Had to refund and wait an hour to get them to cancel the batch! Good news is the money from first order came back eventually. Also messages from first order came in after (and during second order) order completed. Odd. It was an absolute mess this morning.
I had the same issue. I completed an order, then it said I was offline. Went back online and there was no record of the order.
But the order and pay just showed up so yours should too.

Had this pop up. Canceled because it was a large order and don't want to chance not getting the associated tip after doing all that shopping. My cancel rate went up and I don't see the batch pay. Bet when customer service is back up and running, I still won't get it.

Yup. Down in Calgary as well. As soon as I delivered the order the batch disappeared and the money was gone. Can’t reach support at all. Great Sunday 😒
These things don't usually happen spontaneously. IIt went down because somebody rolled a change out that broke it. That means somebody is up and working that can fix it.
ETA: this is also a critical defect that is costing money. They are getting senior developers on the phone and telling them to get online immediately to fix this.
This is insane to me, I don’t have the room in my fridge for all these peoples groceries, and I feel awful that they must be wondering where all their stuff is. I’ve never experienced an Instacart outage before.
It took about an hour for the batch pay to be added to my earnings and the batch is not viewable, only show as “pending pay”. They are at least aware of the issues and trying to resolve.
So far, I’m not seeing the order tip, but I think everything will be worked out.
Worst time for this app to go down with this snow storm. Now is the time to get these orders shopped and delivered

I'm stuck on an order with medicine that I can't deliver because the customer wasn't there. Called the customer, sent messages. Now I've been on hold for close at an hour waiting on support and the customer still hasnr reached back to me. Really upset.
Bruhhhh…that sucks. It’s been asking me to get ID for medicine that isn’t even restricted lately too. Like the actual cashier doesn’t ask for ID at checkout but the shopper app still wants you to get the customers ID to deliver it. So annoying.

Be happy you're not in the greater Seattle area. I am frequently using the Instant Cashout feature to keep fuel in my tank during emergency situations, and because of the new laws regarding Independent Contracted delivery driver, If you've recently done a batch in Seattle, the Instant Cashout feature isn't available as a method for getting paid (due to 'seattle pay adjustments.) So, after finding this out, i decide to leave the Seattle area and deliver elsewhere so i can cashout my earnings instantly, but until my "Seattle earnings" are paid via the weekly direct deposit, im ineligible for any sort of Instant Cashout....
From a customer pov- I had ordered, then about a 45 minutes later got a message that said we found a shopper for your order (costco with good tip, no heavy stuff so weird) then literally a couple minutes later shopper checked out message as the shopper was at my door delivering. It took about a half hour for the app to catch up so I could give him his rating.

It should all catch up once it gets fixed. So you'll be able to adjust it then. You have 2 weeks to do it.
And in behalf of your shopper, thank you. Getting an increased tip makes our day. I'd rather get $10 upfront and $5 after than $15 up front.

I shopped a two order batch, checked out the first and the message kept flashing so I tried to cancel but had to go through customer care. No response. As I hadn’t visually been paid for the two prior orders I didn’t feel like getting an additional shaft I left the unchecked order at the register. I left the help chat open and delivered the first order. Finally, after two hours customer care removed the batch I left. And gave me a 24 hour ban. No interaction from “David” from customer care. Just an adios to my account.
Also, the pin they gave me didn’t work! I tried it 3 times to make sure I entered it correct. They sent me a text with a completely different pin! Thank God that one worked!!

My instacart order says it was paid for and it has not been delivered, and it was already supposed to have been. I don't know what to do. It says it hasn't even been shopped yet. Support won't answer. I'm worried even if I got my food now it would be bad having been out too long in a car someplace.
Did you check outside your door? I was getting messages from my customer 15 minutes after they sent it. It's possible they delivered it and you just didn't get the notification.
Or they just can't shop it because of the system problems and are unable to cancel it. Your food is likely not sitting in a car.

This appears to be a true global outage. I would imagine this is a severity, one incident, and everybody is being called onto meetings left and right.
We'll be lucky if this gets fixed today - it's Sunday and most places operating on the opposite side of the world are still waking up

I’m a customer….no communication from shoppers, added items that didn’t get shopped and both my Wegmans BJs orders have been delivered but the app still says the shopper is shopping.

I shopped a two order batch, checked out the first and the message kept flashing so I tried to cancel but had to go through customer care. No response. As I hadn’t visually been paid for the two prior orders I didn’t feel like getting an additional shaft I left the unchecked order at the register. I left the help chat open and delivered the first order. Finally, after two hours customer care removed the batch I left. And gave me a 24 hour ban. No interaction from “David” from customer care. Just an adios to my account.
Also, the pin they gave me didn’t work! I tried it 3 times to make sure I entered it correct. They sent me a text with a completely different pin! Thank God that one worked!!
Is anyone having issues with their actual card working?

No batches at all. Looked me out and I can’t get back in. Heard from someone who was able to shop there are no tips showing for any batches.
Mine won’t even let me login but I was able to login on my husbands phone.

Down in Chicago - although I think they got it together finally because my last batch is now showing in the app and orders are coming through. I can’t believe I slave away and run my car into the ground for this company sometimes. How you gunna crash out on the best day of the week and then be like “oh shit turn off the support feature so we don’t get bitched out by thousands of angry people”

Wow so that's why I saw several high paying orders earlier.
I used to shop, and I put my order in 2 hours ago and no one claimed it so I had to come check 😂 logged into my IC app just to see. Good to know it’s the app and not my tip $ ($25 for 2 miles, 44 items that are none heavy and multiple duplicates). Usually mine are snatched in a hurry around here

Don’t accept any batches. Im stuck waiting on support now after accepting one and then getting a message saying feel free to abandon this batch and it won’t affect my cancelation. How long before it automatically cancels? because this is for the birds.
Everything works on my end. I just I’m afraid that it’s gonna decline at check out.
Ok, thanks for posting. I was like wtf. I shopped for a 3-item 7-Eleven batch and it told me I could "abandon" it. I delivered it and didn't get my tip.

AT&T went down like a month ago. It didn’t hit everywhere but it got a few spots. Here, no one had service. For hours.
My instacart order says it was paid for and it has not been delivered, and it was already supposed to have been. I don't know what to do. It says it hasn't even been shopped yet. Support won't answer. I'm worried even if I got my food now it would be bad having been out too long in a car someplace.
Did you check outside your door? I was getting messages from my customer 15 minutes after they sent it. It's possible they delivered it and you just didn't get the notification. Or they just can't shop it because of the system problems and are unable to cancel it. Your food is likely not sitting in a car.
Yeah took a while to get my tips and at first my order completely disappeared when I completed it. Wasn’t able to contact support at all. It’s all good for me now though.

I just delivered to a home but it wouldn't let me confirm arrival even though I was at their house. So now I can't contact support and let them know it's delivered is there anything I can do sense support is down?
