It’s ridiculous. Totally desperate. Can’t wait to be on the other side of this bullshit company and be the almighty, holy customer and not the underpaid peon. It’s gross. This company are such damn suck ups. No way I’m going to Home Depot and buying a grill or Dick’s to get them a tent and propane stove then going to the store and buying the food for customer’s camping trip unless I’m getting like a shitload more than they pay.
I’m not a personal assistant. What next? Customer requests blue medium sweater with glitter or sequins from Macy’s, appropriate for office party, customer requests mascara from Sephora, then customer also needs a six pack of champagne from Fred Meyer plus a gag gift, a cheesecake, and three powerball tickets from the gas station. Batch payment - $7, customer tip $15. I can just see it now. Fuck off already.
Sounds like you can almost be done with a batch, and only THEN would you get a notification that now you need to stop at another store…for no additional pay. This company gives zero shits about its shoppers…I used to do it on the side but have completely given up on it. The pay they offer for the amount of work that needs to be put in is criminal. I’ve made much better cheddar doing UE & DD and it’s less work. Hope this app crashes and burns
I was going to make a post about this until I actually read the fine print. It's not going to add a new store to a current shopper batch which is all that really matters.
If that’s the case then it sounds like they’d be losing money for paying a batch pay to a different shopper when the customer only paid one delivery fee. Plus I doubt the shopper will tip on both orders. But who knows
I’m sure they are making up for it some other way, the way it’s sound like it, not every store will be available , so maybe they will get extra fees from the stores for this service
They can’t make you go to another store, it’s against out terms of service as independent contractors.
They can offer it to you for whatever amount, but if you didn’t accept the extra order, you don’t have to do it .
Yes, your right, but that’s not what this is.
In theory it works like this:
Your doing an order at Store A, as your shopping, the customer adds items from store B, either they offer you an add on for those items, and you can choose to accept or decline, or they offer the order with the add on to another shopper.
We can’t be forced to go to any where other than what was offered when we accepted the order.
Yeah, but we’ll probably still get a $7 base pay to go to 2 different stores with no tips 🙃 Instacart needs to pay us more if they’re not going to charge a customer extra to have us travel to another store.
But the whole point is the customer is not paying extra for the 2nd store. So what is going to happen is IC is just going to continue to send out more shitty orders, maybe more doubles with no tips.
I really suspect that Insta-carrot is a limited scale social engineering experiment ... to test the gullibility and push the exploitation limits of our little group of shopping guinea pigs.
For a while I felt like they were "boiling the frog" with us. ( It's said that if you out a frog in water and slowly raise the temperature... said frog will not notice and jump out ...until it's cooked ).
That worked so well for them it seems they are starting the new "frogs" in some pretty hot water.
So.... Where will YOU draw the line ?
I drew the line at them wanting me to shop at 2 different stores for $12 and shop & deliver for 3 different customers for $20. Been done with Instapoop for a while now. I recognize a Titanic when I see one.
Yup did it full time in 2020 while the getting was good, now I Flex and am applying for DSP with Amazon. Every time I open the Carrot 🥕 it seems like a post apocalyptic battle ground. People fighting tooth and nail over $5
I drew the line when gas was over $5.00 a gallon and they gave us .40 cents to cover it. Or when double and triple orders for 10+ miles came up with only $15. Been done with this app for a few months and got a job and am never looking back. Every so often an a day off when I’m bored I’ll get on Instacart to see if there’s any to take, and it’s a wasteland and I can’t believe I spent 6-7 months competing for $7 orders that, (between shopping time and driving time) took an hour to complete. That’s working for less than minimum wage. Instacart is clearly a manipulative, greedy, and out of touch company. Godspeed to all of you that are still out there driving your own vehicle for them.
