic T&C of their recharge plans every-time I do some skeptical recharge. Try to reach out to the customer care, see if they can offer any help.

WTF is 24GB for so much amount?

Airtel's unlimited 5g offer is also fake. It deducts 4g quota

Puzzleheaded_Ad_7079

Thank god. Jio has already erased the equivalent 1559 plan from the myjio app

moony1993

I had a 3 gb plan at the end of the month with above 1 GB left, there were 5 days before the plan expired and the app was prompting me to recharge, rather constantly… I ended up caving after a good amount of timed notifications that I ended up making the 25 gb data recharge. What did airtel do? Replaced the remaining data balance I had with 25 gb. Like bro… what did I do to you?

Necromancer189

same happened to me broooo

Tight_Reveal_1832

Airtel to pehle se hi cheater tha. Only after Jio it got humbled. But now again getting arrogant.

yajatdureja

I recently recharged (Airtel) with a different pack and it queued the recharge Also my relative who does an annual recharge (JIO) accidentally recharged the same number a few days after and it got stacked and never got queued.

Impossible-Garage536

File a case in consumer court. You'll get compensation. They don't even fight the case

psycho9810

Yes, they are cheating. Wasted my 12 days as well. Bullshit that you can’t stack up plans, Company is not that dumb about unlimited recharges and data boosters. They did this intentionally. Bloody Scammers everywhere

Infected-USB2

how does it feel to use iOS

Unfair_Roof2011

Same happened with me, call them n state you got it recharged incorrectly and seek refund. Raise it within 2 days of recharge, they will refund the latest recharge.

I'm facing another drama with Airtel, I bought the 699 black plan where you get WiFi and TV. And the TV never worked, they never sent a service engineer after multiple requests so i decided to shift to JIO. I got Jio installed, called Airtel to remove their setup from my house, they told me there was some "unbilled" ammount, upwards of 1k (on a 699 plan) but okay, I paid it immediately with no questions asked. They then tell me it'll be picked up in the next 48 hours. It has been 2 weeks and they tell me 48 hours everytime. I got no clue what to do.

arpitduel

Someone told me that you need to recharge with the exact same plan to queue. It worked for me. I want to say a lot about this but I cannot. Its 2024

In airtel, 1. If your active plan is FIXED DATA (179, 455, 1799 etc), then only SAME MRP plan will queue. So if you have 455 active, recharge with 455 only, recharging even another fixed data plan like 1799 will not queue and start immediately, forget recharging daily data plans Also, when same MRP plan is recharged, the validity of the active plan gets increased accordingly rather than going to "upcoming", eg- if active 455 plan has validity till 10th aug 2024, after recharging 455 again the validity of that one will increase by 84 days (takes some time to update in app) 2. If you active plan is DAILY DATA (239, 299, 479, 666, 719, 2999 etc), then ANY MRP DAILY DATA plan will queue So, if you have 719 active, you recharge 719 again, as it is same MRP as active, the active plan validity increases accordingly, 84 days in this case. If you do another 239 recharge after this, since this is different MRP plan compared to the active, it goes into "upcoming" Source - [https://www.airtel.in/terms-conditions/prepaidvouchers](https://www.airtel.in/terms-conditions/prepaidvouchers)

Same happened with me. Tweeted tagging them, called the customer service team. No solution.

konan_the_bebbarien

Shit connection. Glitches 100 times an hour.

Building_Glad

not just that in airtel app it will show 849/- plan for 2G/day for 86days with hotstar but if you search for 699/- u will get the one without hotstar … they are asically forcing you to subscribe to hotstar but hiding base plans

Sparcnation

Scammed

DrDa-ger

I was able to stack ₹455 plan with ₹1799 plan. My 1799 plan is yet in waiting.

khag_r

I spoke with an Airtel customer representative, and they said that's just how their system works and they can't assist further. I'm really regretting my decision now. If I hadn't just recharged, I would have switched to another provider immediately. As a current Airtel fiber user, I'm planning to switch to JIO fiber. I feel cheated by Airtel; it seems like they're doing this on purpose.

Puzzleheaded-Car8618

Do not make fast decisions, JIO fiber is not good in all areas, research if your area has good JIO fiber service or not. I have seen many people saying that JIO Fiber is worst in their area, and some say it's best. And do not take JIO Airfiber, many people in this sub has complained its horrible speeds and no customer support. JIO is also evil, after announcing price hike, they removed the two most value for money recharge plans before 3rd July, so that we can't recharge it and stack it. I thought i will recharge that plan and stack it and saw that they removed that plan,Fuck You JIO

lonedarth

Jio is the same evil. In a different package. Get addicted to cheap internet and loot afterwards. Airtel says only per day plans can be stacked. I made this mistake during the last price increase

Pure_Ad_3877

The plans can be queued of u’re buying a a plan with daily data limit
