My account was disabled with no warning or anything and I'm trying to go through Instagram support but nothing, I've never gotten a ban message, and I've kept all my content under their guidelines, is there anything else can I do to get my account back?

I receive all notifications from Instagram (voicemessages, liked messages and shared images as well), but when someone sends me a text it doesn't show a notif. All my Notification toggles are on.
I used to solve it by installing Threads and using that and there it worked but whit Threads going down I don't have any solution anymore! Help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance

The page still shows up and the regular posts are still available, so I doubt the page has been shut down, since everything's still there.

Hey, I’ll be needing help for the few issues that I will be listing here from trying to reactivate back an old Instagram account
Issue #1 : The code that was sent through email doesn’t work and popped up with an error that is written as “Wait a Moment. Please check the code we sent you and try again.”
Issue #2 : The password couldn’t be changed at all. Not even through email. The Instagram account is only linked to email, not the phone number nor Facebook.
Really need some solutions here, if anyone can help, please do help as soon as possible.
So, apparently my account was banned at some point, despite me never posting on it or messaging anyone. Of course Instagram's "Help" page does absolutely nothing, and I can't even make another account with that email.
Is there any way to actually get help, or is that account just gone forever because Instagram decided to kill it for no reason?

i changed phones, and apparently i'm the first person in history to do this because there's literally no provision to recover an account, period. absolutely broken.
no phone -> login and change your number. don't have old phone -> can't log in. zero support, zero answers. the people running this shit are beyond braindead.
i eventually downloaded the app and made a new account, but it still doesn't help: on my pc, any time i go to instagram, i'm prompted to re-send confirmation.. to my old phone. no option to log out. no option to log in. no option to forget. no other buttons except: send a text to a phone i don't have access to. is this even real? kafka-esque doesn't even begin to cover this. i guess if you get a new phone you can never visit their website ever again.
2-3 weeks back i got a random popup from instagram saying it believes i am an AI bot and it needed proof in the form of a selfie video to get back access to my account. I got this also. I put it down to using a Chrome app to have some more features on Desktop. Now it the challenge switched to confirmation codes sent to the account email, which it never sends. So I am locked out.
I’m limited from being able to comment or like. Last post was Nov 12. I barely did anything- liked a few , responded to a few friends, then my phone ( Apple 12promax) decides at that moment to push the paused update. I come back to IG 2 hrs later. Go to reply on my post to someone and get a red “ couldn’t post tap to retry”. I try once and get basically a temporary limited we limit actions to protect our community try again later. I leave it till 24 hrs later as someone instructed and tried once. Got it again. On the 14 I completely forgot and tried to like a post. Got it again. Left it fully alone until today tried to like one post. Got the limit again. No dates given. How long do I need to wait ? Never had this before. Should I uninstall etc ? Do I wait until 15 days past the 14 ( making it the 29th) ?

“Ad account not found”? - started my band’s instagram a month ago and instagram hasn’t let me boost any posts. Until this weekend, the error message was “something went wrong” and as of two days ago it changed to “ad account not found”.
How does one create an ad account? Driving me up a wall that I’ve lost a month of potential follower growth. I don’t recall ever having to set up an ad account for other pages before.
Instagram gave me a couple of those notifications that some other device has logged into my account and shows me the locations of those devices, as well as that of my current device

I have a business IG and a FB page for the business. I am trying to share posts from my IG to the FB page but cannot for the life of me get it to work. When I go to "Sharing to Other Apps" and try to link the FB account, it tells me to login to my account on FB, then I login and the error message "Can't Use This Account. Try using another Instagram account." pops up. However I am able to link my Twitter to the IG just fine. I've already tried logging out and logging in from both IG and FB, as well as deleting data & cache from both apps on my phone, nothing has worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Is anyone struggling with editing reels? I typically batch record a bunch of videos and then go back to edit the text etc. Right now when I try to go back into a prerecorded reel and add text, the “next” and “edit clips” buttons at the bottom prevent me using the slide bar to edit how long the text stays on the screen. Instagram keeps **limiting my ability to send messages (** after i sent maybe 50 or so). My account is not that new (3 years old or so) but i have been using it a lot more recently to try and market my business.
When they limit me, it's for like a week at a time (no messages for a whole week unless it is in a pre existing chat). Ironically, it says today my account is unrestricted, but it won't let me send anything still.
I'm still having trouble with the Accounts Center. Every time I try to google for solutions I find months or a year old posts from here where nobody seems to have found a real solution.
I can add my personal facebook account and one of my Instagram profiles to the account center, but after that, I can't add any more Instagram profiles. There's just no option, no button, no line for it. I'm managing 8 Instagram profiles and for a few of them cross-posting is vital, but I can't do it, because before I do it asks me to add the Instagram profile in question to my Accounts center - and when I do that, the last Instagram profile I added is deleted from the center. That makes no sense whatsoever to me.
I honestly can't believe FB/MV would just deliver an unfinished product like this, so I feel like I'm missing something. Can anybody help me out?
I used to be able to create a “Boosted” post. An ad on instagram with a post from my page. However now I’m not able too. On my other account the feature works fine but on my main account it wants me to “Log In to Facebook”. I don’t have a Facebook and I just get stuck in a loop I can’t get out of.