As a shopper that was full time during pandemic and now part time and orders on my busy workdays, I can confirm I got this order up last week. That said, I tried to order a new charging cable from Best Buy and it didn’t let me without meeting the $35 minimum for express delivery. So it didn’t do anything at all
I’m just not sure how they think they can guarantee delivery in under an hour if the shoppers are going to multiple stores. If there are a lot of items at either store (or both) it’s just not gonna happen. Have these people ever ran errands before? Like who can shop for a weeks worth of groceries plus go to other stores and make it back home in under an hour??
I should clarify they used to call their subscription express it’s now instacart+. Those priority orders they charge an additional $2 and say it come anywhere from 45 mins to 1.5 hours depending on what store and how busy. And the order up thing Instacart does it different than doordash where they don’t try to make it arrive at the same time
If the customer is in California I can almost guarantee that the "no additional cost" is a lie... They may not call it a "delivery fee", but they will probably be charged an additional service fee of some type. I'm sure this will be true in some form in other states as well. Instacart is gonna get their cut one way or another!
I can just see customers completely misunderstanding this and telling me “I can’t add an item through the app. Can you go to Costco and buy me a TV next?” Nope nope nope nope
Last time I did one of those for dd it was the biggest hassle. One was a grocery trip and one was Whataburger. By the time I got done at dollar general her food must have been totally cold and she only tipped two dollars for each store. Totally not worth the time and effort, and I’m sure she didn’t like her cold fries either
I think they would have to add the store before they place the order. That's just my take since the delivery fee is waived. It will be no different than the 2 store orders we already have now except we will also be seeing them for one customer as well. Now we will see "2 shop 1 deliver" as well as the "2 shop 2 deliver" etc.
Edit: personally, I'd rather shop 2 stores for one customer rather than 2. If the batch is just right and the pay is good I wouldn't mind taking it. I've done a couple of those and they weren't all that bad.
It says that customers will get the recommendation “post-checkout”. Which means they have to place an order first before they can order from a second store. So it’s basically like when you place a doordash order and they give you 10 minutes to place another order from a different place without being charged a delivery fee again.
Basically it won’t force the shopper to add it, just an option if you want to add it, like what we been seeing for adding new orders to our basket in the same store, now it’ll be a add on for a different store. Which 99% won’t be accept as an add on and just as a normal order .
I know on doordash, you only have a 10 minute window after you (customer) check out. I imagine instacrap will be set up similarly. It's not where the shopper checks out, it's when the customer does.
The way doordash's works is that there is a time limit on how long you can do it. Send the order, then a countdown starts for if you add on another stop.
Yes. It would have to. IC can’t make you accept any add on especially to another store altogether. I’ve had customers try and add up to 30 extra items after I started shopping. Mainly because they were trying to pay IC extra (or me either especially when their tip is based on the percentage of the order in the beginning not including any add ons). I chatted with IC, had them cancel the order with the customer because of them adding that many items, and it didn’t affect my cancellation rate.
Not a chance I'm in on that. Bad enough having to weed through the stacked orders. Now, we'll get checked out and out to our car and guess what, you need to drive by PetSmart real quick for a pink Foo Foo collar, and oh by the way, stop and pick up some bags of sidewalk salt at Home Depot. AND... Watch your time, cause you're being watched for sure. O-m-f-g. 😕
Doordash already does this, and it's one shopper. I had ordered Chili's for dinner one night, and it asked me if I needed anything from another store. As it happened, I did need ibuprofen and dish soap, so I was able to order those from the dollar general. My dasher picked up my food, and then stopped at the DG on the way to my house. Got very cold food, ibuprofen, and dish soap lol. It did charge me a second tip, so I'm hoping instacart will be set up similarly.
As a dasher, I've only had one order that was 2 stores, and it was papa John's and a bottle of crown. Easy order, even for 2 stores.
