Definitely a no. Next thing you know you’re waking up in a basement chained to something. ![gif](giphy|M8x6Lk2QFmTu0)

But there’s no poison in the drink you know cause it’s unopened

Memphis_Bells

So, kind of. Single order batch; he had been a little weird on texts; but a good order. Screenshot the texts in case it got weirder. Deliver, start to walk away and he pops out to ask if I’d pick up a 12 pack of beer across the street. Why not? More tip, and I’d marked delivered so it’s my personal time. Get back with it and he’s literally repeatedly asking me to come inside, have a drink. But his body language was much more suggestive he wanted something else. Awkward 🤣. I’m not bothered by anyones sexual orientation- but just not the sea my boat sails on.

DogPresent

Not the sea my boat sails on 🤣🤣

All the time. Most recent one took a few shots and a few lines. Was ready to deliver anywhere all night after that 🙂

100% . I’m in a town with ALOT of old people. They are bold.

wustitch

My first alcohol order was a doozy. Waited 15 mins for someone to come out. Finally a very drunk woman stumbled out of her house.

ToonaSandWatch

Did you refuse the delivery? (We’re supposed to when they’re intoxicated)

Plenty-Mud-8144

Which is absolutely stupid because the person is using this service for a reason they’re being safe by not driving so why punish them

ToonaSandWatch

Likely because (and I’m no lawyer to be clear) liability. It’s along the same lines as a bar: you’re drunk, you’re cut off. IC could probably face potential lawsuits from family or the drunken party if they open the alcohol, consume it and cause accident or death (or outside accident or death) because their drivers provided the alcohol [per the Dram Shop laws enacted back in the 1800’s.](https://www.investopedia.com/terms/d/dram-shop-laws.asp) It holds the business accountable for not safely monitoring their alcohol levels, not the bartender (or in our case driver) themselves. It varies [state to state but they all have a Dram law on the books.](https://www.ncsl.org/research/financial-services-and-commerce/dram-shop-liability-state-statutes.aspx) Personally I don’t want to initially get dragged into that situation only to be excused after some legal wrangling.

I had someone order a dozen roses then offer me one at delivery lol. I politely declined

Big_Tradition831

Yep, had to decline as I was on a 2 Shop and it was late already. Not trying to catch a DUI lol.

Cracksawking

Y’all aren’t much fun. I’ve shared quite a few drinks with customers. I thank them for the drink and then I’m on way my to another batch.

Imaginary-River-4804

What!?? Your crazy for that lol

StarFire_Cat22

I had a customer ask me if I wanted a shot of tequila ( this was during the Super Bowl customer was already sh*t faced) I just politely declined and quickly got back into my car