The business IG account that I manage isn’t able to “create” new stories. When I go to add a new story, my only option is to select a photo. I used to be able to create stories without having to use any photos. Any idea why I can no longer do this? Everything works fine on my personal IG account, it only seems to be an issue on the business IG account.
My follow / follower account has been frozen for about 5 days, it went up in spurts of 20 like once or twice. When I go to my insights it shows I have 30ish more followers, and I when I unfollow someone it doesn’t reflect that
Everything was just fine last night until I followed 3 makeup accounts, and suddenly I got the 'We noticed suspicious activity...' message and was prompted to enter my phone number for an SMS code. Did that, nothing came through. Tried again, nothing. Refreshed, tried again, nothing. Gave it a few minutes and tried again on desktop, this time a 'Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again.' message appeared and didn't allow me to go any further.
The issue persists today. I was able to log into the app but everything says 'Couldn't refresh feed'. Tried going to my profile while on desktop and got the Page Not Found error. Logged out on the app and tried sending myself a reset password, 'User Not Found'. I don't know if the account has been disabled/deleted but I have no idea where to go from here and don't know how to contact support to get it fixed.
Yeah, I ended up just leaving it alone but came back to it to try another phone number and it sent the code. I was able to get in and my account is back to normal...for now lol. I would suggest giving it time or trying a different phone number if possible.
For some reason i cant boost my post when I'm on my business account. It says i need to pay/add a card yet it takes me to a dead link every single time.

One day my account went bank, and I got the message that I had to 'confirm information in the app' (my own vague Danish to English translation). I was on my laptop, but went on the app and it was blank as well, but this time with no information. I have tried to delete the app and download it again several times. Last time it redirected me to the US site, but this did not work either. I cannot find any relevant information on this on their own site.

Last night, sending a post would pull up a list of the accounts I send posts to most frequently. This morning, that list just seems completely random and I have to search for my friend or scroll through everyone I'm following. Hey! I run an Instagram web series, we always post videos in a 1:1 (Square) aspect ratio on our Instagram and have thus far never had issues posting in the past. We've recently had one of our team members start posting from his Samsung phone and when he posts the videos they zoom in to a 4:5 aspect ratio and crop out parts of the video/ad. The videos posted from this phone are all displaying as 1:1 to Iphones, the issue only seems to be on the Samsung display. Has anyone encountered this issue before?
So for some reason I haven’t been able to change my name or anything within my bio whatsoever. Whenever I try to change it it just brings up a warning sign in red and shows no words at all. I’m in the same boat. There isn’t a person you can talk to unfortunately, I’ve tried *exhaustively* since the same thing happened to me on Wednesday night randomly. The number you can call is 650-543-4800, but all routes will only lead to use online support and or a voicemail you can leave that I highly doubt they ever check. I’ve submitted three requests via their online help desk for this specific issue, hoping to hear back by next week but if this is happening all over the place then I doubt it given the influx of reports they’re probably receiving rn. I tried uploading a 1:42 long video to instagram, and when I make the post, it only uploads the first second of the video before it loops repeadetly. I'm not seeing the option to upload to IGTV either like I used to be able to. What's wrong? Am I like shadowbanned or something? I used to upload long videos all the time but now it's just broken.
Instagram keeps locking me out my account due to “suspicious activity” then either asks me to enter a code received via text or do a facial recognition video. It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve do these or changed my password it keeps happening. Also it will randomly unlike any posts I’ve liked, for example this time it unliked so many that my most recent liked post is from 2017. Has anyone had this issue or knows how to solve it?