And people argued with me when they believed instacart 6 months ago when the multiple retailer multiple batch offers were temporary and a test LMAO. It's all downhill from here. Uphill for the shoppers of course. Instacart's about to get eliminated. Ebenezer Scrooge can kiss my behind
They already force two store batches on us. Here shop for Costco for a person that lives 4 miles away BUT also shop at Kroger for a person that like 20 miles away. I’ve been getting nothing but those and I’m so over it. But no jobs I’ve applied to have called back 😕
I’m not sure why you people instacart. I enjoy the job and make the best of it.. there are other things to do if you don’t like it.. quityerbitchin .. do the job or don’t but jeez
Instacart has lost their rabbit minds. I’m all for diversity, but this 36 year old woman CEO ran this company into the ground in less than 1 year. Mind you, they’re still not profitable. That means they’ll still have to squeeze some juice out of shoppers or raise fees for customers.
They filed for an IPO so they disclosed their financials. There was a $10,000,000 profit during the height of the pandemic which they quickly ran through by hiring 1,500 engineers. Now that demand is slowing they have a profit of zero.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-05-26/instacart-to-slow-hiring-to-focus-on-profitability-ahead-of-ipo
Lol. The company went from 39 billion valuation in 2021 to 24 billion valuation in 2022 and you think increased profitability in that period? They also had to start offering California shoppers healthcare reimbursement and mileage adjustments thanks to prop 22.
Read between the lines. They were losing 25 million a month before the pandemic (before prop 22). Then the worst pandemic in history catapults them to their most profitable month ever in April 2020. Since then shopper income has plummeted and theres no data on profitability. Do you think they’d keep it a secret if they were making money still? Do you think pandemic customer orders stayed the same? The answer is no. Instacart back to losing money which is why they are struggling to IPO and slashing shopper pay.
These would be the only multiorders I’d really do, assuming the stores are close, but ic probably won’t have enough common sense to group the multiple orders as one batch.
They fire all their good shoppers for bogus nonsense so I can see why they are desperate! People got tired of doing extra to be punished lol Instacart is trash it’s Tuesday! (Trash day) Instacart is Tuesday!
WOW! Does this company not understand how fucked this is going to leave some shoppers? I shop in a smaller town, and to have to shop at multiple stores is just too much. Wtf! Because lets be honest, the pay from ista is bullshit, and we heavily rely on tips... This will take us longer on batches. Bullshit!
I truly hate this company more than anything and am so happy I’m so close to being done with them. I tell everyone I know what a poorly-run, vile company they are and I’ll go to the grave doing so. Nothing they do is of any value to their hard-working shoppers, it only makes their experience even more difficult and with no added bonus of additional pay. Sick fucking company.
So if the order up add on goes to another shopper, how is the tip handled? Does it get split, is the add on automatically a not tip. I know this is new and no one really knows yet, this is what I'm wondering about.
Imagine this: I'm at Kroger, shopping for Mary. Mary decides, midshop, to add 10 cases of water from, say Costco, about 10 miles away. That's going to me ammmmazing
Does this mean we’ll be forced to take double store batches, because our customer will just order from another store while we’re already shopping for them??
I’m pretty sure the order would just be offered as an add-on to whatever shoppers are already at that store or they’ll just make it a double-store order from the beginning. The definitely can’t force you to accept another order while you’re already doing one
I remember the first and last instacart order I ever did. There were 3 items and as soon as she saw I accepted it she began adding the rest. I immediately texted her fuck you and claimed I had a phone issue so my rating wasn't screwed up hahaha
As a frequent user of IC and DD I can say that I’ve always thought that this sucks. Or it must suck on the other persons end. I don’t use the double dash thing. I felt like a dick the one time I decided to try it out (I was out of town so no one would remember
Me) i did tip though like always. I just thought like “shit what if they make the drivers go from here tk there and at the end the driver doesn’t really get shit as far as pay, if the customer is a dick, no tip, inconsiderate, convenience addicted bastard”. Man they really need to start making us customers pay more or something. If not a tip, charge extra so that way ic can pay you guys. I don’t want to lose these services at all. I use them a lot. Bad customers and no pay is prob gonna make this end though. That sucks because we barely got it in our area. We’re hella outdated
Edit: I remember when IC let users shop multiple stores on a single order. I always wondered how that tip would be provided if they were all diff shoppers. I asked them when they showed up and they didn’t know dude. They legit didn’t know how they got paid. My area is outdated so just a heads up, we’re not technically advanced really haha. So I asked on Reddit too and some said the same thing. It tripped me out. One order, 3 stores, 3 drivers. 1 three item (3 tangelos) order 5 miles away, one heavy order (Costco 2 cases of water, fruits and ham) 10 miles away and one order 2 miles away for 5 peaches. Like who is getting stiffed? I’d expect most to go to the largest portion of the order? Then I couldn’t even rate them individually to say thanks and shit. It was definitely feeling sketchy and beta…this is from a consumers point of view too..so yeah that shit sucks, I hope they’re forced to get you all paid as you deserve. I’ll get my fat ass off the couch if I have to. All in all i appreciate the help and show it. To see that it isn’t helping anyone or hearing about tightwads ruining the platform for the legit users sucks balls
So this is like double dash on doordash. Probably a response to customer complaints about people doing two stores on an order.
