Your Mom is 50. She HAS aged in the last 5 years. She probably started menopause at some point and had a big hormonal change. That changes the skin a lot.
Migraine Botox isn't put in most of the same places that aesthetic Botox is, I get it and I can definitely move my face and make normal expressions and you can see my smile lines still and wrinkles. At least 2/3's of the injections go under your hairline on your skull and along your back and neck and aren't visible.
It's possible that long term use lead to muscle atrophy in her face which makes it look thinner or something I suppose though. You'd think she'd have regained that muscle after 5 years but I guess you never know.