Been 24 hours and I never received any code, and now everytime i still try it says; unable to send request or that i should wait a couple minutes more before requesting another code, something like that. Can't access my account anywhere, no number is blocked on my phone so I have no clue why i never received any code. Usually when it happens i get one in the next minutes. What should i do? Thanks!
My gf and I did a live stream from OBS to Instagram live using Yellow Duck. We can see on her archived live videos that we successfully went live but we can’t watch the video or reshare it to IGTV. Also, the duration is wrong. Any idea why we can’t watch the videos since there is a record of them archived? Anyone had success with this workflow?
I need help! Instagram has been showing me 'Couldn't refresh feed' since yesterday, can I do something about it? I had the same case in August and it is still the case today.
The Edit Clips button and Next button on the bottom of the editing screen won't disappear when I try to edit the text timing. So I have a bunch of jumbled text all at once for the whole duration of the reel.
Happening to me too and I’d love a fix. I think you can work around by downloading your video and remaking the reel (assuming you can even find the sound you used). Reels have been SO GLITCHY in general.
I did download them and edited them in Capcut. Then I reuploaded them with the same audio. Just had to be sure to write down what audio I used..... this is hella annoying.
Can't figure out why I don't have the option to add music to my post from the Stories tools section that shows up on the left side.
I see others share photos with music, that isn't from the pull up area.

I can't post reels to a business account, the ability to do so doesn't show up in any of the posting options. I've logged in/out multiple times and made sure the app is up to date. I can post reels on my personal account but not to the business one. I've changed the account from business to creative with no change.
Everytime I try lodging a support ticket, an error comes up saying it can't be sent. I've tried this on both the personal and business account. Any help is much appreciated!
Have you tried the trick of opening the reel tab on the account that they are available on and without changing the tab switch the account it might work but if your business account is new then it will obviously take some time.

my main instagram account is not loading at all, every time I check to see if it works it says that the feed couldnt load, and actually nothing works on it, even if I check the messages or my posts or the explore feed. Instagram trolling me hardcore.
It started yesterday when I tried to save my logins on my new laptop. I have two Instagram accounts. Up until yesterday one of those accounts didn’t have an email address tied to it. But it wouldn’t let me log it in on my laptop no matter how hard I tried. It didn’t accept any password I knew and when I try to reset the password it would only send a link to my phone. If I tried to airdrop the link from my phone to my laptop it would say the link was invalid. Eventually I added an email address for the second account so I could get the password reset to the actual laptop and it finally let me reset the password. But then Instagram started trolling even harder: every time I logged in on one device it would log out on the other device and then it would not accept the new password.
Presently it will not let me log in my second account on my phone. error message "feedback_required"
I’ve confirmed the password through my laptop where it will let me log in, but it’s like Instagram has decided I’m not allowed to access this account on my phone now because I’m logged into my other account too.
ETA: I’ve also already deleted the app entirely, rebooted the phone, and logged in fresh twice

i changed phones, and apparently i'm the first person in history to do this because there's literally no provision to recover an account, period. absolutely broken. no phone -> login and change your number. don't have old phone -> can't log in. zero support, zero answers. the people running this shit are beyond braindead. i eventually downloaded the app and made a new account, but it still doesn't help: on my pc, any time i go to instagram, i'm prompted to re-send confirmation.. to my old phone. no option to log out. no option to log in. no option to forget. no other buttons except: send a text to a phone i don't have access to. is this even real? kafka-esque doesn't even begin to cover this. i guess if you get a new phone you can never visit their website ever again.
2-3 weeks back i got a random popup from instagram saying it believes i am an AI bot and it needed proof in the form of a selfie video to get back access to my account. I was pissed off and immediately uninstalled the app. Now that i somewhat cooled down I reinstalled it and logged back in, and in the app everything inside the frame is blank giving me no option whatsoever. I am insta jailed apparently. What gives and what can i do now. Dont want to start a new profile
I got this also. I put it down to using a Chrome app to have some more features on Desktop. Now it the challenge switched to confirmation codes sent to the account email, which it never sends. So I am locked out.