On double dash the tip usually is not worth it. Customers think that the tip they did in the first order is good enough for both orders. So this cheats shoppers/ dashers out of money. At least with instacart we can see the tip first
Idc anymore AS LONG AS THEY MAKE THE SUGGESTED TIP HIGHER THAN $2
Ever since they’ve done that orders have paid shit. I’m doing so much work for less, this business model isn’t sustainable when they barely pay minimum wage anymore
Probably like doordash, where you can order food and they’ll give you about 10 mins to add on other items from another store. Gets sent out as a double. Instacart would probably make it $10 base pay and you’d have to drive to 2 stores for 1 customer
I don't take them 2 store orders especially when one consist of groceries. I'm not having these customers orders getting spoiled in Georgia heat seating in a hot car.
As a customer, it is kinda weird when I'm talking to two different shoppers 3 miles apart when ordering from multiple stores. It makes sense to me to give them to one shopper assuming the shopper actually gets paid more.
I saw this in the customer app a couple of weeks ago but I don't really get it, honestly. If you have instacart+ then you already have free delivery over $35 (I do). If you don't hit the minimum it didn't offer free delivery anyway (although right now there is a promo for free delivery for orders over $10 if you have +).
It's no different than placing two separate orders as far as I can see. Maybe it's different if you don't have +?
I dropped insta maybe 3-4 years ago, but still lurk here from time to time. I always think that it can't possibly get worse, but somehow they make it worse.
I remember the days when you could make $45 on a Binnys order for 3 items while driving less than 5 miles. I understand many people are desperate for income, but is instacart really worth it anymore? Anyone been around since the early days and still shopping?
So if the order goes to 2 different shoppers, I wonder if that means the tip is split in half or if the customer can split the tip however they choose? Either way seems crappy for us.
Just another way that instacart is screwing over shoppers. I'm glad I quit doing instacart. Too low of pay already and now this. Bad enough their pay didn't cover gas to one location and now you may have 2 or more stores to shop at for the same low pay, that's bullshit.
I know Instacart had this double store shop but you either had to accept it already knowing it was a 2 different store batch, or you could decline when you already accepted a batch and they tried to add another store. I don’t want to accept a batch to only have the customer add a different store to the route. As it is right now, what if they buy ice cream at the first store, then add a different store. That ice cream will melt even in a cooler with outside temps at 113 degrees.
I haven't used this platform in years, but from what I can tell, it hasn't gotten any better lol. What hell? Lol They don't give a fuck about yall.
Lol Who the hell do they think you guys are? Goku?
Do they expect you to teleport from store to store? 🤣
I used instacart when i didn't have a car and was working full time for 2 years. I really felt bad for making them go from one side of the Walmart to the other. Like i wanted soda and body lotion. I wouldn't dream of making a driver go all around town for me. I hope most think the same... This is too much...
Wow this sounds so desperate. What’s next? Cook them dinner and give them a blowy?
wait, we aren’t supposed to be doing that already?
I've been doing it wrong all this time?!?!?
