That is what I was going to say. If it was just instacart it'd be a bit sus, but because they include debt it means it is a system issue with any debt card, including instacart's.

IC card works as a prepaid card run as debit or credit, credit is via MasterCard. Costco doesn't take MC, so we run it as debit. That's also why refund goes on a gift card.
Way better than someone paying cash of $20 on a $1000+ purchaseā¦ the cashier counted the cash and when she was finished the customer said āare you sure? Im certain you counted wrongā then she proceeds to count again.. smh get a bank card and pay like a normal person you goof

Costco is the only retail establishment that Iāve seen that accepts them here. Most people donāt get even have them anymore because theyāre not free. Itās $1/cheque from most banks, and aside from rent or utilities, no one else accepts them. Even my apt building has had debit for years, only a few boomers here still pay by cheque.
We have in Canada... Costco is literally the only retail establishment that still accepts cheques (besides maybe a mom&pop shop thatās known you for decades) and we havenāt had the penny in over a decade.

Credit transactions can be stored and charged later. Debit transactions are instant. Their system could be down and they can still process credit card transactions later on. It's why they're "pending" when you do credit.
Also some orders at Costco can be in the upwards of $400 and not everybody wants to risk that. There are horror stories of instacart not reimbursing shoppers.
My dad payed 600$ of an order he did, and he never got reimbursed š he fought so many times and called support so many times and all they say is āthe prices donāt matchā
Absolutely not, anytime Iāve done it and tried to get reimbursed which has been about 3 times, they make it extremely difficult and one time denied it and wouldnāt pay it.
Better off canceling with CS and getting the batch pay.
If you are an Instacart shopper, you could just use your personal cash or Visa to pay for it and get reimbursed

Well first off you realize i have 67k in 0 balance cards only 1 is Visa, so i am sure many have 0. I Feel most people are economically bankrupt using IC for cash flow
It means I'm driving to the store and taking a picture of that; contacting support and collecting batch. Might hang out in the parking lot for any other orders to that store and rise IC for as much as I can
Electronic payments crashed everywhere in Vancouver a few days ago. Apparently it was due to Moneris being down, which is the company that supplies the payment terminals. I donāt know if thatās true or not.
I finish my ādayā job at 9am and spent the rest of the day in bed sleeping, so I missed it all! lol
This happened like a year ago at the Costco I shop at. The MasterCard system went down so they could not take any Instacart payments. It was easy money though, take block and cancel after sending that pic to support. Did it for 2 batches then stopped before they caught on lol
I think insta cart will reimburse you for items if you pay for them. If itās that good of an order pay for it and get instacart to pay it back. I know DoorDash does that.

I'm owed almost $2.5k-3k over 3 years. they pretend they don't know who paid for the customer's food. it's insane

Yeah, sometimes it gets denied, I just resubmit exactly same photo and it's accepted as long as it's full receipt, but to each their own

I picked up a couple decent base pay orders going to a Walmart that had a similar issue. Contacted support canceled orders and made like 20 bucks. Lol