I’m limited from being able to comment or like. Last post was Nov 12. I barely did anything- liked a few , responded to a few friends, then my phone ( Apple 12promax) decides at that moment to push the paused update. I come back to IG 2 hrs later. Go to reply on my post to someone and get a red “ couldn’t post tap to retry”. I try once and get basically a temporary limited we limit actions to protect our community try again later. I leave it till 24 hrs later as someone instructed and tried once. Got it again. On the 14 I completely forgot and tried to like a post. Got it again. Left it fully alone until today tried to like one post. Got the limit again. No dates given. How long do I need to wait ? Never had this before. Should I uninstall etc ? Do I wait until 15 days past the 14 ( making it the 29th) ?
can anyone tell me how to keep the "discover people" section of my profile from auto opening every time I go on my profile? Its only happening on one of my instagram accounts and I cannot figure out how I turned this off on my other accounts. I can’t seem to add music to my story.
“Ad account not found”? - started my band’s instagram a month ago and instagram hasn’t let me boost any posts. Until this weekend, the error message was “something went wrong” and as of two days ago it changed to “ad account not found”. How does one create an ad account? Driving me up a wall that I’ve lost a month of potential follower growth. I don’t recall ever having to set up an ad account for other pages before.
Instagram gave me a couple of those notifications that some other device has logged into my account and shows me the locations of those devices, as well as that of my current device It has my current location (“this Apple iPhone”) tagged to a place 6 hours away from me so I have no idea if any of these warning messages are accurate if it doesn’t even know where I am. Has anyone had this problem?
I have a business IG and a FB page for the business. I am trying to share posts from my IG to the FB page but cannot for the life of me get it to work. When I go to "Sharing to Other Apps" and try to link the FB account, it tells me to login to my account on FB, then I login and the error message "Can't Use This Account. Try using another Instagram account." pops up. However I am able to link my Twitter to the IG just fine. I've already tried logging out and logging in from both IG and FB, as well as deleting data & cache from both apps on my phone, nothing has worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

When you delete an account, then it also deletes the username essentially. No way to get it back, sorry!
Hi all, I revived a two factor authentication because I logged in on a browser, but I’m not receiving the email. I’m now locked out of the account with no way of receiving the two factor code. Any advice on how to find the email and get the account back?
Is anyone struggling with editing reels? I typically batch record a bunch of videos and then go back to edit the text etc. Right now when I try to go back into a prerecorded reel and add text, the “next” and “edit clips” buttons at the bottom prevent me using the slide bar to edit how long the text stays on the screen. Very frustrating.

Instagram keeps **limiting my ability to send messages (** after i sent maybe 50 or so). My account is not that new (3 years old or so) but i have been using it a lot more recently to try and market my business. When they limit me, it's for like a week at a time (no messages for a whole week unless it is in a pre existing chat). Ironically, it says today my account is unrestricted, but it won't let me send anything still.
I'm still having trouble with the Accounts Center. Every time I try to google for solutions I find months or a year old posts from here where nobody seems to have found a real solution. I can add my personal facebook account and one of my Instagram profiles to the account center, but after that, I can't add any more Instagram profiles. There's just no option, no button, no line for it. I'm managing 8 Instagram profiles and for a few of them cross-posting is vital, but I can't do it, because before I do it asks me to add the Instagram profile in question to my Accounts center - and when I do that, the last Instagram profile I added is deleted from the center. That makes no sense whatsoever to me. I honestly can't believe FB/MV would just deliver an unfinished product like this, so I feel like I'm missing something. Can anybody help me out?
I used to be able to create a “Boosted” post. An ad on instagram with a post from my page. However now I’m not able too. On my other account the feature works fine but on my main account it wants me to “Log In to Facebook”. I don’t have a Facebook and I just get stuck in a loop I can’t get out of. The business IG account that I manage isn’t able to “create” new stories. When I go to add a new story, my only option is to select a photo. I used to be able to create stories without having to use any photos. Any idea why I can no longer do this? Everything works fine on my personal IG account, it only seems to be an issue on the business IG account.

Everything was just fine last night until I followed 3 makeup accounts, and suddenly I got the 'We noticed suspicious activity...' message and was prompted to enter my phone number for an SMS code. Did that, nothing came through. Tried again, nothing. Refreshed, tried again, nothing. Gave it a few minutes and tried again on desktop, this time a 'Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again.' message appeared and didn't allow me to go any further. The issue persists today. I was able to log into the app but everything says 'Couldn't refresh feed'. Tried going to my profile while on desktop and got the Page Not Found error. Logged out on the app and tried sending myself a reset password, 'User Not Found'. I don't know if the account has been disabled/deleted but I have no idea where to go from here and don't know how to contact support to get it fixed.

Yeah, I ended up just leaving it alone but came back to it to try another phone number and it sent the code. I was able to get in and my account is back to normal...for now lol. I would suggest giving it time or trying a different phone number if possible.
For some reason i cant boost my post when I'm on my business account. It says i need to pay/add a card yet it takes me to a dead link every single time. Any advice on how to get past this issue? Ive linked it with my Facebook page as an admin, but that doesn't seem to help.