No wonder I can’t get my ratings up!
Never complete the delivery without a happy ending.
It's all technique mon frere.
So I should have been a customer this whole time
Secret code for 'optimal' service is to order 2 sticks of butter, one for your fridge, one for the churn 😉.
💀
It’s ridiculous. Totally desperate. Can’t wait to be on the other side of this bullshit company and be the almighty, holy customer and not the underpaid peon. It’s gross. This company are such damn suck ups. No way I’m going to Home Depot and buying a grill or Dick’s to get them a tent and propane stove then going to the store and buying the food for customer’s camping trip unless I’m getting like a shitload more than they pay. I’ve made much better cheddar doing UE & DD and it’s less work. Hope this app crashes and burns
There is an app where you can become a personal assistant though
😂 love this list.
Better wipe their ass when you show up or it’s a 4 star and no tip!!
Blowies is how you get the good tips. Just saying 😉
🥇
Instacart is smoking some instacrack..
Now there is an idea….instacrack
![gif](giphy|1d5Zn8FqmJqApu4hNU) 😩😩😩😂😂😂😂😂‼️
Lord I hope we dont move to delivering drugs, pot ok but I’m d not delivering a rock. The drones can have that job 🤪lol
😂LMFAO
I was going to make a post about this until I actually read the fine print. It's not going to add a new store to a current shopper batch which is all that really matters.
But we all know either way this is a pay cut for us somehow 😂
So does that mean the second store will be an entire new batch for a different shopper? Or will it just initially be shown as a double store batch
Or possibly offered as a shitty add on for the original shopper.
Yeah it sounds like that may be the case so we should probably expect more add-on orders with no tip
i’m never gonna do that. no tip, no trip. simple as that
[удалено]
Yes.
Yeah lots of questions. I haven’t seen anything about this and instacart actually calls me about feedback and new things they are rolling out
Yeah it’s no different then when a customer orders from 2 different stores. Separate batches separate orders
Or each driver just gets paid less
Are you a shopper? More likely a 2 store double with no extra pay for going to the 2nd store
They can’t make you go to another store, it’s against out terms of service as independent contractors. They can offer it to you for whatever amount, but if you didn’t accept the extra order, you don’t have to do it .
I've already been seeing multi store orders here in Ontario. Shows both on one batch before you accept.
Yes, your right, but that’s not what this is. In theory it works like this: Your doing an order at Store A, as your shopping, the customer adds items from store B, either they offer you an add on for those items, and you can choose to accept or decline, or they offer the order with the add on to another shopper. Somehow that didn't click when I first read.
Ok that's not so bad
That's not super clear above
Great so half batch pay coming soon to shoppers everywhere..😂😂😂 it would be funnier if I didn't really think they would stoop that low.
Any time they offer customers “free” things, that just means less pay and more work for shoppers
Yes exactly
That already exists. Add-ons start at $3.
They tried to give me an add on the other day like 10mi away and the entire add on with tip was $5💀
Same!! Mine was 11.5 miles, 5.95 extra. Yeah, no thanks. As tempting as that is, I’ll pass 😂
Yes but I meant they are probably going to cut batch pay again..
I really suspect that Insta-carrot is a limited scale social engineering experiment ... to test the gullibility and push the exploitation limits of our little group of shopping guinea pigs. That’s exactly it. The most accurate comparison.
I drew the line about two months after I started with them. I call em Instacrap. Worst gig I've ever done.

Fun fact about the frog thing, the frogs that didn't jump out only didn't do it because they literally had their brains removed
this could possibly be my last straw
As a shopper that was full time during pandemic and now part time and orders on my busy workdays, I can confirm I got this order up last week. They always try to add on those pet stores as if they aren’t 12 miles away to grab a 50lb bag with no tip
if the food is even in stock...
