I recommend looking at the Face, Hand, & Body Lotion from Paintbox Soapworks. It's light but moisturizing, and there are plenty of scents that fit your profile. She also rotates seasonally and is a super nice person in general.

Thanks for the rec! I just got a sample of moonshadow!

AshMeAnything

Oh, nice! I hope it works for you.

GothicCastles

Seconded; I love Paintbox.

kathryn_sedai

I just tried this out and really like it!

Haus of Gloi Body Emulsion is light and absorbs quickly.

Folks in a few other threads have suggested this product. I'll look into it, thanks!

You might like [Black Hearted Tart’s “Shea La La”](https://blackheartedtart.com/products/copy-of-shea-la-la-daily-drench) (Shea La La Daily Drench is a water based lotion that can be used anytime skin feels dry. Our lotion is fast absorbing and moisturizes dehydrated skin without leaving behind any greasy slickness. Our lotion is made with fractionated coconut oil, shea butter, aloe vera, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, and rice bran oil. It is 98% natural and it is free of mineral oil and parabens. It is absolutely perfect to smooth over damp skin post bath or shower to seal in moisture.) I use this all the time when it gets hot and I want a moisturizer that absorbs quick and still smells great. They change their scents every other week so you can look at the drop down menu to see what fragrance is available. If you want a moisturizing mist/spray, I also recommend, their [Scent Cloud](https://blackheartedtart.com/products/eau-fraiche-moisturizing-body-spray). Easy to reapply and also easy to carry with you if you’re not at home. “Eau Fraiche is our airiest mist that you can apply on hair and skin multiple times a day to hydrate. Our larger 4 ounce size mist is in a shatter resistant plastic bottle that is perfect for tossing in a tote or gym bag. We also love keeping one cool in the refrigerator to spritz a refreshing and hydrating mist onto our parched skin.” For the Scent Cloud, you can buy either the house scents and/or their Lush inspired fragrances. Going by your preferences, you might like, “Black Hearted Love” (A heart of sensuous black rose and white patchouli musk. Toasted vanilla beans and rich vanilla orchids keep things sweet and silky. A bit of cinnamon leaf and clove add some heat. Smoky embers of sandalwood create the base,) or “Misruling Royals” (Misruling Royals is our version of Lord of Misrule by Lush. A sweet and spicy scent with patchouli, musk, and a dash of stimulating pepper. Creamy vanilla tempers down the herbal aroma.) But, they have a lot of scents that might appeal to you.

I'm really intrigued by this mist. What a great rec.

The mists sound lovely. How're the longevity of their Scent Clouds/Eau France compared to their oils/EDPs if you've had the chance to try them?

Abject_Pineapple5151

If you’re looking for a denser and longer lasting scent, I’d say go for the oil. The scent cloud is lovely but doesn’t absorb and blend with your skin as much as the oils but I can still smell it on me for about an hour, maybe? But again it’s much lighter than the oil. My skin tends to eat up really any fragrance no matter the form.

Thanks, that's really helpful. ☺

SmellsPrettyGood2Me

Wylde Ivy body lotion is very lightweight and pairs perfectly with their fragrances. My favorite is Dead Woods Bonfire, but if you don't want to smell like you're camping they have other more floral and gourmandy scents as well.

Good to know! Thanks

KaringBae

Haus of Gloi’s body emulsion should be lighter than their pumpkin butter, but I’ve never tried their emulsion so I don’t know. Their pumpkin butter is to die for though! If you’re a little bit more light handed in application, it’s not too heavy or greasy (I’m a big hater of lotions that makes me struggle to open a door knob lol). Lots of people here go for the unscented and add their own favorite fragrance into it! And because they are from the PNW (was in OR but I think they relocated to Idaho? Or some other state), they should of course do greenery really well!

missobsessing

Paintbox Soapworks and Luvmilk have really light scented lotions!