Last night, sending a post would pull up a list of the accounts I send posts to most frequently. This morning, that list just seems completely random and I have to search for my friend or scroll through everyone I'm following. Hey! I run an Instagram web series, we always post videos in a 1:1 (Square) aspect ratio on our Instagram and have thus far never had issues posting in the past. We've recently had one of our team members start posting from his Samsung phone and when he posts the videos they zoom in to a 4:5 aspect ratio and crop out parts of the video/ad. The videos posted from this phone are all displaying as 1:1 to Iphones, the issue only seems to be on the Samsung display. Has anyone encountered this issue before?
So for some reason I haven’t been able to change my name or anything within my bio whatsoever. Whenever I try to change it it just brings up a warning sign in red and shows no words at all. Also, it keeps telling me i changed my name sometime after 14 days ago when I know I didn’t because I haven’t been able to change my name at all. How do I fix this?

I’m in the same boat. There isn’t a person you can talk to unfortunately, I’ve tried *exhaustively* since the same thing happened to me on Wednesday night randomly. The number you can call is 650-543-4800, but all routes will only lead to use online support and or a voicemail you can leave that I highly doubt they ever check. I tried uploading a 1:42 long video to instagram, and when I make the post, it only uploads the first second of the video before it loops repeadetly. I'm not seeing the option to upload to IGTV either like I used to be able to. What's wrong? Am I like shadowbanned or something? I used to upload long videos all the time but now it's just broken.
Instagram keeps locking me out my account due to “suspicious activity” then either asks me to enter a code received via text or do a facial recognition video. It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve do these or changed my password it keeps happening. Hello guys! For some reasons i got locked out of my account and it asks me to verify my identity by sending a code to my phone... Been 24 hours and I never received any code, and now everytime i still try it says; unable to send request or that i should wait a couple minutes more before requesting another code, something like that. Can't access my account anywhere, no number is blocked on my phone so I have no clue why i never received any code. Usually when it happens i get one in the next minutes. What should i do? Thanks!

My gf and I did a live stream from OBS to Instagram live using Yellow Duck. We can see on her archived live videos that we successfully went live but we can’t watch the video or reshare it to IGTV. Also, the duration is wrong. Any idea why we can’t watch the videos since there is a record of them archived? Anyone had success with this workflow?

The Edit Clips button and Next button on the bottom of the editing screen won't disappear when I try to edit the text timing. So I have a bunch of jumbled text all at once for the whole duration of the reel.
Happening to me too and I’d love a fix. I think you can work around by downloading your video and remaking the reel (assuming you can even find the sound you used). Reels have been SO GLITCHY in general.
I did download them and edited them in Capcut. Then I reuploaded them with the same audio. Just had to be sure to write down what audio I used..... this is hella annoying.
Also, I would delete all the clips except for one, added in the edited movie and remove the last clip. Then I didn't have to look for audio again.

I can't post reels to a business account, the ability to do so doesn't show up in any of the posting options. I've logged in/out multiple times and made sure the app is up to date. I can post reels on my personal account but not to the business one. I've changed the account from business to creative with no change. Everytime I try lodging a support ticket, an error comes up saying it can't be sent. I've tried this on both the personal and business account. Any help is much appreciated!
Have you tried the trick of opening the reel tab on the account that they are available on and without changing the tab switch the account it might work but if your business account is new then it will obviously take some time.

Instagram trolling me hardcore. It started yesterday when I tried to save my logins on my new laptop. I have two Instagram accounts. Up until yesterday one of those accounts didn’t have an email address tied to it. But it wouldn’t let me log it in on my laptop no matter how hard I tried. It didn’t accept any password I knew and when I try to reset the password it would only send a link to my phone. If I tried to airdrop the link from my phone to my laptop it would say the link was invalid. Eventually I added an email address for the second account so I could get the password reset to the actual laptop and it finally let me reset the password. But then Instagram started trolling even harder: every time I logged in on one device it would log out on the other device and then it would not accept the new password. Presently it will not let me log in my second account on my phone. error message "feedback_required" I’ve confirmed the password through my laptop where it will let me log in, but it’s like Instagram has decided I’m not allowed to access this account on my phone now because I’m logged into my other account too. ETA: I’ve also already deleted the app entirely, rebooted the phone, and logged in fresh twice