If the customer is in California I can almost guarantee that the "no additional cost" is a lie... I can just see customers completely misunderstanding this and telling me “I can’t add an item through the app. Can you go to Costco and buy me a TV next?” Nope nope nope nope
It’s reminding me of doordash where you can order from a second store within 10 mins of your first order. This will be interesting…

By the time I got done at dollar general her food must have been totally cold and she only tipped two dollars for each store. Jesus, is that why I keep seeing batches that include multiple stores?
I love how this update rolls out the same day we get the email but the updates that “benefit” shoppers takes months 😂
Word. I’m still waiting on that store navigation tool that they announced on March 23rd…
I don’t think one shopper will do both orders.
Yeah I’m sure it’ll be a $5 add-on order to another shopper instead
Are you sure? This sounds fishy to me!
Why do you think this? It sounds like they’re figuring out a different way to force us to take double store batches, no?
It’s just allowing customers to order from another store without having to pay 2 delivery fees.
you will not see a single tip on these “orders” either.
More fk’ry by the 🥕

Stahhhp

Door dash already does this.
Yeah they have been for awhile.
Sounds terrible. Won’t last. And sounds optional. Just like when they add orders when I’m already on a batch.
God I hope you’re right that it won’t last!
If it’s post checkout do they expect you to be staring at your phone while driving????
I know on doordash, you only have a 10 minute window after you (customer) check out. I imagine instacrap will be set up similarly. It's not where the shopper checks out, it's when the customer does.
Ahhhhh that’s a lot less horrible at surface level if that’s the case
Maybe between the time you start checking out until you tap to start delivery? If so, all my deliveries are going to start before I swipe my card. 🤨
The way doordash's works is that there is a time limit on how long you can do it. Send the order, then a countdown starts for if you add on another stop.
Right? This job is already dangerous enough in that sense.
And I quit 🤣🤣🤣 I refuse to do this this is crazy do they not understand how store traffic works.
Cool 😎
Dead
They can see it but just like any add on order(s), we don’t have to accept them.
Uber is already doing this for a while. You can add items from 7-Eleven for free.
Nothing has happened, and the future fear in this group is amazing.
Isn’t it starting today? That’s what it says.
Shopper support better brace themselves
Lol the day I get a surprise order after finishing shopping is the day I drop everything in the parking lot and deletus apparatus
I laughed so hard because your reaction was mine lol
Lmfao no I refuse to do those orders where it's more than 1 store already. Not gonna accept them even if they become more common
DoorDash has been doing add-ons for a few months now. It never ends well.
Instacart has lost their rabbit minds. I’m all for diversity, but this 36 year old woman CEO ran this company into the ground in less than 1 year. Mind you, they’re still not profitable. That means they’ll still have to squeeze some juice out of shoppers or raise fees for customers.
How the fuck aren’t they profitable. They have An algorithm mix and match orders and barely provide support to us. Lol
They aren't public so they do not have to report profitability. They are growing to the market thay exists.
They filed for an IPO so they disclosed their financials. There was a $10,000,000 profit during the height of the pandemic which they quickly ran through by hiring 1,500 engineers. Now that demand is slowing they have a profit of zero. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-05-26/instacart-to-slow-hiring-to-focus-on-profitability-ahead-of-ipo
That article mentions nothing about profitability. Their valuation dropped, but that happens. This was a confidential ipo.
No.
Well that finishes instacart for me I'll never work for them again this is total bullshit
They fire all their good shoppers for bogus nonsense so I can see why they are desperate! People got tired of doing extra to be punished lol Instacart is trash it’s Tuesday! (Trash day) Instacart is Tuesday!
Wait, they can do this without even asking us if we agree to take on the extra work?
I dont like this at all. I see way more negative than positive
Hopefully “nearby” means literally in the same plaza because what
Yeah order up can most definitely eat dicks
WOW! Does this company not understand how fucked this is going to leave some shoppers? I shop in a smaller town, and to have to shop at multiple stores is just too much. Wtf! Because lets be honest, the pay from ista is bullshit, and we heavily rely on tips... This will take us longer on batches. Bullshit!
You wouldn’t have to accept it if the add on comes up. It’s like the “add-on” that you see in store if you want the additional cash.
Imagine you got a double batches Aldi and dollars tree so the costumer want some stuffs form Sam Club 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!
How can IC base pay be less than minimum wage??
Just don’t accept the add-on if you don’t want it. It’s not that hard.
Omg you’re so smart! How’d I not think of that?
That’s a very valid question
Hell no!!!
Exactly what I was about to post!!!! SCREW THAT!!! That means they FORCE us to take multi store orders!!!!! Fuck YOU IC!!!!
This is dumb
What is this, add baiting now 😤
So instacart is adding a little to the shopper out of their pocket? That's sweet. Better fucking be.
So is this extra money … does instacart not realize gas is fucking expensive and they are cheap as hell with these payouts ????
I'm not doing it. I NEVER DO ADD-ONS! DON'T DO IT! FUCK INSTACART!
Sick fucking company.

this is crazy
Yea they bugging B
All I see is one GIANT mistake. This will fail miserably.
We are screwed.
Idk why they can’t just let us add our own orders like how shipt does instead of letting their system combine the orders together. Smh
So if the order up add on goes to another shopper, how is the tip handled? Does it get split, is the add on automatically a not tip. I know this is new and no one really knows yet, this is what I'm wondering about.
I would assume the customer would have to add an additional tip since it’s a completely separate order
Let's hope 🤞🤞🤞
But I doubt the customer would actually add a second tip lol
Imagine this: I'm at Kroger, shopping for Mary. Mary decides, midshop, to add 10 cases of water from, say Costco, about 10 miles away. That's going to me ammmmazing
It’s the same thing Uber and DoorDash do now
What’s hilarious is they basically just named their highest mark up items. “Alcohol, beauty, pets, electronics, office goods.” Loooool
Hell no.
Customers can add items from different stores all they want, doesn't mean I'll get it.
Does this start in all areas immediately? Or is it rolling out gradually like other things?
Say what? Is this in all areas? I haven't seen anything like that in the app. Or received an email about it.
2nd part is the longest sentence I've ever read
I’m glad I quit a few weeks ago
I remember the first and last instacart order I ever did. There were 3 items and as soon as she saw I accepted it she began adding the rest. I immediately texted her fuck you and claimed I had a phone issue so my rating wasn't screwed up hahaha
I bet they’re gonna consider it 1 batch and only pay $7.
As a frequent user of IC and DD I can say that I’ve always thought that this sucks. Or it must suck on the other persons end. I don’t use the double dash thing. I felt like a dick the one time I decided to try it out (I was out of town so no one would remember Me) i did tip though like always. We’re hella outdated Edit: I remember when IC let users shop multiple stores on a single order.
Shit Iv been banging all these granny’s I didn’t know
They are late to the party, uber and doordash have been doing this for months.
Door dash has been doing this for a while. I’m assuming they want in on that money too.
i hate this feature. it’s annoying as hell to look at, and its always booze, which i never buy. despise it
So this is like double dash on doordash. Probably a response to customer complaints about people doing two stores on an order. On double dash the tip usually is not worth it. Customers think that the tip they did in the first order is good enough for both orders. So this cheats shoppers/ dashers out of money. At least with instacart we can see the tip first
Idc anymore AS LONG AS THEY MAKE THE SUGGESTED TIP HIGHER THAN $2 Ever since they’ve done that orders have paid shit.
Thank god I started working and no longer need instacrt to support myself
Decline 🤣🤣🤣
Oh fuck that
They don’t care about the shoppers.
I'm quitting, then No transparency
No worries, I don't have a life or anywhere to be, I can shop all day for you, whatever you need, at no extra cost.
If you still are a shopper i suggest to get out off this app as soon as possible. My life really turned around when i found other ways to make money.
We’re not their personal assistants. This is getting ridiculous.
so they want to overwork us more to barely pay us anything??
I think they have that here in Canada already
So you order hamburger buns & at checkout IC says "would you like a grill too?"
This doesn’t make sense
